Why Doesn't Marvel Let Spider-Man have casual sex?

I get Marvel thinks Peter's a saint and is pure, but so is Dick Greyson and shags women every arc based on him. Also if Parker's supposed to be the representation of the normal guy, then why isn't he have so much sex as a guy his age supposed to do, he has better friendships with women than dudes that's for sure but writers keep insisting he stay clean giving off the impression he's either in the closet or really a guy who is asexual.
