Do you guys think it'll happen? If so, how will they revive him. I used to think in such a situation they could launch him to the sun, but that's not possible. So now I think it'll be some form of yellow sun radiation pod-like device.
Do you think Doomsday will appear in the MOS trilogy?

I state in the links above that Superman should die in the movies. In a perfect world I would like for him to die in a JL movie and return later on.
As for the dying bit I mention in the Animated Series Map that I would like Lex Luthor to have something to do with reviving SUperman.
@saint_wildcard: Yeah, I remember I liked that idea. Who else but Lex would theorize the yellow sun would bring him back?

I like this idea. Doomsday should be in it and kill him off, and bring him back later, like you said. that'd put DC a point ahead of Marvel, but this probably won't happen for a few more years.
I would like to see it. But the fight would have to take somewhere other than metropolis. Because we all know how well received that was, don't we?
I wouldn’t mind against Doomsday as a final boss in the last MOS movie (through I doubt that he will appear).
Something like that: Superman defeats his strongest enemy, saves humanity but it seems like he dies as a result of fight. Then, in last minute of the movie, its shown to us that Lex starts his program on researching Kryptonian DNA (hinting on Superboy) and in FoS Kelex initiating some healing sequence (possible “resurrection” of Superman). You know, open ending with possibility of sequel.
Who says it's a trilogy? Why can't they just make sequels for as long as they appeal to people regardless of how many movies that equals?
Honestly, I think that ever since they made the Lord of the Rings movies, people have just been obsessed with the word "trilogy" and are calling everything a trilogy when they really aren't.
@kilowog52: I just assume so. Cavill won't be able to maintain his physique forever.
@w3bst3r: tell that to stallone and Arnold
@saint_wildcard: Lol true. They could always just pad his costume too I guess. It's really up to Cavill, he's Superman now. I doubt he'll be able to land any other serious role, it's the curse of Superman typecasting. Also, does this Superman age?
@w3bst3r: he got a lead role in a spy movie based on an old tv show. I hope he gets more roles but he doesn't leave us after 6 movies
Cavill won't be able to maintain his physique forever.
I don’t think that age is a problem in our time, just remember Bruce Willis in “Surrogates”.
I doubt he'll be able to land any other serious role, it's the curse of Superman typecasting.
But there wasn’t “Superman”- word in the movie’s name, so maybe Cavill wouldn’t became the newest victim of Superman’s curse :)
