Just read the 4 page lettered preview of Daredevil #22, and it seems to indicate that Daredevil notices something is off with Spider-man and could result in him becoming suspicious of his identity, he even remarks on possible Mind Control.

Is that spider signal serious????? I'm seeing a trend... Batman is a genius and Ock is a genius, Cool inventions, gadgets, focus on planning, both costumed after scary creatures! So the plan is to combine the components of the 2 best selling titles and truly make a superior spider-man. Batman has been swinging around on the utility belt grapling hook thing for a while that was always very spidey-like. Alls fair in love and comics.

I didn't like the story he told with the end of ASM, but if he had stuck it out longer and not dangled the return of Peter in the very first issue of Superior, then at least you could make the claim that he had integrity with this new direction.

But no. Now he wrote what I personally would consider a bad, tasteless, story with the end of ASM, and lacks the conviction to stick to his guns. The reveal of "Soul-Peter" just reeks of bad storyplanning. Much too soon to let the impact of 700 settle.

One thing I just don't get is the people that go "See! We all knew he'd be back!" and I immediately have to go "Uh, yeah. So?" It's not the "fact" that Peter died (or whatever) that was the issue (at least for me) it was how it was handled.

From what I've seen I won't be regretting the choice to drop Spider-Man from my reading list.

I agree it was way to early to tease Parker's return. I'm new to forum so slap me if I get out of line.

can't wait til Peter comes back and doc ock somehow finding a way to a new body. So spidey can beat the living crap out of ock for sleeping with MJ.

I didnt find a date(heh....) on marvel.com so i asked here,so Avenging comes out Wensday....i forgot it,compeletely!

what i dont get about amazing spider-man 700, is that all spider-man had to do was send an email to avengers/mary jane, He was able to order a prison break with mind from ocks cell, why not simple send a message out to the people he was worried about doc ock hurting in his body, and if he couldnt from prison, but why the hell would he walk to avengers tower to explain it, in stead of sending a message, the avengers ID card cant be the only way they have to keep in touch, and even if it was, he could still send a mail to MJ, or text her.
