Frankie B Washington graduated from Butera School of Art in 1991. About three years after, he began to work part-time with Robbins Entertainment before being hired full time as the creative director. He oversaw the production of storyboards and concept art for their original property called Colouron as well as being brought on to storyboard the films SQUEEZE and NEXT WONDERLAND.
Frankie later became a freelancer and was brought into the fold of Olive Jar Studios as the studio storyboard artist and a concept artist. His final gig with OJS was for Universal Theme Parks Islands Of Adventure Hulk and Dr Doom rides as part of the animation team for the queue videos that the people watch before going on the ride.
Frankie went the route of commercial illustrator and landed gigs with some of the largest and smallest advertising agencies in Boston and New York which branched into printed work, toy concepts, more film work and currently sketch cards.
He's worked on two Miramax films, an Animation Studio, Advertising Agencies, Print & Comic Book Publishers (Including Image and Alterna), Sketch & Trading Card Companies and Others. He is known for his artwork involving kaijus and/or robots.
