Oh she's enough powerful. There are different kinds of power, like there are different kinds of strength. Wonder Woman's strength is magical, so there's no need for muscles.
How muscular should she be?
@scorpio_cassadine: Maybe,but if a woman strength can help superman moved earth,i think a little muscle would be better
@powerwoman: I don't think she should look very strong just athletic. When she flexes she should look strong but other than that no.
@lilben42: at least like them,not too much muscle,but still look like very strong,for a woman
@powerwoman: that's way to much muscle.This is great

@no_trolling: Even they are is too much muscle?!i dont think so
you not know what is "too much muscle"
@powerwoman: those women look like their on steroids, can't have wonder woman being bigger than chris hemsworth
@scorpio_cassadine: Need a little muscle
@powerwoman: those women look like their on steroids, can't have wonder woman being bigger than chris hemsworth
why not?
You guys are into massive chicks huh?
maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe
@press_oblivion: girl would be stronger not weak,i like it
How come artist always forget the penis bulge on wonder woman? That's the part that needs to be bulked up.
I know, right?
seriously, why do you think muscle can't be feminine?
we've shown tons of pictures of feminine muscular ladies

None of that was femenine or lady like to me. NONE.
@drgnx: cant agree any more
nice
@drgnx: lol,WW should be have muscle!
@killemall: half and half then, she is no disney princess by any regard
I dont think she should be bulky, her strength is a gift from the gods as opposed to something she got by lifting weight. Not to mention, if you are too bulky you dont really look feminine, and she is supposed to be a godly princess.
Depends on how you look at it; I don't think many want her to have She-hulk body-type.
Superman, Power Girl, and Shazam; both have gifted strength and are bulky. Kryptonians, I believe is a result of their genetics. Shazam, is a magical transformation, I'm guessing his body could just be a mold (of sorts).
Wonder Woman has 2 versions, one was created from clay, in which case she is a mold and the muscles could have been like that at her creation, sort of like Shazam just having muscles. While the demi-god origin could be lucky genetics like Superman.
In the case she actually developed muscles after her birth/creation; when you consider all Amazons seem to do is train and probably eat the healthiest food on the planet, I say she could be muscular and very ripped. Amazons are supposed to be peak athletes and WW the alpha, so Imagine a sprinter/wrestler/boxer/long jumper/basketball player/etc .... all in one body.
I'd be happy to...ladies and gentlemen that's what you call "thickness".
She needs to be athletic looking but not muscle bound. Many artists make that mistake with Wonder Woman (Power Girk as well) where they try to rationalize a woman having super strength and end up making her very muscular and less feminine looking. I think the times Wonder Woman has been depicted best is when she has been shown to be tall and have fairly broad shoulders but she does not need to be super cut and defined. Also her strength is not her only weapon she also has extensive combat training so she is not as dependent on just raw physical power. Also as her powers are magic based or now divinely based so you could argue she does not need to look like a female body builder as her strength comes to her naturally.
"He strenght cames from magic..."
Yeah, but she still do training in the island frequently! She must be a little muscular!
I think all of these arguments have merit and what we're ultimately discussing here is one's personal taste in the female form juxtaposed to the incredible power that Wonder Woman wields.
My preference is for the Athletic body type. I feel that it helps to accentuate the legitimacy of the physical demands that a Superhero may encounter. True, in comics or any creative medium any body type given to a character is only limited by our imaginations and thusly a skeleton could have the power to smash planets together just as likely as Wonder Woman could.
There was some talk about Scarlet Johanson's portrayal of Black Widow in the Avengers film to this degree as well. While she is a beautiful woman she seemed a bit zoftig to believe that she could actually beat Hawkeye in that fight and pull off all of that acrobatic stuff. The presence of strength represented by muscles means that you are capable of greater physical feats.
Seriously? Her arms are almost twigs, as is the rest of her. Large breast do not equal muscle tone or an un-twigy physique in my opinion.
This is more what wonder woman should look like in a live action film in my opinion.
Yeah . . . .SERIOUSLY!
I just finished writing a whole statement about personal preference and then you go an make a comment like this, as if my opinion is any less than yours.
Denise Milani is a 1st place contestant in Pysique competitions. She's hardly a waif that you would find in couture fashion magazines. She's fit and firm and IN MY OPINION is the body type that I would like to see in any Wonder Woman lives action interpretation.
MY OPINION . . . SERIOUSLY!

YEAH, SERIOUSLY!
I think something like Pauline Nordin
I'm totally down with this too. Very compelling.
@press_oblivion: .....Wow. I wasn't trying to you insult you at all, relax man no offense was meant. Your post of that picture was on the first page and I hadn't read your second post post yet. Just chill.
@vortex13: Yeah I over reacted, my apologies . . . .
@vortex13: Athlete > Bodybuilder
waist too thin to be WW, and the bodybuilding thing was a d!ck move to her fanbase
@vortex13: Yeah I over reacted, my apologies . . . .
No, it's fine, I should have read the second page before I comented. And in retrospect the way I phrased my comment it wasn't the most polite way, even though I did not intend rudeness. But it's hard to read intent of statements on the internet so you were not really at fault. I should have been more clear and phrased it in a better way. My apologies as well. =)
I agree with that completely. I mean a women can have very well developed muscles with an athletic build while still looking feminine.
