I recall seeing some posts saying this, and the latest Justice League cover just seemed Silver Age esque to me.

That isn't exactly what I would call solid evidence :-P
Anyway, no New52 Supes is a by-product of every previous form of the character.

I wouldn’t say that; in Superman titles he got some elements from GA back, true, but mostly New 52 is the product of all DC eras combined IMO.

That cover is awesome!

To answer your question though, no, the new 52 is not like the silver age at all. Unlike the Silver Age vs Post-Crisis there was no noticeable style change to speak of yet. To me, the new 52 is just a more accessible post-crisis.

No way. At least not in terms of stories. Read a few typical Silver Age stories. They are absurd.

Your typical Silver Age Superman story has super advanced Cavemen from the planet Kroll travelling to Earth blah blah or Superman using his heat vision to create a mirage of Clark Kent in the distance so that Lois doesnt guess his secret identity or something. They have a certain ridiculous charm which is why a lot of writers post-90s have tried to bring elements of that back to the modern era with varying levels of success.
