So it's Blackheath and Storm pair in ultimate X-men. I'll try to know more about Blackheath

can storm fly without her cape? in AVX panther destroyed her cape and she wasnt able to fly(right?)

Yes, she can. The cape does not drastically effect her flight. And this is the Ultimate Storm. And, she WAS still able to fly after her cape was taen after her in that travesty of an event.

yeah, it doesn't really make sense that Storm can fly without her cape, but as 'Hurricane pointed out, there is lots of president for it happening in the comics.

Taking into consideration, we're talking about comicbooks, so in this context, it does make sense.

Why Would she need a Cape to Fly?

IF the wind is strong enough it can make her fly. Sofia used to fly using winds without cape.

For the record. I think Ultimate Storm never used a cape at all.
