Because I keep hearing that he is and im just curious. Does anyone have a scan of him doing so or at least claiming that he is one?
Is Thor a solar system buster?
Thor destroyed Yggdrasill
Yggdrasill: the world tree, is a giant ash supporting the Nine Worlds. One of its roots extended into Hel and Niffleheim, the underworlds; another into Jotunheim, land of the giants; and the third into Asgard,home of the immortal gods. At its base were three wells: Urdarbrunnr (Well of Fate), from which the tree was watered by the Norns (the Fates); Hvergelmir (Roaring Kettle), in which dwelt Nidhogg, the monster that gnawed at the tree’s roots; and Mímisbrunnr (Mimir’s Well), source of wisdom, for the waters of which Odin sacrificed an eye. After Ragnarök, the world tree, though badly shaken, was to be the source of new life
If the solar syatem is in the same realm of mid-guard... then he destroyed far more that that.

I see.

No. Not in regular standards. But Odin said in warrior madness he has the potential.
Odin never said Thor was solar a system buster, and he's not. Odin is though.
@Pyrogram said:
@ThunderGodsWrath: He did....Odin said if he ever turned Warrior madness forever ( hence the madness ) it would be a danger to the universe and Odin would have to put him down or something.
That doesn't mean he can destroy a solar system. Thanos is a threat to the universe, but he is only a multy planet buster at best.

Does Yggdrasill hold the worlds or do they just hold the portals into the different worlds? And I'm referring to strickly marvel lore, not the actual norse lore. And when did thor destroy Yggdrasil in the marvel comics?

when did thor do that
the "warrior's madness" is just Thor in a berserker-fury, adrenalized strength, striking to kill anything within his sight.

@ThunderGodsWrath: @Z3RO180: Thor can't destroy 8 planets and a star?
Nope, not even close. He can destroy 1 planet. He also can probably destroy 1 star. 8 planets, and 1 star would take a Skyfather level being or higher to do. While Thor is high herald level.

@ThunderGodsWrath: Odin is a multiple galaxy buster, maybe a 25% of universe buster. Thor is a 3-4 planet buster.
Odin at best can only destroy 1 galaxy. I'm not even sure if he can do that. 25% of the universe? Naa. Many galaxies make a universe. Thor is a planet or star buster at best.
@Epicbeast3000 said:
@ThunderGodsWrath: Odin in his fight with Seth, destroyed multiple galaxies, and shook the fabric of the multiverse. I think that is a bit more than one galaxy. Maybe no 25% of the universe, but multiple galaxies at the least.
I don't recall him destroying multiple galaxies.

@ThunderGodsWrath: In their battle many galaxies were destroyed as a side effect of their power.
Agreed.

It could have been 1 galaxy at a time.

Still they were destroying galaxies.

I guess.
@boostergold321: Indeed, Thor's hammer is enchanted by Odin. But what I meant was that Thor could use Mjolnir's energy absorption powers and absorb a huge amount of energy, e.g. the Null Bomb, which was able to destroy an entire galaxy. After absorbing such power, he could then amplify it and release it towards a galaxy. But then again, that wouldn't be Thor's power, it would be the power of the Null Bomb.
JA!!! Odins beard nay Thor is not a solar system buster, he can destroy multiple planets yes, but not a solar system
@mjolnirson: Odin is. When Thor inherits his power, so will he. RKT could destroy more than that by the fact that he is FAR more powerful than a full powered Odin. People seem to forget that the power is an addition. When Odin dies, his power is added to Thor's. (Not mentioning that Gaea's power is t even being counted here either) Then you add the Runes to Odins power which is added to Thors.......you have a truly fearsome and pretty much unstoppable beast. I mean OKT was beating the tar out of Galactus on his own.
So Thor is a treebuster?

Well you are talking about OKT and RKT that is another level and they are a universal threat... Young Thor and Normal, Standard or current (call it as you want) Thor will never destroy a solar system, he busted multiple planets with his shockwaves but that is all.
I don't like all these "Buster" designates .
Too often, they become the sole criteria examined when determining the outcome of a battle.
The individual counts too, and sometimes, one with somewhat less power can overcome a stronger foe.
Otherwise, it's just:
"oooh...so you're only a Universe Buster? Well smarty-pants, I'm a Multi-verse Buster, so nyah nyah!"
That's what gets me -- throwing around "Only" haphazardly.
Someone can "Only" destroy a Universe(!).
"Oh, so-n-so is a City Buster?? Big deal, what-siz is a County Seat Buster! Curb Stomp!!!"
"Wha...no way can *** win! He is only a Living Room Buster, and **** is a friggin' Garage Buster!!!"
Anyway, yeah.
