Rune King Thor Help?
@jeanroygrant:
He defeated Those Who Sit Above in Shadow, including teleportation within a dimension (while even Odin could not), to Valhalla, Surtur's realm, and the Fates at the World Tree, Destroy a Mjolnir copy and channel it's energy into a magical force blast sufficient to destroy two demons simultaneously, unleash a wave of mystical energy strong enough to best Loki armed with a duplicate of Mjolnir, destroy the rebuilt Valhalla and slay numerous Rock Trolls in seconds, raise circular energy shields bordered by runes to block formidable blows of Mangog, see even without physical eyes and remove Loki's head without quenching his life.

How powerful do you think he is skyfather, elder god ect?

Oh ok
Now that you know you should get a mod to lock this thread.
Lol why?
He is, bar none, the most powerful version of Thor there is. Imagine classic Thor. Now include the Odin force. Now include the power afforded him through his thorough understanding of the Runes. I would say Rune King Thor is on par with Galactus in power. There isn't much this version of Thor CAN'T do.
Thor Disassembled or Avengers Disassembled Thor I put same link in, for both - its the end arc, of the second series of Thor. Basically the last two or three issues. Its a great read for a Thor fan.What series was Rune King Thor in? I just recently read the Chaos War series and Daredevil's Shadowland series (DD went beast mode lol).
These issues, for visual reference.
In terms of power, think of what he did in the Disassembled arc. He was powerful enough to stop the endless cycle of Ragnorak...he stopped "Those Who Sit Above in Shadow". Odin knew of their existence and was unable to stop the cycle of Ragnorak. Although the level of power it took to, in essence, over power them is debatable, it is probably reasonable to assume their combined power was well above Odin.
So in terms of over all level of power for Rune King Thor? Certainly, the most powerful sky father of all. I had previously said Rune King Thor could beat Galactus. Maybe not.
But I don't think it's a stretch to say that he would present a legitimate threat to Galactus.
@grevous11: Indeed. Classic Thor has confronted Galactus, as did Odin recently confront a hungry Galactus.
Yeah, Rune King Thor is not too far from Galactus. And all his feats in Disassembled certainly suggest as much. I mean, did he ever even exert himself...at all?...during the whole story line? I shudder to think what an angry, aggressive Rune King Thor is capable of.
@grevous11 said:
@Malevolent1 he didn't look like he was exerting himself at all. Even against TWSA he just seemed a little ticked and they seemed terrified of him.
Which means he could probably take on Galactus.

@god_spawn: @ReVamp:
What the heck is Gos? And regular Thor could take on Galactus, seeing how Rune King is more powerful than Standard Thor, I see RKT as a threat.
m99
@ReVamp: LOL
@majestic99: Yeah, that makes perfect sense. You know how Odin really did awesome against a drooling Galactus with a headbutt. I mean he did such a good job that he knocked himself but did nothing to Galan. So sure, it makes sense RKT could handle him too.

Nothing.
Still don't get it, was it supposed to be a joke?

Not talking about Odin, I said how standard Thor fought Galactus.

@majestic99: I know, but you obviously fail to see the point.
That Galactus could easily defeat RKT? I already got your point, and disagree with it.

@majestic99: RKT hasn't done anything to warrant he can beat Galan.

If standard Thor could take Galactus, RKT could because he's more powerful than standard Thor.

@majestic99: He flew through a starving Galactus' head when he wasn't paying attention. That isn't a fight, that is a cheap shot in a poorly written story and not impressive since other people have broken through Galactus' helmet. The only other time Thor even did something was a godblast that sent yet again a starving Galactus away. I'd say you SHOULD know better than to say Thor can stand a chance against a regular Galactus since you want to be such a huge Thor fan, but I guess you stepped over that boundary. RKT doesn't make it any different, a regular Galactus would manhandle either or version of Thor.

Standard and RKT are two different power levels. You're right, I"m a huge Thor fan, but I never said it had to be a regular Galactus Thor would stand a chance against.

@jeanroygrant: I have been thinking about whether to ask this or not cuz i thought it might be a stupid question. So how powerful would rune king thor be with warrior madness?
I don't think Rune King Thor could go Warrior Madness.
Rune King Thor is virtually Omniscient and can definitely challenge Galactus but I don't think he can beat him. He also has almost infinite control over time.

They never showed his full power, but i hope they do someday.
@jeanroygrant: They never showed Thor to access the power of The Runes again after Ragnarok. They should. Maybe not against normal opponents but surely against cosmic threats.
I would just like to make a quick point, if RKT was able to blast the so called 'Gods of Gods' into oblivion then Im sure he could at least face off against Galactus? I'm not saying RKT would beat him, but would at least give him a pretty good fight.
@lanebad6 The Rune Power seems to have unknown limits, this is shown by how Thor was much more powerful than his father, Odin, ever was but they never showed the true extent and limits of this power. End of the day, it's anybodies guess, but seeing how Thor broke the cycle of Ragnarok which not even the all-father could do shows maybe a glimpse of this power. Hopefully Thor will one day touch upon this power in a time of need, and soon.
