OF Course she is an A-list Character!!!! Looks like the All-Mother Goddess will have many appearances in the Marvel Now era!!!

Storm remains one of the most notable female characters in Marvel, if not the most. its only recently that they have tried to replace her as their most notable. notice that emma frost has been pushed to the fore front, so has Rogue and even black widow while storm has been severely weakened compared to her past. I truly believe that the point is to weaken her image and character to turn new readers away from her. I refuse to give these writers excuses. it's either they dislike the character, don't know anything about them or have such shallow minds that they cant produce a proper compelling story to show case the featured characters properly.

She was an A-list character, but she has fallen off the radar. She needs a boost but she is still one the most recognized and popular characters.

If she was an A-list we would be discussing her solo title and not why she has never had one

I would call her a B list character due to popularity and recognition, she has devoted fans but if Ms Marvel (who I also would not call A list) has had multiple solos before her, that says a lot.

She certainly has the potential to be an A-lister, but that all depends on what Marvel does with her as they have done her no favors recently.

I think that holds true in some aspects. She did once beat Wonder Woman in a popularity contest and X-Men was the best selling comic for years most of which she was a leading the team. These days she isn't as central to either Marvel or the X-Men. Hopefully that changes in the near future.

This statement is very true unfortunately as well. I would say based on her popularity in the 90s she moved into the A-list category. However, if we are to look at how Marvel treats her it doesn't appear that they are interested and do in fact treat her more like something less than an A-list character.
