Has spider-man ever killed before?
in the "web of shadows" game
funny- how he throws an innocent civilian(unwillingly a symbiote) off the rooftop
Also, check this http://www.spiderfan.org/faq/killed.html
Back in Black what if. I was just using it to show that in a bad day or tragic moment, spider-man would kill. BTW I'm the only person who knows about the digger.
Yeah the digger. Basicly he a mixture of dead mafia bosses formed into one being with the help of gamma raidiation. He goes on a rampage trying to look for the guy who killed them. Spidey is asked to protect the suspect and his daughter (who turns out be the guy who ordered for the death of the mafia bosses)
Digger powers are like the hulk with a class 60 strength, expect that he loses his juice when he fights for long periods
After a few fights, spider-man realised how the digger's powers work. He met the digger for a final confrontation (just about the same time the suspect confesses to the hit) Spider-man and digger fought till the digger realised that his body would fall apart, so he knocked spider-man with a hard punch so that he could escape into the sewers. Spider-man was stunned but not out and followed him down. The last moments showed spider-man saying "End of the line" with the digger replying if spidy has the stones for it. The two unleashed a clash that cracked the surfare above the sewers with smoke coming out. As the smoke clears, we see the digger's body in pieces.
BTW this just from the Top of my head so there might be a few bits missing.
http://www.comicvine.com/what-if-spider-man-vs-wolverine-the-spider-who-went-into-the-cold/37-122073/ is this the 'What-if' you were talking about conformist21?
Rereading the White Tiger / Gideon Mace story in SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN, when Mace ordered his men to fire, even if meant firing at himself, sure; Spidey did not "kill" him, if he died ( he might be just in limbo, but nevertheless, he was not seen again since), but he could have saved him, not just "duck". Spider-Man sure saved Vermin atleast two possible collisions of death before.
@kingloki: what comic was this
@thekillerofgods: Amazing Spiderman 525
He killed Finisher in self defense.

Good continuity!
Yes. This is the earliest moment where Spider-Man clearly takes someone's life (in ASM Annual #5).
But there's a good argument for saying that even though it's in self defense, Spider-Man didn't have to lead the missile that was chasing him to The Finisher.
Part of me would like to bring back The Finisher for no other reasons than to prove that Spidey hadn't killed him.
There's some strange part of continuity-ethics where it's kind of okay if Spider-Man intended to kill someone, and it winds up that he didn't-- like having them come back later, or finding out that they were a robot or something.

That also applies to Batman in many ways,more ways than it does towards Pete,although Bats has a clear rule about killing.
Generally,what is this with the morallity of superheroes?......i think only Spider-Man and Batman has the "no kill" rule.....
@danslott: Ok.

He killed what's her name... I can't remember her name but she was trying to get Wolverine to kill her but Spider-Man interrupted, which was Wolverine's and his first fight IIRC. Afterwards, Wolverine left and this girl crept up on Spider-Man, knowing his spider sense would warn him of her attack. Spidey thought it was Wolverine attacking again, so he whipped around and threw a punch as hard as he could, which obviously killed the girl.

in my head any deaths caused by peter only appear to be murder and it should be assumed that they are alive. if the story has good reasoning for the murder or it has a permanent effect then i will accept it. i think most people would fully support a return of the finisher. if you dont do it give someone else the idea
He's killed people before actually. It's just people come up some random bs saying he choke him or KOed him. They cnwt handle Spidey being a killer. I personally like it that we went to the other side at times.
