    Abused Girl Gets Hers.

I've read some bad things on the internet about anything to do with the Friday the 13th comics. I have never been a big fan of the whole franchise but it has had its moments. I decided to give this one a try. It is a one shot so there isn't really any kind of long term investment in it.

The Abuser and the Abused is the story of an abused high school girl. She gets beat up all the time by her boyfriend. Finally she has had enough!

The story itself was fine by itself, throwing in Jason Voorhees seems kind of odd and out of place. I don't know why they had to use Camp Crystal Lake and Jason Voorhees at all...except I guess for name only to get this comic on the shelves.

Oh well, it was a decent read with a bit of a moral story to it. Nothing much is added toward the Jason Voorhees mythology. He just appears to slaughter a bit near the end and that's the end of the comic.

Worthwhile? Maybe not, but a mildly enjoyable diversion.
