Do you think Alexandra Shipp will do a good job?

Maybe so. She has been doing some research on the character as of late so that seems somewhat promising. I just hope Singer/The Writers will give her good material to work with.

Definently not, they'll hide it by giving her only 3 lines anyway.

Singers casting hasn't let me down yet - so I have faith she'll do just fine if he trusts her enough to cast her in the role.

i hope she does a decent job, i'm lookin foward to seeing Sophie Turner as Jean grey.

It's not like Singer has a history of keeping the Black characters on screen--Storm, Bishop, or Darwyn. He does ove to co-opt Black culture though.

@jhazzroucher: Possibly thanks to Whitney Williams, but we need someone who looks true african, someone who is Storm's color in the book (not trying to discriminate) and speaks the accent as well.

I hope Alexandra will have good scripts and a good role.

Honestly, I think she will do a good job as Storm if the writers write her right. I think the films Alexandra Shipp was in just had poor writing and directing. I like what Bryan Singer did with Storm in X-men DOFP despite her being not a main character in the movie, I loved the power she displayed and I hope we get more of that and her as a main character since Singer is directing again.

Yeah, I hope Singer remembers that he wasn't able to show Storm's awesomeness in DoFP due to Halle's pregnancy but will for Shipp in X-men Apocalypse. I hope Shipp won't be pregnant. :)
