Superior vs Amazing

Who would win that.

I guess we all ready have the answer to that over a long time. Thats why there is a Superior Spiderman now, I suppose.

Superior would win on paper...

But Amazing would win in our hearts

In a fight?

Peter would wipe Ock right the heck out.

More experience and better understanding of his powers.

Ock only has his lack of moral fiber going for him and that's no enough to get him a win at all.

Peter Parker still hasn't lost, and I can't allow myself to think Peter will lose to Otto.

Sure, Doc Ock makes good use of Peter's abilities. Only reason some of us think that Superior Spiderman would win is because he doesn't hold back, and isn't afraid to kick Wolverine's ass. Only reason a lot of us find some of Peter Parker Spider-Man's fights debatable has been because of his morality.

Just about most of Superior Spider-Man's feats accomplished here, Peter Parker is perfectly capable of them, he just doesn't do it because he's not immoral, and is overall a nice guy. While Ock is a vicious homicidal mad scientist by nature.

Personally, I believe that Peter would win this fight, it wouldn't be easy, but I think that he would come out on top. If they were both blood lusting and ready to kill each other, it would be an interesting fight. SpOck maybe brutal already and has no problem going all out, but if Peter had his morals off and went all out as well, then he'd kill SpOck in the end. Plus he know W.O.S. and SpOck no longer has Peters memories (at least not in his head, he can access them)

even if SpOck accessed Peters memories, Peter would still come out on top, SpOck wouldn't be as good as Peter in terms of fighting even with W.O.S. Although I do have to admit SpOck has better technology than Peter, but Peter isn't a fool. Though SpOck is in Peters body, we're still dealing with Doc Ock on the inside. Pete knows him extremely well and his beaten him numerous of times throughout the years, and although he is in Pete's body, ASM would still win in the end.

Amazing Spider-Man wins, I am not wrong.

Otto things he's to smart for his own good. He failed with his mechanical abilities and has Spider-Man. He lacks everything that makes Peter the hero he his.

Peter always beat him because unlike Otto Peter learns and evolves.

(Too bad Peter's suit doesn't evolve also)

Superior Spider-Man Wins!

They are both the same, but Superior is well... Superior to Amazing in terms of intellect.

Superior Spiderman: Otto is a perverted rapist who apparently carried roofies for a time and drugged Anna Maria's boyfriend and even thought about assaulting Mary Jane. Along with this, he is narcissistic with a superiority complex. He is shown to have very awkward fetishes with his actions and new style.

Amazing Spider-Man: Emo little whiny dude who acts like he is forever 15. Always sucks at everything and his Aunt has to whine and moan how he sucks. Never can get a girlfriend and sucks at life. He is only good at being spidey...and he screws that up too. A child that refuses to grow up and pretends to be an adult. Never lets go and always dwels on the past to an unhealthy extent.

Amazing Spider-Man RYV: Classic spidey who has progressed into a fatherhood stage. He is seen as one who balances his civilian life and hero life but his troubles tend to stem to a brand new world that his daughter will be exposed to, not to mention that his Wife has found a way to assist him in battles and won't take no for an answer. Still, Peter remains classic Peter. Funny, witty banter, smart, a bit unprepared, always caring and will go above and beyond. No strange sexual interests or emo drudgery here! The perfect personification of Spider-Man.

To me: Amazing does win, but only if it's RYV status. Let's face it guys, we ain't gettin any top quality when Slott is on the books.

Amazing clearly wins. Same physicals, more experience, higher intelligence. In fact, the upgraded Superior Spider-Man suit that Peter built is far more powerful than anything Ock has ever made.

Indeed. I've always seen villains or "heroes" killing as a hindrance. Killing is easy but fighting without taking lives shows incredible skill. Ergo a hero who doesn't kill like Spider Man or Batman are better than heroes who do like Wolverine or Punisher. And in this case Peter Parker Amazing Spider Man beats SpOck's Superior Spider Man, every time (except when Slott is making Ock kill Peter).

@ursaber: yeah, Peter has shown much greater levels of skill in being able to avoid taking lives by holding back his true power and yet still fighting powerful villains in his rogues gallery (like the Green Goblin, who incidentally destroyed Ock).
