Alot of these covers are meh though. See that's a problem with alot of topics not just relating to comics when something is better then something else people go with that even if in the specific topic the other thing is better. Alot of these covers were obviously picked because of how major it was in Spider-Man lore instead of how good the cover actually is. I think the cover from whe Gwen Stacy dies says that all.
Spider-Man's Best Covers
@silent_bomber: Damn, that's a cool reveal. SPOILER So in the end he never found out who it really was?
Spider-Man didn't find out who the Hobgoblin was for like 15 years!
It was one of the times in Spider-Man comics where they really fumbled the ball. The original mystery was written by Roger Stern, but he never revealed who the Hobgoblin's real identity was, or laid out a plan for subsequent writers to follow, the next writer took over from him and carried on adding clues and red herrings but he didn't resolve who the character was either, a third writer finished off the second writer's plotlines but still didn't reveal the Hobgoblin's identity, a fourth writer was then brought in and given one issue to wrap up all loose ends, reveal the Hobgoblin, and finally put the plot-line to rest, he had trouble making sense of all the "clues"
Also, the suspect that ended up being picked as the Hobgoblin (Ned Leeds) had recently been killed by another writer in an unrelated story, so they had to re-write the events of that story in flashbacks to make it about the Hobgoblin.
That's how it remained for 10 years (which was unfortunate as Ned Leeds didn't actually make much sense as the Hobgoblin, the guy was shown to have no super-strength, and he wasn't rich either), until the original writer, Roger Stern returned and finished the story.
Btw how do you do spoiler tags here?
Above the post body is a toolbar, highlight the text you want spoilered and click on "spoiler"
@amazingspiderman15: Hands down the superior Spider-Stan, YES!
@captainmarvel4ever: I'm really surprised we didn't see this one.
Amazing Spidey's Ramos cover shouldn't be on here, especially since it's got cross eyed Peter.
Agreed. I thought the cover was meh.
so agree. I don't know why that bad looking cover is included.
Because Comicvine likes getting exclusives from various publishers and their creative teams, especially the Big 2, so they'll occasionally promote what's going on now for them. Push the current company line, etc.

Totally. Marvel was all like, "IF YOU DON'T INCLUDE THIS COVER, WE'RE BREAKING UP." Even though we never even communicated with them about this feature. Or -- and far more likely -- I picked that one in explained why in the blurb.
easily these 2
@amazingspiderman15: Hands down the superior Spider-Stan, YES!

@supremehyperion: Love your choices. If we branched out from just ASM, it's very likely at least one of those would have been included.
