Uncle Ben is the very reason Peter became Spider-man due to his guilt of the fact that he was the very reason why he died in the first place. Would he prevent tampering with the laws of nature or would he be like "f*ck that sh*t" and revive him?
If Peter could bring back Uncle Ben would he do it?
@gamiz7: You should be a writer for Marvel with great ideas like that
@tehstranger: i was joking, but they should have another clone saga, but keep it short and instead of cloning spiderman they clone dr. doom
Sounds like something Slott would try.
This
In a heartbeat. Uncle Ben was Peter's biggest failure and everything he's done since then has been to atone for his death. If he had the chance to bring him back I don't think he would even hesitate.
@symbioticspider-man: i don't think he would...death is like time travel, after a certain point you don't do it or you just end up breaking something. Nightcrawler came back from the dead and he seems insanely depressed, as soon as he made it back he had a severe "WHAT HAVE I DONE" moment. and it backfired in his face more than once so far lol. Who knows if peter "revived" him he could be pulling him out of heaven and bringing him back to a world full of pain and loss.
@allstarsuperman: Reed brought Thing back and he was in Heaven. I think Peter would realize he shouldnt do that
Sounds like it could make a kind of harrowing time travel story. Like, Peter goes back in time and prevents Uncle Ben dying, and the timeline goes all weird somehow because of it, leading to the world becoming a worse off place. Peter would have to make the decision to let this terrible world exist, or go back again and prevent himself from stopping Uncle Ben dying.
Similar stories have been done before, and it's potentially kind of heavy and depressing, so maybe it's the sort of thing that won't happen. Not in 616-canon anyway.
