Freefall

Roxy is the daughter of Alex Fairchild (a member of Team 7) and Gloria Spaulding. In her childhood, Roxy's father was sent on a secret mission and Gloria had no way to contact him, so Roxy was raised by her mother and a stepfather, whom Roxy was led to believe was her actual father. She was enrolled in a Catholic School where she was mistreated by her classmates. She speaks with a sort of valley girl accent.

Roxy was tested by the International Operations (I.O.) because her father had been exposed to the Gen-factor. Since the I.O. thought the children of the members of Team 7 inherited super human abilities, they started Project Genesis to test and recruit gen-active children. I.O. eventually tried to enslave the subjects of Project Genesis, so Roxy and the other members of Gen 13 (Fairchild, Grunge, Rainmaker, and Burnout) escaped. During their escape, Roxy's powers manifested and she discovered that she could manipulate gravity, so she took the codename Freefall.

After Gen 13 escaped from Project Genesis they relocated to San Diego, where Freefall snuck into a dance club and met an alien named Queelocke, who became Roxy's pet. She discovered that her teammate Caitlin Fairchild was her half-sister, which led to considerable anger towards her mother for lying to her about her father her whole life. Roxy finally met her real father, Alex Fairchild, who became a mentor for the team, though he initially had conflicts with Roxy. Eventually she grew to accept him as a father. Unfortunately, Alex was soon killed when trying to protect his daughters from a Gen 13 enemy known as Professor Tindalos. 

Over the next few months, Roxy had a lot of arguments with her teammates, who had always had difficulties understanding Roxy's infatuation with Grunge, her smoking habits, and her general attitude. Their concerns were proven correct when Roxy found out that Grunge had been having an affair with Swift from The Authority. Despite this all, Roxy was still in love with Grunge. Roxy also became a bit of an otaku, with a great love for J-pop music and anime.

Roxy was thought to be killed in an explosion with the rest of Gen 13, but in fact, Gen 13 had been displaced to an alternate universe and they returned to their own Earth months later.

Powers and Abilities

Gravitikinesis - Freefall has the ability to manipulate gravity to various effects. She can nullify gravity beneath her allowing her or others to levitate. She can also increase the gravity around a specific area inflicting damage or just making it impossible for an enemy to move. This ability requires concentration and is exhausting to maintain for long periods of time. It has also been suggested in dialog that if she tried hard enough she could effect gravity to the point of warping spacetime.
