Freddy Freeman (Captain Marvel Jr./CM3/Shazam) joined the Teen Titans in Teen Titans Vol. 2 #17 (1998). He has also been a member of Titans L.A. which he joined in The Titans Secret Files #2 (2000), the Outsiders and the Marvel Family. He was a member of the Teen Titans during the One Year Gap. By shouting the name of his idol, Captain Marvel, Freddie is transformed by a bolt of enchanted lightning into Captain Marvel Jr. As CM Jr, he has the powers of six legendary elders; from Solomon he gains wisdom, from Hercules strength, from Atlas stamina, from Zeus power, from Achilles courage and from Mercury super speed.
