Scarlet Spider cancellation

Rumor around my LCS is that Scarlet Spider is getting canned. I sincerely hope this isn't true. What do you guys think?

Hope not, though if they do, I am done with Marvel forever...I was almost done with them, but Scarlet Spider tricked me back in, and is the one and only book of theirs I have picked up recently.

Its the best title marvel has. Yost is doing an amazing job.

it's still in all of the solicitations up until November so if it is getting cancelled then it's after November

When it comes to comic sales quality doesn't mean much sadly.

The title of this thread almost gave me a heart attack. If you haven't guess, I sincerely hope that Marvel does not cancel Scarlet Spider. It has been pretty solid so far and cancelling it would be such a waste. Right now, (IMO) Kaine is much more interesting than SpOck.

It's the one other Marvel book I would consider buying. With Venom being canned, the Spider-Man family would be severely lacking in variety if Scarlet Spider were cancelled. Not to mention story telling quality as it's one of the best titles Marvel has.

If thats true then there are no longer any Marvel titles that I like.

They say that Venom and Kaine will be cancelled....cause they're kinda sorta rebooting sh*t and stuff.....

Why cancelled?.....because reasons.

It's because it isnt as good as... -SUPERIOR- SPIDERMAN!

Marvel has denied a reboot at every turn plus they pretty much just started Marvel Now which has been a pretty big success sales wise

Most of my reviews happen to be positive, check them out. It's just mostly of pre-2010 stuff. There has been an enormously drastic drop in quality the past few years.

The part that infuriates me is that these guys don't appreciate the gift they've been given, in being able to write comics. They do it only to fellate their own egos. Makes me sick.

I mean look at that. That is just too stupid for words. Remender is completely without talent, and has a job that tens of thousands of far better writers would kill for. Doesn't appreciate it. Doesn't care.

That scene is like if Batman randomly cut off his own nose and taped it around Robin's face while singing "Old MacDonald had a farm". Just makes no sense.

Anyway something massive eill happen in December,cuz they're burning it up and saying here and there "it will be something never done before"....they stated it primarely for Spider-Man but then for all the U.

That's just general Marvel hype, "something that's never been done before" happens every month. Don't get caught up in the hype machine man.

Well, Scarlet Spider is so interesting a comic book, I started wondering why Marvel keeps the series going, since Marvel is pro crap at the time being.

I'm ok with this. It started out strong but it just didn't hold my interest.

Stegman posted an image from December's issue which is apparently the beginning of a new arc doesn't sound like its getting canned.

Strong rumours about it.....all titles that doesnt have Superior on/in them are getting cancelled....(Morbious,Venom)

Maybe it's just a re-launch.....or maybe it's not cancelled and we are talking bullsh*t here!!...that would be pleasent.

If it they do get canceled it's because they're all selling like crap. I doubt Marvel has some conspiracy to weed out everything not in the superior brand

I never blame Marvel. I always blame the fans though. You fans buy Superior. You fans buy Thunderbolts. You fans don't buy Scarlet Spider so I blame the fans. MARVEL is a company.
