Just found this http://www.hitfix.com/news/avengers-...q7rv23Kqtl1.99 and i was like...wow...really?

The solicits suggest that one of the things we'll see is a team comparable to the "All-New X-Men." Can you talk about the emergence of these characters and what sort of effect this team -- which appears to be made up of the original Avengers -- will have on the book?

Brevoort: We're very tired after "Infinity," so rather than coming up with any new ideas of our own, we thought we'd just steal from what Brian [Bendis] was using because it was lot easier and it seems to be working for him. So what the hell? Let's just do that.

Hickman: Yeah, we asked for permission and Bendis was graceful enough to let us ride on his massive coattails.

Brevoort: [Laughs]

Hickman: As we are prone do from time to time.

Brevoort: It's true [Laughs]

Hickman: There's a royalty structure in place, and we owe him money, as usual. But it will all work out.

Oh, hell. A time displaced version of the original Avengers? TWO Hulks/Bruce Banners? TWO Hank Pym's?

Oh, god... Worst of all...

TWO Tony Starks?!

I read the solicits for this issue and I was like okay lol. I thought it was a joke in part by Marvel but I guess it's true. Ill pick up the first issue. I would really want to see the interactions between younger Tony and older Tony.

The Avengers have always ripped off the X-Men.

But, yeah, whatever. The guy was pretty clearly joking.

@hopesummersforthefuture: hulk would have a new BFF though lol. It would just be interesting to see how young Stark would react to hearing the news about the civil war about Cap's death. Speaking about Cap if the past Avengers come to the future would that mean that Cap wouldn't be around? The Avengers found Cap frozen when Hulk when he left the group so if that doesn't take place them Cap isn't found and stays in his ice cube.

On a more serious note, I like this idea. Most of the X-Men who came back got most of their development in the last couple of years: Cyclops has only fairly recently become something OTHER than the idealist leader he started out as, Iceman's only fairly recently started becoming insanely powerful, Angel's only recently become... whatever he's become. As for Jean and Beast... Well Jean pretty much just fluctuates between dead and goddess, while Beast just becomes more blue without much development in his personality.

Now these Avengers?

THEY'VE had development: Iron Man became a politician, betrayed everyone he knew, just found out he has a BROTHER, and then there was the whole Extremis thing. Hank and Wasp have had some serious ups and downs, and for a couple like them, seeing their future might not be such a good thing. Especially with present Hank only just now accepting that he's bipolar and trying to deal with it by having a team of robotic Avengers. And Hulk? Oh, MAN. The crap that's happened to Hulk and Banner... Planet Hulk, World War Hulk, Red She-Hulk, and now he's working with SHIELD?! Holy crap, this might be really cool.

Oh, right. Thor's a member of these Avengers too... Can't wait til he meets present day Loki.

@jonsmith: I agree, it could be interesting to see some of the reactions. I'm hoping this means that present day Hank and Janet are going to be guest starring, otherwise it's kind of a wasted opportunity.

@squares:I find it a little odd that their poses suggest an homage to Avengers #1, but Ant-Man doesn't have his helmet, and Iron Man is wearing his suit from #3. I wonder if it'll be clarified in some way.

Great, first the rip off of the bomber jacket era X-men and now this. Where's Immortus to imprison Beast and Wolverine for this crap of Time travel overabundance.

Maybe it's because the first Avengers series I read was Avengers Forever (which had team members from many different time periods), or maybe just becauseKang has always been one of my favorite Avengers villains, but the time travel thing somehow seems less weird to me for the Avengers than for the X-men.

I like this idea but it would have made more sense right after Civil War and while Cap was still "dead"....as of now it seems like everyone has forgot about the Civil War and the sides they chose

I don't know about this. I mean, aren't things complicated enough in the Marvel Universe with all this time-traveling going on? And why do I have a bad feeling that this might be Marvel's subtle way to reboot the universe?

Actually wasn't thinking about that one time thing at all. Got this and Ultimate Marvel mixed up in my head. Bite me.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I just don't know how they're going to do it. Either fold all of time together because AOU broke it or they're just going to kill of all the present day characters and replace them with the past characters.

Well... shit.

The idea behind All New X-Men wasn't really that interesting to begin with, and the time stream was said, many times to be broken as hell, so, which genius will be responsible of messing, yet again, with it?

Oh no...if this happens, then all the character development that the characters went through the past few years will be thrown out the window!

Well... shit.

Yeah, I keep hearing the statement that "messing with the time stream is going to mess up the universe" and yet, here they are, doing it again and again.

Past few years? More like all character development from the mid60s onward would be completely erased! It would be like a whole new universe except it would retain all of the history.....for some reason I could see Marvel doing this.
