Poll If Peter had the chance, which one would he save? (22 votes)

Uncle Ben 23%
Gwen Stacy 77%

I was thinking earlier, if Peter had the chance to go back and save either Uncle Ben or Gwen Stacy from dying, but not both, which one would he save?

Veery tough but he would probably have am imaginary pep talky conversation with Uncle Ben who would tell him he is happy the way things happened and didn't want to come back so Peter would save Gwen.

Kind of like what happened in Issue 500.

Uncle Ben. He'd then give Peter better dating advise, rofl.

He'd bring back Gwen until he remembered she is the mother of Norman's children

I don't know, tbh. I can see scenarios where he would choose either one.

Both needed to die so Peter could become the person that we knew. Both deaths had a huge effect on him and even though at first glance it would appear that Ben's Death effected him more it can be argued that Gwens death actually effected him more psychologically. I think he would save her.

Honestly, I can see scenarios where he'd choose either one, but more often than not, I think he'd choose Gwen.

Uncle ben is old. He had his chance to have a life, Gwen was just a teenagers. Barely an adult.

The death of both characters were important to Peter's character development. Unfortunately their deaths don't really matter considering we now have Spider-Gwen, and there was also a Spider-Ben in Spider-Verse.

Regardless, I feel like Peter would probably chose Uncle Ben considering how in most cases it's thoughts about Uncle Ben that reminds him to be a hero.

But then again he could save Gwen just to give her a chance at living a longer life.

If Peter thought that way, he'd never have created the Mephistoverse and aborted his child.

@zarius: The "Mephistoverse" does not exist in the way you describe it. And he did not abort his child as the child technically never existed.

Most likely he would try to save both of them, then Uncle Ben would talk to him and tell him he cant change the past and he shouldnt, then remind him he shouldnt be living in the past and life is too precious, in an old fashion Uncle Ben way
