Has Odinson should up at all in the new Thor comic ?

Just finished issue 1 and noticed that Jane and Frigga don't know where he is. So since Hyperion is back I guess that Thor is also back and is worthy again.

Why would Thor's return and worthyness be dependent on the presence of Hyperion?

@outside_85: well short version, Thor and Hyperion went into the multiverse to find out why it was dieing and fought the byonders and presumably died. Hyperion how ever had shown up in squdren supreme and is confirmed as hickmans Hyperion from his avengers run before SW started. Thor at time was useing a version of Mjolnir that only the unworthy could use, but during the fight Thor became worthy again after saving Hyperion from a byonder before they fight an army of them. Over all it's a solid issue and you should check it out.

Odinson hasn't showed up yet.

No Odinson hasn't shown up at all in Aaron's 3rd Thor volume in the space of 2 years. He's only been mentioned and referenced in name only, nor does it mean Aaron will be following up on what Hickman did with Thor at the end of his Avengers run. There's only been teases in the letter columns about some Odinson news coming with a classic creator attached to it. Plus, for all we know, being worthy of Ultimate Thor's hammer, which ended up in the new Marvel Prime Universe after Ultimate Thor threw it away before his supposed death, might be different than being worthy of the original Mjolnir.

@lvenger: it would be kinda lame for Aaron not to follow up or at least mention it, cause it was pretty awesome. I think it's safe to assume that this new earth is earth 616 and that all the characters are the same apart from the ones from other universes.

@z3ro180: Yeah this is pretty much the same as Earth 616 only with some Ultimate and alternate characters included but Breevoort is insistent on this Marvel universe being called the Prime Marvel Universe. He's been very condescending on Twitter to those who say this is still the 616 universe and should still be called the 616 universe.

It wasn't Ultimate Thor's hammer he used, it was Thorr's hammer that you needed to be unworthy to use and then in the end he couldn't lift it signifying in his last moments he was once again worthy.

Thor needs Mjolnir and quick. He's gotta kill his cheatin' ex gf

@jonny_anonymous: My bad, my post makes it sound like I'm not aware of that distinction I'm guessing? Yes I was aware that Thorr's hammer was the one Thor was using which required unworthiness to be lifted rather than worthiness. And that Thor became worthy again when he couldn't lift the unworthy hammer before his death. I was trying to say that I'm not sure Aaron would purposefully follow up on or even care about this moment in Hickman's Avengers run. Primarily because if Thor is actually worthy again, it makes Jane's possession of Mjolnir seem more worthless than it already is.

Oh my bad, I confused myself. Well they do have two Caps now so I wouldn't be surprised if they ran with two Thors.

My guess is he will pop up at some point since he was in that promo spread prior to the most recent relaunch. Probably be right before whatever summer event comes down the pipelines.

I did hear Aaron say in an interview on CBR that would have Thor show up again. Allegedly in a "big" way as well. While I wouldn't mind seeing the real God of thunder be restored in some capacity, I'm taking Aaron's statement with a truckload of salt. Because the same man who is promising this "big" return for Thor is the same man who put him in the predicament that he's in right now.
