Thor: God of Thunder Discussion Thread

I want the final part, now.

IMO the god killer is Thor

I can't wait for the final issue to come out. I must know what happens! This, so far, is my favorite new book of Marvel NOW.

I can't wait for part five. This is easily the greatest thing Marvel has going (that I've read. I refuse to read Any Avengers or X titles, and my comic store doesn't have Journey Into Mystery. Which sucks). It has been awesome in very way, and I'm sad this story will end next issue.

I was afraid to read it at first but the TGOT is a great read, its an interesting look at the Gods and putting them on a more mortal scale with them being afraid and the scene with Thor begging for death really got me into it. I can't wait to see what happened in that cave that pushed Gorr to do what he's doing.

This story line is epic, definitely befitting the God of Thunder! I love seeing Thor at different stages in his life.

Young Thor with the vikings is great, and it's interesting to see a more vulnerable side of him. Current Thor is noble and awesome. Old King Thor is just a badass.

@Walker696: Yer, what thor wanted to die it was really powerful, when he called his hammer and said " for Asgard" and just slumped onto his knees. :(

Haha yeh, the life of a god. I find it interesting to see him in these positions, it really brings out his character and depth to his personality.

@Selinaky: Defiantly , Especially since he answered a prayer - he has never done that before.

I really like that they have focused solely on Thor so far, without Odin, Loki etc. I hope the other Asgardians and such are introduced later on though.

I wonder is there/will there be a love interest for Thor at all?

Are they trying to make Gorr the new arch nemisis of Thor? If they are then it is a really good decision.

I was looking for this thread. Must of missed it.

Anyway, am I the only one who though #5 was the best issue so far? I loved it.

@Pyrogram: Haha, yeh I liked that part too. Loved this issue, especially the scene with the vikings. Gorr is a badass villain, I'm looking forward to his origin next issue.

Am amazed that each issue continues to expand and build on the momentum garnered from pervious issues. I am continuing to enjoy and be fascinated by Gorr and happy with how Thor is characterized and portrayed. Love the part where Gorr traveled to the past and his plan. Just very cool and epic issue.

I loved the new issue, now I need to read the next one.

Hm need to see more of Gorr's power really, but considering he's killed a lot extremely powerful beings, I think he'd have a fair shot at beating the Hulk.

And for Marvel's writers, the stronger is the better fighter. From my point of view, it's like saying : the ones who can

bench press the most are the better fighters... It's totally absurd!!!
