Why would Emma, Gambit, Leech, Maggot be above Wolverine. There not better characters then him. Neither are Storm or Cyclops.

It's are way of finding out who are 100 greatest X-Men of all time. Voted by the people on comic vine.

When is the next list being done on Marvel.

Instead of guessing who's the top 3 why not guess if the list will contain an upset for the sake of shock value and if yes who.

I'm gonna bet they're gonna go for a triple shock and have Cyclops, Storm and Wolverine outside the top 5. Improbable but someone has to vote for the extreme choice

Wolverine may be the most popular character... but he isn't necessarily the most important. You have to look at how they are organizing the list. If they are making it a popularity contest then Wolverine has it no problem. But if it is a list of who has been the most important to the X-men universe... he might have some competition.

Also... totally not surprised about Hope. They kept hyping her up and it culminated in a sub-par, classic comic-book "totally obscure solution to the problem" story.

I'm not sure I like Marvel creating their own top 50 X-men list. It's not going to please anybody and really we are just going to see how Marvel views each of their characters. If say... Rogue beats Storm... we'll all know for sure then that Marvel thinks Rogue is more important and the Storm fans will be upset. But if Storm beats Rogue then all the Rogue fans will be upset. I just think this is a stupid idea because it's just going to irritate fans of the characters who don't place as high as they would like.

So the top 10 is Colossus, Nightcrawler, Kitty, Jean, Storm, Magneto, Rogue, Cyclops, Wolverine and Beast...as expected. Scott/Logan will be 1°/2°. I'm curious to see who is going to be in the top 3, probably Storm.

I told myself that I'd wait to the end but man, this is already making me want to put my own list together. I just do not agree with how high some of these characters are. Psylocke? I guess I shouldn't doubt the popularity of a scantily clad British/Japanese psychic ninja but man, I would not rank her that high.

Okay, my take in the spoiler block. It's not perfect but this is from as much time as I'm willing to put into this. Honestly, I had about 20-25 that I cared about then I started to realize just how many x-men are included in a "top 50" list.

I guess I severely underestimated Beast. I thought nobody was really THAT interested in him xD Lesson learned!

First of, Namor shouldn't be in the list at all. What impact has he had on X-Men comics. Suprised to see Emma Frost voted over Jubilee, I'm glad Cable, Psylocke, Iceman are rated over Emma Frost. That's means Jean, Rogue, Storm, kitty, Colossus, Beast, kurt, Wolverine , Magneto and Cyclops are in the top 10. .

I remember we got are one to that include all the characters in the X-Men franchise. More people just need to take part.

I must say, im pleasantly surprised at the top two going to Kurt and Kitty. In a way Marvel was smart not to go with the Cyclops vs Wolverine thing. They went with their hearts instead of their heads. Although i would still put Cyclops higher (by that i mean smaller number) than Wolverine. The only GLARING issue i have is Beast at number 3! He's turned his back on the X-Men before, is part of the Illuminati, and has spent half his time with the Avengers more than any other of the X-Men have. Including Logan! So... No. He's a great character, and has contributed much as a Marvel Super Hero. But as an X-Man... there are many others more deserving of being in the top 3.

Both Cyclops and Wolverine miss the top 3? Beast at number 3? LAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

When it came to the Xmen I should of known but I figured they would go with at least some intelligence. When I saw the top 20 I knew it wasn't going to be good. and there it is.

Magik should have been top 10. She is legit one of the most powerful and dangerous X-Men ever.

Wow. Just... wow. I'm as big of a Storm fan as it gets but Storm beating Cyclops?! Wtf.

Nightcrawler and Kitty beating Cyke and Storm? Wow.

Rogue beating Jean Grey? Wow.

Just... wow.

Storm beats wolverine scott and jean. A beautiful day it is indeed. Ive been saying all along how important she is so great to be validated by Marvel as well. Marvel recognize her importance hopefully we get a solo ongoing as well.

As much as I love seeing Nightcrawler at 2nd place, Professor X and Cyclops deserved higher spots.
