Freedom Force was original a team of villains who were the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. However when mutant hysteria was on the rise they signed up with Uncle Sam to avoid prosecution. Edit

Original Team

The original team members of Freedom Force were Destiny (Irene Adler), Mystique (Raven Darkholme), Spiral (Ricochet Rita), Blob (Fredrick Dukes), Pyro (St. John Allerdyce) and Avalanche (Dominic Petros).

First Addition

Spider-Woman (Julia Carpenter) was quickly added to the roster by their government liason, Valerie Cooper.

Missions

Freedom Force was asked to apprehend Rusty Collins. This lead them into conflict with the original X-men, who were using the name X-terminators as a cover for their X-Factor operation.
