Is Storm the ultimate superheroine?

Storm is my favourite comic book character and I was thinking about her and I realised she has had quite a successful "career":

Most appearances in video games by a female

Most appearances in films by a female (maybe)

Most appearances in comics

These 3 "records" have yet to be broken! She is also an immensely popular and iconic character even without Marvel helping her or any X-Men with further merchandise -.-

With that aside she even has her own solo title and is the only female character eever in Comic Vine to top the superhero of the year list, which she did back in 2011! And you know she's a real G when she topped that list and didn't do much in 2011 ;)

I think she can be a great character, is amazingly beautiful, has done it all and is a real leader, which is more than I can say for other female characters except for wonder woman (she's awesome!)

What drew me to Storm in the first place was the fact that she was like me: African. She was so beautiful and powerful and the only black hero I really fell in love with. It's a great feeling to know she's more popular, successful and iconic than most heroines, except for wonder woman, catwoman and maybe jean grey!

There it is I expressed my love for the beautiful windrider. What do you gus think? Is she the ultimate superheroine?

Storm is in movies.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I respect that. I think Storm is the ultimate superheroine and some think Wonder Woman is which is totally fine and makes sense. Is there anyone else who is a contender for the title in your opinions?

This will come down to who posters favor and for me Storm is the ultimate superheroine, but for others that could be WW, Captain Marvel, Balck Widow, Jean Grey, etc for whatever their reasons are.

Soon WW would have a solo movie. That's not argument for Storm or WW.

The reality is that you may like Storm, but the title is Ultimate SH, so it's a character that has to be able to reach mainstream people. It's very nice for Storm to have hardcore fans. But they are too biased by definition. For the general population SH=male. Only exception to date: WW. It may change in the future because of the recent explosion of the CBM. But it's not the case yet.

I love that wonder woman is getting some love cuz she's great :), but damn not a lot of love for the goddess of the skies :(

I have limitless respect for Wonder Woman. And she is easily the first of the Great Super Heroines.

She would still rank right up there too, but i think its honest and accurate to say... she isn't as untouchable as she used to be. And many people would struggle to identify her as anything other than a Supes/Bats chick off-sider in a Justice League cartoon.

Storm, is MY ultimate Super Heroine. WW gets an honourable mention and mad respect in the list, but doesn't make my top 10. There are a lot of similarities between Diana and Ororo... its easy to see why comparisons between DCs trinity female and trying to find a Marvel counterpart usually point to Storm (or Invisible Woman or potentially lately Black Widow (damn those movies))

She's about as close to Wonder Woman as any Marvel heroine is gonna get....but she's still no Wonder Woman.
