Tempus is cool and probably the best new mutant in like 10 years, but she couldn't hold a book and it wouldn't make sense for her to get a book. I also don't care about her enough to spend money on her. If she did get a solo series with so many other characters much more deserving i wouldn't support it.
@god_spawn: its more like a uncanny x-men annual number one
I think we don't know Tempus long enough for her to support her own solo...
maybe it explains why she aged fast and its more like a uncanny x-men annual number one series. Sort of like a solo since its all about tempus.
@hopesummersforthefuture: The annual could be a way of Marvel testing Tempus' potential as a solo character with her own series...
If the annual is great, then they will probably give Tempus her own series if not then she won't...
These are scans for the annual there is no Temps solo.
If this turns out well then maybe I would be interested in a solo somewhere down the line because she's the most interesting Uncanny kid.
and shes awesome(nice+prettygirl or woman now?lol)

Not likely. Usually new characters get an issue or two that helps define them every once in a while and just because the issue does well they don't give them their own series. Avengers 5 was all about Smasher, Avengers 34.1 was all about Hyperion, Wolverine and the X-Men 13 was all about Warbird, etc. It's a pretty common things.
@teerack: You make a good point...
if you mean, will I get the Uncanny X-men Annual featuring Tempus? then, yeah, probably.
if you mean, would I be interested in seeing Tempus get her own series? then, that would depend..
on the one hand, she seems like a weird pick because she's relatively new and there are lots of other characters who seem like more likely candidates, even among the X-men, to get their own series.
on the other hand, it would probably depend on the creative team and what their premise was. I mean, that she seems to be able to travel through time could already explain how she could end up having her own solo adventures, separate from the team, without it unnecessarily affecting her story in Uncanny'.
I think a lot of people might not give it a chance either because she's a new character or out of resentment that characters they like more haven't gotten a series, but both of those reasons seem dumb to me.
Firstly, it's not even uncommon for characters to have their 1st or 2nd appearance in their own book. Spider-man, Daredevil, and She-Hulk were introduced like that, as was Jessica Jones and the most recent Ms. Marvel. So the idea that a new character can't be interesting enough to carry their own series just holds no water for me.
Secondly, any character can be good in a good book. I didn't have any expectations of liking Cyclops or Storm in a solo series, but both of their recent series have been quite good. The idea of a Hawkeye solo seemed pointless to me, but now it's one of my favorite books. And it's not like having a great title character will mean the book will be good anyway *cough*Nightcrawler*cough*..
@oldnightcrawler: its two annuals so far and its price is 4.99 each, ouch.
@oldnightcrawler: o.o

well, in that case maybe I'll see what else is out that week before I decide.
what are the two annuals? Uncanny' and what?
...
or is she in this year's annual and last year's because of time travel? (because that's actually kind of clever..)

Uncanny X-men annual 1(part1) and All-New x-men Annual 1(part2)

So it wont do good.
Thank god this isn't another solo. When I saw the thread title I could almost feel my blood pressure rising just thinking about another ridiculous solo book, half of this new MARVEL NOW batch are gonna be canceled within a year anyways.
Yes oh yes oh hell yes. I'd love to see her go solo when she has a bit more of her own story and we know her more. Also if I like the art.
I really like her. I'm already super hyped about the annuals.
Any dates on the 2nd Annual?
December i dont know
I will read the annuals with her I them. Along with Hijack she is basically the only new creation of Bendis that I can actually stomach. As far as a solo, things are too watered down as is. We dont need anymore solos. Just tell the story within the team books. Its like everyone is hunting for a new Wolverine to carry on the solo stuff. Newsflash!!!!! Even Wolverine as a solo character doesnt automatically make for a good solo book. A lot of his solo stuff is crap
