Why would you number multiple titles from multiple time-lines who have no connection :P Plus for doing that you will have to reprint the old trades and most of them haven't even gone out of stock.
There are also some more problems. The New 52 numbering happened because it was still fresh and easy to do. And a good idea I might add.
