Flash and Wonder Woman still don't have movies -- so no, it is not time for Static to get a movie yet.

Static won't get a film before the likes of Flash, Wonder Woman ect

I don't think he could carry a movie, maybe an animated one but not a regular one.

After Justice League and before Teen Titans.

I'd love to see Static of the big screen. But let's wait till some of DC's other A listers get their own movies first *cough*wonderwoman*cough*

I could live without a Static movie

I would only like to see a Static movie if it was extremely well done with at least relatively well-known actors. Whoever would play Virgil/Static would have to pull off the character near perfectly. The story would have to be top notch with no cheesy dialogue.

Yes, but the only time people bring it up is if you race bend a white hero. People will say, "why don't you just make a Static move?" This is why. People are hypocrites.

Double post. What actors do you guys think should play the characters?

I would like to see it, but realistically, I think a successful solo ongoing is needs to be established first.

The new 52 ongoing would've been successful from the start had DC just let John Rozum be in charge of the book instead of Scott McF**ckup. Oh well, I heard rumors that DC might have something planned for Static in the future, hopefully it's true.

Personally, I don't think a movie is necessary. There are plenty more heroes out there that deserve a movie before Static. I'm a little biased though, I never liked the show, and from what I have been told, he has a pretty weak comic book.
