    A Radical Read

So, this is my first official Radical book.  I picked up the Hercules title that they did, but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet.  I have heard good things about it, though.
The thing that I've noticed about Radical books is that they all seem to have really wicked art.  I'm mean some super sweet eye candy for all to enjoy.  The one downfall I've seen, in Freedom Formula at least, is that it's almost too much for your eye/brain ratio to handle.  At least that's what I call it when the art almost overloads your eyes and it makes it hard for your brain to comprehend everything on the page.
I guess you could just say that the art is so good that it's distracting.
Not only that, but they use a LOT of shadowing here as well.  Not sure what that's all about, hopefully it's not some sort of cop-out to shade more/draw less, y'know what I mean?
Ok, so in this episode I guess Zee is now a fledgling member of this street racing "gang" or whatever they are.  It's hard to keep track of the story sometimes.  But they steal this racing mech from some company or government or whatever.  Well, Zee winds up racing in this mecha and at the end of the issue his competitor turns out to, seemingly, be someone from his past.
To get a better rating on this title they need to tone down the art a little bit and tone up the story just a smidge and they'd have one kickass story here.
    Until next time...
