Mary-Jane is a terrible girlfriend

Let's review here, Mary Jane, in Spiderman 1 was dating Flash. In the same movie, she goes on to date Harry and even cheats on him by kissing Spiderman. By the end of the movie, she has a thing for Peter. Now she doesn't know that Peter is Spiderman, so in her mind, she's trying to get 4 different guys to ----- her.

In Spiderman 2, Mary Jane is with some space astronaut mother fucker. While watching Spiderman 2, I thought that MJ will MAYBE stick with 1 guy the whole time. But nope! She has to audacity to ask Peter to kiss her. She's engaged to the astronaut ---------------! What the ----- is up with that? And by the end of the movie, she is a runaway bride and ends up with Peter.

Now Spiderman 3, she is finally with the superhero nigga she's been wanting to get with this whole time. But she isn't satisfied with that. She acts like a bitch in the first 30 minutes of the movie and ends up cheating on Peter with Harry again. What the --------? If this -------- was creeping so much in all 3 movies, imagine what she could have been doing offscreen. She probably let Sandman and Venom tap that a few times when the cameras weren't rolling.

MJ is a slut, straight up. That's why I don't trust these hoes. Girls are all the same.

I personally think they could've casted a better actress for MJ in the Spider-man movies, but I think no matter who took the role, she was supposed to be written hated that way since people also dislike her in the comic book.

I don't recall her dating anyone other than Harry or Peter in the first two films.

The characterization of MJ in the first 3 Spider-Man films was poor to say the least.

The portrayal of MJ in the comic books was one of a feisty, witty, exuberant, confident, drop dead gorgeous, strong-willed and fiercely independent woman. She was also an intelligent loving, compassionate and understanding wife.

Dan Slott hates MJ and is writing her as a dumb b***h.

While I couldn't care less about snaggle tooth movie MJ, comic MJ will always be a great girlfriend, and even friend, because she never told anyone he was Spidey. Even when she was pissed. How many women do you know like that? haha

Alright since spiderman 2 is the one most fresh in my mind I'll talk about this one. M.J wanted peter as a friend in the second film at first thats it. She was going to marry Jameson BUT Peter constantly pushed her for something more, and made the first moves, and would not respect her declines untill she gave in.

In the first film, Flash was a bully and I'm prettu sure ahe broke up with him( probs off screen). She once again was interested in Peter Parker as a FRIEND. Peter was the one that once again wanted to date her.

In part three she didnt cheat on peter that I recall, she ended things because he was being a d***.

I didn't like her characteriation, but I don't like you putting all of the responsibility and blame on her and given the men a free pass.

What about harry drunkingly trlling peter you took her from me, as if she was some sort of object he stole?

When Norman told her to...idk broom her fast and get out quick, harry flat out yelled "YOU'RE WRONG ABOUT HER DAD" he comes back in the room and she gets mad at him for not defending her, even though he clearly just did, that made me laugh so hard. Long story short,Mary Jane is a GREAT girlfriend,and life partner.....you guys just haven't read too much.

This thread is ridiculous.. honestly, we all know that the raimi series was cheesy and not exactly a great representation for the characters. especially MJ. In the comics she was much more loyal than this and the only time shes really not is in dan slotts writing. but nobody takes him seriously. And at the end, based on a false representation of a comic (hence the name COMIC vine) character that you blindly based off of a movie doesnt give you the right to say all girls are like this. Comic Vine is for serious COMIC discussions and this just cant be. If the only knowledge of a character you know is by movie or television maybe a COMIC discussion website isnt the best for you.
