There's been a lot of talk about what villains we all prefer but who is your least favorite Villain for the web-head and why?
Least favorite Spider-Man villain.
@master_of_suprise: The cliche concept, the overexposure, and both villainous Venoms were boring to me.
@master_of_suprise: I'm not saying this to be a jerk, but you spelled surprise wrong in your username.
Not when he became Trapster. He's even been a part of Sinister Six. Every Marvel villain has overlap with other characters, and it makes sense that a Human Torch villain would also be a Spider-man villain, as Spidey and Johnny were besties back in the day. In fact, he changed his name to Trapster from Paste-Pot Pete because Spider-Man couldn't stop laughing at his name. That was all detailed in the Human Torch/Spider-Man miniseries.
@spideysense44: The Kingsley Hobgoblin? Was there anything in particular or just one goblin too many? I actually thought this was one of the better villains for Spidey.

One goblin too many for me honestly. Your right he is one of the better villains to Spiderman for most people, I might be the only person on the planet that doesn't really like him that much
I found Venom overexposed and Carnage a desperate imitation of Venom. For that matter, any Goblin after the original Green Goblin (demo- , grey, whatever) seems pretty desperate as well. Why does Marvel always crib from itself like that?
I actually enjoyed the Stiltman simply because Peter experienced such joy in defeating him by tripping him.
I always loved the idea of Scorpion, but after his first and second appearance, Marvel writers never seemed to know what to do with him, and the idea was wasted. Morbius was another one that Marvel writers never seemed to know what to do with after his first couple of appearances.
I feel I should put my least favorite Spider-Man villain. Mister Negative. The guy was just a boring Kingpin wannabe to me.
in the comics, but I think most small kids now a days will think he is a spidey villain because of ultimate spider-man
Grey Goblin, Morlun, other version 2.0 knock-offs of classic characters (Scorpia, Lady Octopus etc etc).
-----------------------------------
The useless bad guys (like Tarantula, Human Fly etc) I just pity, those guys are born losers.
Speaking off knock-offs.... how much did everyone despise Slug? I hated every thing about this character.
Huh, I still associate him as a Fearsome Four member (as the trapster, of course.)
@comic-man: The Chameleon? If you don't mind my asking... why? He's a classic.
Any Symbiote besides Venom.
The first one was, is, and will be awesome, and actually showed character development and change.
Carnage was decent, but really was just an excuse for Venom and Spidey to have to work together to defeat a common enemy.
The whole Life Foundation symbiotes (Scream, Riot, Phage, Agony, and Lasher IIRC) were pointless, as was the "Hybrid" they became when they combined.
Toxin was yet ANOTHER amped up symbiote just so that Carnage and Venom had a common enemy.
Anti-Venom was basically just a shell, and had no actual mind of it's own.
There was one named Scorn but I remember absolutely nothing about it, which really shows how memorable he is.
And I'm pretty sure there was some weird brain-eating one named like Zxzx or something like that, and don't even get me started on him.
Jmarshmallow
Aunt May. She's a complete psychopath that sabotages Peter's relationships for her selfish gains. She's the reason why I don't go back to my favorite Spider-man era, because I can't handle her manipulation. JMS was the first writer to make me like her, and even looked forward to scenes with her! Then One More Day Happened, and writers brought her back to her roots.
I'm thankful that all the movie interpretations of her made her likeable though!
The Vulture. I absolutely can't stand him. He's honestly so pointless that I couldn't even see him wandering off to fight Alpha Flight.
@sesquipedalophobe: Yeah. If I didn't pay so much for the Roger Stern Omnibus, I would have skipped all the Vulture issues, since he's so bland. Any issue with the Vulture is very boring to me.
