lady Sif( she can fight pretty decently though) SIf hardily even has a relationship with Thor and she isnt even a bit jealous of jane and thor what's up with Jane who just says " thor is hot " , where is the Enchantess, where is Hella ( queen of the underworld) where is loki's enmormous orgor mother , and how many times are we going to have to see Loki?
Thor Marvel Movies, a bit sexist?
Disagree with that analysis. Sif showed jealousy of the Thor and Jane relationship in Thor 2. In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, her jealousy is brought up again by Lorelei.
As for Jane only saying "Thor is hot" is a pretty big absurdity. Sure she is a bit googly eyed....but had some actual plot moments in the film.
As far as female villains (and females in general) we got Lorelei in AoS and I would expect at least Valkyrie and/or Enchantress (and maybe even Hela) to make an appearance in the 3rd Thor movie which is supposed to be based on Ragnarok.
I think because there was a quick flash appearance of the realm of Muspelheim and/or Surtur.
Thor was the exact opposite of sexist in the second film. He acted like a giant vagina throughout. Very much in touch with his feminine side.
You know its thread like this that makes me hate the Internet
The internet is a great tool, it's the mouthbreathers who use it that are the problem.

Yeah , I heard about that too! I looked at the scene several times but I did not find surtur in musphelheim .
I thought the movie was NOT sexist, surprisingly. Jane was useful, she seemed almost more so than Thor. Thor did all the pouncing and pummeling but Jane saved the day. Sure Lady Sif didn't do a damn thing and I'm not a huge fan of Jamie Alexander, she's very very thin so you can say the casting was sexist because everything in Hollywood is.
@pastepotpete: how is that sexist
I never really liked any of the thor movies......too far away from the comics, tried going the original route, ended up with a 1 dimensional thor in a 1 dimensional setting.

thats cool that pac- man is ur favorite super hero :: thumbs up::

Ditto , have no idea what OP is talking about. I don't like the casting on Sif either she's to thin looking , I'd would've liked to see someone like Lucy Lawless cast as Sif, I know she is recognized for her Xena character with fans but I'd coulda overlooked that. The blue ray of Dark World has a cut out scene from the beginning battle that I feel they should have left in , but also should have had Sif standing at the front leading the battle more than they did. I hope the movie screen writers are watching History channels "Vikings" to get a better idea of what a shield maiden can do with a sword in her hands, I don't think they really know Lady Sif's reputation as a warrior or they don't use the opportunities they have had to demonstrate it to the movie going audience. Although I will say Sif did beat up the Destroyer in first Thor movie fairly well.
I agree whole heatedly no longer is it PC to have a man save a women they have to be able to save themselves.
No longer is it correct to have men acting any other way then a women. No differences between the sexes and character has become a myth more so then Thor himself or if we are to believe the hype one day herself.
So many sad things about TV and movies and soon comics. The hero gone and just a bad memory of one that was here. Then only if you remember the Thor of old or even any hero of old. Will they ever return I have to wonder , Thor is not about power but about Character he and his father at odds because he cared to defend the people of Earth. He could be in both places but Odin did not feel the same. The only one character I do not like is Jane she seems to forced where as Sif a character that has been in Thor's life far longer and has had his back far more is hardly even noticed.
In a age when people are having problems getting gas money gender is not the problem with sales.
Many of fans are just a pay check away from losing houses and so fourth and the only avanue to our hero is the movies.
Lower the price of comics.
Show the country that in this time of tight budgets that the Marvel story writers the definitive creator of our heroes can have a heart and help the pocket of those fans. Whom would love to support the industry.
Somebody said nobody cares what the fans think?
Maybe they should start.

I would have to say why?
They live far longer and our life would be but a blink and gone , not the first time a women has been in the arms of Thor or somebody in the eye of Sif.
We want to see things and make it so much more then what it would be and change things so much they warp the true potential that is before us. Maybe just maybe what Sif and Thor would share would be a bond far more trusting and far more enduring then anybody can see because it is like looking at one star in a eye that is a atom in the eye of god. You just cannot fathom the depth.
That or I need to go fishing and relax and drink more ale..
What we find important to Thor may be just a passing thought or Sif must a minor thing on the road to becoming a bigger player in life.
Maybe and this is just a thought. Maybe they do not let the little things effect them as we do because our lives are so short.
When you look at things like that somebody coming up and using the hammer of Thor even if for 100 years does not look to harsh. Just when he would need it I would pitty them ... Hey where Mjolnir go? Um Thor needed it lol.
Life ? Big picture or little picture or video in 3D just be glad your in the picture at all.
