What do you think of the Xmen Apocalypse horseman lineup?

I think official movie communication is that the horsemen are Archangel, Holocaust, Exodus and Selene.

Personally don't really think Archangel inspires dread, so he's the weak link, Holocaust is OK depending on how he's done...he's more or less like Sebastian Shaw on full nuclear reactor mode. Exodus and Selene are bad-ass enough to give the X-men trouble single handed so I like Exodus and Selene. Selene is even older than Apocalypse so it's funny she gets a nod as his horseman but it's ok for the film I guess.

What are your thoughts?

I think Gambit as Death would of been really awesome to see.

Also what is your source for the official line-up? I can't find it.

Ironically, my favorite is Archangel for his versatility and inner struggle. I can see your point about who's the toughest opponent.

I think Exodus, Archangel, Holocaust, and somebody else would work (don't really picture Selene as a Horseman, and she's be hard to explain to a standard viewer).

This is purely just a speculation list, nothing official has been announced yet.

I wouldnt mind Selene being a horseman actually and then being a fully fledged villain in either another X-Men film or an X-force film

I'd like to see confirmation as well, but the lineup is indeed badass. We couldn't really expect Selene with her own backstory as the first mutant adapted into a movie without it being a whole plotline on itself, which isn't likely to happen, so I won't complain here. Exodus as Magneto's right hand and successor also never happened, so acknowledging his connection to Apocalypse makes him also a great choice. Holocaust (Genocide) is his son in both realities with his threatening appearance and nuclear powers suggests he's just a perfect candidate.

The only problem is Archangel. I really Hope it isn't Warren from X3....
