Freeza is a fictional villain in Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball (US only: Dragon Ball Z) manga and the anime Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. Edit
The Beginning of the end
Freeza is a tyrannical monster who enslaved the Saiyan race to capture planets for him to sell. Freeza was concerned of an old Saiyan legend, the legend of the Super Saiyan. He saw that a group of low level Saiyans lead by Goku's father Bardock was completing their missions far more quickly and with less trouble. Freeza concluded that there would be a Super Saiyan able to challenge him, so he decided to exterminate the Saiyan race. Meanwhile, Bardock and his team were sent to a planet where Freeza's henchman Dodoria and some other warriors waited to ambush them. They were successful in destroying Bardock's team, but not Bardock, because he was not there yet. When Bardock arrived, he took on Dodoria's squad without trouble, but Dodoria was too much for him. Dodoria left him to die, but Bardock was able to escape. When Bardock got back to planet Vegeta, he warned the others of what was to come, but no one believed him. He went to challenge Freeza alone but was easily destroyed, along with the rest of the planet, and most of his race.
Namek
Freeza comes to planet Namek twenty years later, looking to gain immortality with the Namekian Dragonballs. This is where Freeza's and the Z-fighters' interests collide, as Kuririn and Gohan wish to collect them to restore their friends who were killed by Vegeta and Nappa. Vegeta also arrives hoping to gain immortality. Freeza has no problem collecting all seven, but cannot get them to work, as you need to speak in Namekian to activate them. He leaves to try and extract the code from some Namekians, which prompts Vegeta, Kuririn (Krillin), and Gohan to steal them. They wish Piccolo back, and for him to be on Namek, but then the Great elder dies, and as his life force is tied to the Dragon balls, the balls become useless afterwards. Freeza arrives, and becomes very angry, attacking Vegeta who has grown equal in power to Freeza's first form. Freeza transforms and toys with the Kuririn and Gohan until Piccolo, who is fused with the Namekian warrior Nail, arrives. They fight, but Freeza transforms again, and beats Piccolo. Freeza transforms into his final form, while Vegeta raises his power level in an "unconventional" way by having Kuririn shoot him with a Ki blast and Dende heal him, knowing that Saiyans grow stronger after near-death experiences. Vegeta attacks Freeza, but soon realizes he is no match. Goku arrives and Freeza kills Vegeta. They battle, but Goku is also no match. Freeza ends up killing Kuririn, which enrages Goku. Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan, and after a lengthy battle, ends up obliterating Freeza. Freeza is left to die as Namek blows up, but Freeza survives even this. His father, King Cold, finds him floating in space and has his men gather him up, and attach cyber-prosthetics which raise his power level.
Cyborg Freeza
Freeza and King Cold arrive on earth. King Cold tells Freeza that he is able blow up the planet from space, but Freeza is vain and wanted the pleasure of destroying the Super Saiyan's planet. When he arrives a mysterious youth from the future, who is later is revealed to be Bulma and Vegeta's son Trunks, arrives and destroys Freeza with ease.
GT Freeza
In the Super Android 17 saga, Goku encounters Cell and Freeza in Hell and must fight both of them. Freeza fights alongside Cell and fights Goku for revenge. Freeza and Cell put Goku through tests and for the last test, they freeze Goku. Goku manages to unfreeze himself and freezes both Cell and Freeza by the same freeze machine. Freeza is shattered by Goku, along with Cell.
DNA
Dr. gero managed to be a scientist working for King Cold. When they picked him up from the debree of planet namek he extracted dna and added it to cell. Then he fixed up freeza with the new parts.
