That Chris Evans has, like, an amazing voice for Superman. If he had never played Cap, which I'm supremely happy he did, he would have been a perfect voice actor for him. I hear his voice when I read Superman.
Does anyone agree...
I like Henry's voice, I've seen enough of his range to know he can pull of Kal and I know he knows how to be charismatic and make funny quibs.
My two favorite scenes in MoS was the scream Henry did after he killed Zod and the Daily Planet scene where Clark and Lois are trying to act like this is there first encounter with each other and Henry can't suppress his smile.
I just wish he would be allowed to be himself instead of the guy Snyder directs him to be. He's a perfect Superman, too bad he's wasted on Hack Snyder.
I like Henry's voice too. Deeper but not too deep.
Chris voice in the First Avenger was perfect. He was a little boyish squeal but clearly an adult. Great for a man-child that Cap was in the first movie. Man-child as in someone who is idealist/optimistic despite the physical abilities or the daunting task. If Naruto was a movie Chris voice works. His look too.
I had forgotten all about that movie!...Jaime's got a GUN!
@pperspectiveandreality: Janey Briggs' got a gun...
Can’t say anything about this topic; always watched only dubbed Marvel movies.
Though agree with people who said that they like Cavill’s voice.

Snyder is a hack?
@farkam: yes.
@farkam: yes.
How so?
@superguy1591: to quote Evans as Cap
Son, just don't.
@farkam: His movies never have any heart or emotional depth. They're usually just mindless action movie with me not really caring about the characters.
In MoS, if he wasn't Superman, I wouldn't have cared if he lived or die. He is great with visuals, but I need to fall in love with the characters too.
His work reminds me of Superman Unchained. It's visually stunning, it's got Superman being powerful, it asks questions about Superman in a large scale but both Snyder's have yet to make me care about Lois, the villain or anyone else.
I need my Superman in line with Pak and Johns. In two issues, I already care about Johns' Ulysses than I care about the Snyders' Supermen or their antagonist.
If MoS had Superman just care as much as he did for Lois as he did everyone else, I would've loved it, but he saved Lois so much and never stopped and thought about anyone else.
In BvS, I need him to take time out of fighting and just emote with someone else. I don't like Grant Morrison's writing, but when he did All-Star with Superman fighting a giant robot but stopping to be there for someone, it made me say "wow".
@bsaa: you're not my real dad, Steve! My dad said I didnt have to listen to you.
I always read Superman with Tim Daly's voice in my head (He's the voice of Superman from Superman TAS.)

The voice actors on Superman TAS were top notch... and nothing else. Oh yeah, I went there
I don't think he can pull off the Clark kent side. He's got the superman side down but not Clark. I think Henry Cavil is easily one of the best portrayals of superman and Clark kent. Can't wait to see his future performance.

I didn't like it either. Specially not compared to Batman TAS, Spider-Man and The X-Men, which were broadcast at around the same time...
I like Daly's way more than Newborn's. Newborn sounded too soft IMO.
