I like Kitty Pryde in the number one spot because she's so quintessentially X-Men—she grew up into adulthood in the X-Men and is now the de facto headmaster—but nightcrawler and beast? Step back. A case could be made for beast but I'm sorry nightcrawler, no. Wolverine, Storm and Cyclops should be higher.
Well this is MARVEL's official list and it was taken from insiders as well as fans alike, so it should be respected based on that alone. Besides STORM definitely has the resume that makes her deserving of being above the likes of scott and logan.
@citizenbane: I guess marvel would say yes to all those questions. I don't agree with her being number one just happy storm beat out Jean scott and logan
@jhazzroucher: yea I agree the list looks good when u consider she has been wallpaper for much of 2000s and even so now in the flagship title this is impressive. I always thought she wuld be in top 5 anyway so this list is beyond acceptable seiin she beat Cyclops and logan.. I think storm fans should be happy
@risingbean: no you are reading that list completely wrong. storm is number 4 and cyclops and wolverine tied for the number 5 spot. Recheck the link. Additional its ok if u think the list is a joke, marvel just doesn't agee with you PRAISES BE TO THE GODDESS
@squares: hmm because I want to.. u derail this topic by saying it exists already so now I'm simply calling you out.. the only thing I saw that was related to this was the xmen top 50 in the xmen forum which at the time I created this thread was talking about the list generally and only the characters listed between 50-11. My thread was the first that mentioned storms actual position. All other discussion beyond that was speculative. So again where else does this threaf exist in which the discussion is focused on her position as it relates to the list?

This kinda seems like jackassery, what's the definition anyways, popularity, or what they contribute to the x-men or what? I like cyke these days, not a huge fan but he's devoted his life to their thing. Seems like he should be one of the top two. Same with jean, even though she's a corpse and i'd like to wish her out of existence, she has a very interwoven part of the x-men. This poll seems whimsical. So my tops would be Sabretooth, Cable, and maybe Hope (and I know this choice will discredit my option in most people's eyes i think :)
