Is the Superman in JL 3000 a descendent of Clark Kent ?
Justice League 3000 - Superman
Is the Superman in JL 3000 a descendent of Clark Kent ?
They don't even released the first issue how should we know
@black_arrow: Cause you should know
Watched a video of a guy who read the book already so
SPOILERS
The team are all clones made by Cadmus,with none of the originals memories and issues with their powers.
@stephens2177: well....that is disappointing.
@stephens2177: You didn't actually spoiler block like this or
this
@knightrise: hey what I'm using to post on here is so bad I can't even post pics on here.
But I did give spaces and say SPOILER

That sounds really dumb. Batman doesnt even have powers, why even clone him? Without his memories and motivations, he's just a guy.
@deaditegonzo: They did the same thing in Batman beyond. I forget the explanation/excuse they had for it

Bro I understand but that space barely helps. The spoiler is still in one's field of vision when they read SPOILER try something

like this I guess
@peppeyhare: I liked it better in the first season, when it was all coincidence. That clone shenanigans never set well with me.
@knightrise: yeah I noticed that after I posted.
I'm just amazed they are doing a adult interpretation of the original Kon's origin,or a pseudo version anyway.
@knightrise: So are they decendent a or clones ?
if the crime syndicate and JL 3000 exist on the same timeline or planet, then wouldn't DC have to do another crisis to change continuity?

Originally they wanted perfect clones, memories and all, but they ended up getting flawed ones.
@drgnx: In that 1st picture, they all look stupid...except for GL. My opinion of course. :P
Flash needs a better costume. Batman looks like he is sitting on an invisible toilet, yet Superman is the one who looks constipated. Wonder Women looks like she is doing a ginyu force pose.
The point was, however, that this team line-up mimics that of the classic crime syndicate :)

clones
@jonny_anonymous: Ok well is the issue any good ?
@jonny_anonymous: Ok well is the issue any good ?
I thought it was kinda boring my self also for it being the far flung future there wasn't much advanced tech shown.
@jonny_anonymous: Is superman a least called something other than Clark ?
@jonny_anonymous: Is superman a least called something other than Clark ?
Batman refers to him as Kent just to wind him beacuse Supes says "Clark Kent" was a fiction and only Superman was real
@jonny_anonymous: I'm k with Kent but havering Supes 300 being called Clark Kent just seems lazy. Yes he is a clone but besides that he is his own character and need his own name....and am S shield that doesn't look like an 8.

Yea but all of the characters think they are the orginals also you could call him Captain Douche as thats how he acts.
@jonny_anonymous: Captain Douche ?!....I LIKE IT

makes more sense than cloning Hal Jordan, like just because he's still Hal Jordan he'll get a green lantern ring?

Because he has will power that is way.
That's Wally
That's not Hal
Bruce,Tim,or Damian
Betcha that's Donna,all amazonined up
And superman is a exact adult copy of what superboy was like when he forts escaped from Cadmus back in 1993.the atitude(horn dog,and ego),skater hair,flawed kryptonian powers,no real memories,but still calling himself superman,even making a pint that he wasn't raised by the Kent's is from the first issue superboy was in during the reign of the supermen.
I wouldn't be half surprised if we don't find out he is flying because of his TK,and has super senses from his TTK.
@stephens2177:
Um no JL 3000 #1 says all their names in the issue. It's:
Batman = Bruce Wayne
Superman = Clark Kent
Flash = Barry Allen
Wonder Woman = Diana
Green lantern = Hal Jordan
They are all clones of the original Justice league in present time. Though they are all flawed clones, their memories don't match up, their personalities are different and parts of their powers don't work. Superman doesn't have heat vision and Flash can't move too fast or he'd be burned alive from friction.
@omega_man_: lol,and you believe that? It's obvious we are being set up for a switcheroo.the writers already told us they were gonna lie to us for awhile.not to mention these characters don't act anything like the originals at all.
I'm not saying my list is gonna be right,it's probably very very wrong,but I don't believe for a second that they are who they appear to be now.
Oh and if you look at them Barry looks like Wally,Hal acts like Kyle,they are clues.
My guess is still crime syndicate,but I wish it would be my above list
That sounds really dumb. Batman doesnt even have powers, why even clone him? Without his memories and motivations, he's just a guy.

They have most of their memories. Not all of them, not even close, but they have the majority, though they're missing a few key points. Like Superman 3000 doesn't remember being raised by the Kents. Batman 3000 doesn't remember his parents dying. However, Hal remembers what it's like to wield a ring, and complains about the cloak being different.
And the idea behind the team was that they were five of the greatest heroes of their time: So why not bring them back? Hal wasn't cloned just because he was a Green Lantern, he was cloned because he was Hal Jordan, a hero of significant renown and a key member of the Justice League. And I'm not entirely sure he IS a Green Lantern, ring and all. He makes a statement about his cloak being different from the ring, as noted above, so perhaps that green cloak of his simulates the effect of the Ring and he's just using the name.
Decided to give this title chance and read the first issue…
This chance was wasted. I am not going to buy this title.

It could be just art, but I think that current New-52 Superman has different face structure than this Superman 3000. Maybe he actually hybrid clone (probably Super’s DNA was spliced with Guy Gardner’s one, if we judging from behavior).
