Fritz Katzenjammer, who for the last 113 years has conspired with his brother of Hans to miss as much school as possible, and make the lives of Dur Captain and the Inspector (the local truant officer) as difficult as possible, at times creating the most elaborate contraptions from ordinary objects found on their tropical island home to do this.
Seemingly impervious to pain or real damage Fritz and his sibling have also found from time to time that they have to drop their high-jinx to deal with pirates, hostile natives from other islands and even an invasion from outer space on one occasion.
While a blond, in a parallel universe Fritz it seems is the brunette brother.
