Man of Steel Sequel Titles - Thoughts?

So I haven't noted anything on the forum about this yet so I thought I'd put it up and get thoughts.

According to some rumors milling about the following have been registered as domain names, possibly hinting at the title choices for the upcoming Superman/Batman flick.

Man of Steel Battle the Knight

Man of Steel Beyond Darkness

Man of Steel Black of Knight

Man of Steel Darkness Falls

Man of Steel Knight Falls

Man of Steel Shadow of the Night

Man of Steel The Blackest Hour

Man of Steel The Darkness Within

So - assuming this is a trustworthy rumor and we can look forward to one of these titles - what would you like to see? Personally, I like the Idea of Man of Steel Knight Falls. I like the play on words - the obvious hint about Batman and the nod to Batman: Knightfall. I also like the fact all these possible titles have it clearly as a Man of Steel sequel, and not just a cross-over/team-up movie. They all sound more interesting than simply "Superman vs Batman" or "Batman vs Superman".

Although I will admit - my all time favorite title suggestion is still:

Shadow of the Night or Darkness Falls. The rest are crap.

Ahhh - in the Batman forum... I rarely venture into there... I make it a point to avoid fanboyism that will annoy me, and only express mine in an appropriate forum.

Man of Steel: The World's Finest or World's Finest, depending on how the movie is balanced.

I've done that on other forums - but on here there's just so many things happening I just jump into the specific forums that interest me. That way I'm not seeing things about X-men or Spider-Man or Batman - unless I specifically want to. Of course yeah - it's logical I'll miss out on some threads that I might have otherwise been interested in.

No it wasn't. Thats just a placeholder title.

Batman vs Superman is the worst title idea ever, seriously. It can be counted amongst classics like Freddy vs Jason and Alien vs Predator.

That title highlights what should literally be the smallest part of the film.

I didn't actually notice that there was the Man of Steel: Knight falls one. But I still hope that its World's Finest!

Do we really need this Man of Steel: Darkest Night of the Shadow of the Fallen Black Knight crap? It sounds like a bad fan art poster title.

I really don't give a flying f*ck about the title as long as it's not Batman vs Superman or something trait forward like that. None of these titles are terrible, I don't get whats so bad about them.

@fallschirmjager: not sure it's a physical issue. Think about the set up. The idea is he's an over 40's Batman, so he's been doing this for about 20 years - that's a long time to be fighting the good fight in a place like Gotham, and I that time he's probably been through he'll and back, I'm thinking it's a psychological thing where he just doesn't want to keep doing it, but at the same time, can't just give up. I mean, he was Batman for only about a year's worth in the Nolan trilogy then just gives up (one of my many gripes with TDKR). If they're using this "real world" approach, I think it's an interesting idea, BUT, the inclusion of droids instantly undermines the "real world" setting of the film IMO.

At the end of the day we just have to wait and see - could just be a red herring, bit of truth mixed in with a non truth. Or it may be exactly what they do and it might Suck (or they might make it awesome). I'm tipping either way we're both going to go see it opening weekend.

I personally don't think he will be semi-retired or using drones. That's purely a guess! I just don't think that's what they will go for. They have confirmed he will be seasoned and wearied and I think they will go with this as being a result of his obsession with his war.

Seems like it's happening to me. Unless as I said it's an intentional red herring.

Sorry, I meant that I was just guessing that it wasn't true. And just so you know he isn't the producer on this film, just a producer for WB. Seems like an odd thing to say though unless you know for certain, so who knows?

@thebhramabull: oh ok, yeah I know he's just a WB producer, but it would be odd to tweet that without there being truth to it.
