The show can get really annoying most of the times, like every single time there's a fight or an emotional scene it gets fucked up the pause and the talking to the invisible audience.
Is Ultimate Spider-Man (Cartoon) as bad as everyone says it is?
If the carton didn't break the forth wall every 10 seconds and had more solo spidey and no stupid joke and overall no shield, it woud be better

THEY CANCELLED YOUNG JUSTICE!!!!!
Poor Weisman....
@PunyParker: Nooooooooooooooo! that sucks, shows how to make a mature superhero show. Beware the batman sounds bad and I have no idea what teen titans go! will be like
@Ninjablade09: Teen Titans Go! sounds like a vhildish piece o' sh**,if you'll excuse me......beware the Batman will be a kid show too......i'm really disappointed from this....Young Justice+Spectacular Spiderman?......i hope Weisman is good.....i pity the guy... a lot...
@PunyParker: If Weisman is open maybe they can get him to work on a new Spidey show after this Ultimate crap gets canceled.
Quick question for all though am I the only one that likes Drake Bell as Spider-man?

Hope they make a new "mature" Spidey show, and take Weisman to write it....and Keaton for Spider-Man.....maybe Season 3 of Spec.Spiderman?....i'm imagining a lot!
I dont like Bell as Spiderman....for me Josh Keaton is the perfect Peter Parker....a bit deeper voice, but still teen......
HOPE THEY GET WEISMAN TO DO SPIDEY AGAIN!
@PunyParker: Ya Weisman on Spidey again would bring us fans out of a dark time. I don't know I love Josh, but maybe because I have been a huge Drake Bell fan since Drake&Josh (lol Drake&Josh two Spidey voices) so that's why I except him more.
@Ninjablade09: I loved Drake and Josh too,but he's an annoying kid for Spiderman....i like Bell too,but not as Spider-Man
@PunyParker: Ah true, but I'm still a teen so an annoying Spider-man is okay with me. Personally I don't care who it is as long as they can deliver lines like Peter would and I can picture it being Spidey's voice. (grew up reading Ultimate Spider-man, stories work better as movies than cartoons IMO).
@Ninjablade09: I'm a teen too,and grew up reading Ultimate too....stil Keaton is the best and Spectacular the best Marvel cartoon ever IMO.....he's Peter's voice, for me
@PunyParker: Nice, two each his own. I hope they make a sequel to Shattered Dimensions but with at least one more Spidey. Then I could get Keaton, Barnes, Harris, Dan, and hopefully Bell. Would be my favorite Spider-man game.
It's not bad, it's probably just not for you.
Comic fans have become spoiled expecting everything that uses comic characters to be catered toward them.
You know what? Kids need Spider-Man too and their taste isn't going to match a 30 year olds.
@Ninjablade09: There were an Ultimate Spiderman in SD......if only they could make 616 Spidey to be Superior and voiced by Keaton, and the Ultimate voiced by Bell....that would be cool!
@PunyParker: That would be cool, but if they make 616 superior they would make ultimate miles(maybe as alternate costumes). And I meant that if they added another spidey universe for bell to voice, and bring back the original cast lol.
Believe it or not,the most "mature" thing that went from the TV that had Spider-Man as a protagonist was Bendis's Spiderman the new TAS...
And it was good, and i loved it!

Ya it was planned by critics because it was originally supposed to be between Spider-man and Spider-man 2 but Conners was going to be in 2 so they made it an alternate ending to Spider-man
@Ninjablade09: wow....it really was a shocker...i knew it had to do with the movie, cause o fthe costume and Harry's house, and a lot of things that resembeled the movie but....pity
@Ninjablade09: Yeah.....i know that....that was a really dick thing to do.....i still believe in a decent show,in the following 1-2 years....
@PunyParker: that's what's great about Spider-man SD and EOT, you get to listen to Keaton as long as you want.

@PunyParker: honestly I like the new one better than Spectacular based on that clip. That's the first episode I've seen of spectacular though.
The clip was not Spectacular......it was Avengers EMH guest staring Spider-Man....

i played SD and EoT at Xmas just for that!...(and for NPH too....i watch the Spiderman MTV TAS now, too!)
Honestly not that bad. I wish it was a solo spidey series rather than spidey and his shield team, but the animation is superb. It gets stupid at times at how often peter breaches the 3rd wall(he knows we are watching). I like how they depict his attributes. When he gets serious he is a forced to be reckon with. Hes strength and speed are pretty consistent. He isn't underpowered nor is he overpowered. And there isn't a great amount of PIS

Yeah yeah, totally with you on this...i would watch this of it was a solo series.....despite the kidness,i would watch it.....the young Avengers thing bugs me.....also i saw the season 2 premier (and only....) and saw that the team is living with Pete in his house....i didnt like it when it happened in the comics, and i dont like it now...

That bolded line is one of the best things I have seen on this site
@Rumble Man: Comic readers need to come to the realization that if the brand doesn't expand to the next generation that there isn't going to be a product for you to enjoy much longer.
@spidermanandsuperman:
Plot Induced Stupidity. When an event happens out of character in order to advance the story. It is a techniques that is looked down upon.
Example: Spiderman getting hurt by a normal human punch. That is PIS because it is out of character
