When last seen, Jason Voorhees was trapped with chains in the bottom of Crystal Lake. But he is not the only human body in its depths. Tina Shepard, a telekinetic girl, had drowned her father in the lake. When guilt ridden Tina attempts to raise the corpse of her father, Jason is the one released instead.
