I thought that was actually rather poignant twist, because it speaks of Heimdall's character, not his physical appearance. Its like how Volstagg is the Lion of Asgard and yet a commoner could joke and say "the Lion of Asgard? More like the Hippo of Asgard lolz" but then be overtaken by Volstagg's ferocity loyalty and sheer manliness. Then again Hippos kill more people in Africa each year and have quite a formidable reputation.
I dislike the current version of Thor, he has been depowered to such an extent that even wolverine can put up a good fight against him and he is being potrayed as a dumb brute who only knows how to swing his hammer. *sigh* who else want classic thor back?
@TheGoldenOne: I'm really enjoyin Aaron's Thor, I cannot wait for the next issue. I love that it focuses on Thor's character, without Loki, Odin etc (for now anyway), and that the story involves Godly matters.
@Pyrogram: I've been thinking about that since the images first hit the web,months back! When you think about it though, when you look through a camera the images will appear as if you were looking directly at them in person, or so I think.

@ThunderGodsWrath: Well the guy Thor just tossed with Mjolnir has the starbrand. Making him an infinity gauntlet level foe. So Thor surviving an direct shot like that so easily is very impressive. An just the side effects of the attack messed up Ironman's latest armor and Cap's shield.

Let me ask you this, do you think it would matter to Batman fans if they had the wrong side of Harvey Dent's face aka Two-Face burned in both of his movie appearances ? Well I'm a Huge Thor fan and things like that matter to me, I don't personally care if it matters to you, but it matters to me. It's a distinct feature, movie adaptation or not, it's something they should get right if they care about the character,and is why it does matter clearly! we take Thor seriously around here, even if you don't
