He still ain't back.We still have to wait and see what Remender has in mind.

#5 Edited by Dernman (15807 posts) - - Show Bio

Unfortunately yes. He's coming back as one of the Four Death Horsemen heirs to the Apocalypse twins

Who's the one on the right? Banshee?

I'm assuming that's Daken and not Wolverine in the middle. Interesting...his claws looks like they're made of ionic energy.

#9 Posted by Ciriel (410 posts) - - Show Bio

I just know he'll be fighting Thor. He probably won't be himself until Apocalypse is defeated (If the characters even remain when he is).

Yep.The new Horsemen appear to be Banshee,Daken,Sentry and Reaper.

Sentry is like Marvel's Superboy Prime, when he shows up, people get killed.

The questions are as follows...

1.) If Sentry is back, does that mean the Void is back too?

2.) Is Sentry really back, or is that the Void in Sentry's body?

3.) If they're both back, which one is actually the horseman, or are both of them the horseman jointly?

answer to 1,2 and 3 they are the same person.

I hope after this horseman thing they bring Sentry back to character. I kinda missed him.

@theamazingimmortalman: @takuu: Yes and no... Pam, a total extravert and fitness buff, is born with a mental disorder that causes her to form divergent personalities. One of them, we'll call it Edna, likes knitting and staying inside away from people while drinking tea. Also she develops another named Trixie who likes fast food and watching TV. Who is Pam really? All three, or the one she was born as? In this case, Bob Reynolds, who had multiple personalities already, had his condition amped up to two extremes by the serum. Now, is this the re-emergance of one or both of those personalities?

actually i think its just yes because you just proved my point when i said void and sentry are the same guy just different personalities

#23 Edited by PrimeDirective (448 posts) - - Show Bio

@takuu: No, I said they're divergent personalities. The guy is Bob Reynolds. Clearly Bob Reynolds is back. The question is are both his personalities back or just one?

1) Sentry is back, Void isn't. There might be something slightly voidy inside of him, but the writer never really went all too deep into it. The writer came with the idea instead that Sentry will have the Death-seed inside of his head and now have to deal with that, so Void won't be on his mind.
2) It's Sentry only. They can make the Void appear if they want, simply out of nothing and besides that Scott Summers had Void inside of his head as well, so we'll see.
3) Sentry is back and he is the horsemen of Death, just like the others.

We'll have to wait for Uncanny Avengers #11, since that's supposed to be the issue where Sentry will have the lead role of the narration. I hope Remender will explain his take on the character and I wonder if he will choose to go with the events from Fallen Sun, where Reed mentioned the infamous page 19 in Sentry's diary.

Sadly expecting nothing good for the Sentry from this storyline and a quick return to the grave. I hope I'm wrong.

#28 Posted by Chibio (920 posts) - - Show Bio

I am really curious about that Sentry / Thor rematch. In theory Thor shouldn't stand a chance, because Sentry, who is already ridiculously powerful got an Apocalypse upgrade. I'm curious to see how Remender will deal with that kind of a power level.

@vance_astro Any ideas?

#29 Posted by NYSMUSCLE (31 posts) - - Show Bio

The interview said he'd have no void in him but the death personality. He practically let Thor kill him cause he couldn't get the job done with his norn stone upgrade

In the interview he said its gonna be one hell of a rematch

I really don't understand how it will be a good rematch. Because of Sentrys power upgrade he should defeat Thor rather easily. Or will the Death seed depower Sentry??? Will Remender go with the take that Sentry is overall much less powerful, if Void is not included, so that now Horseman Sentry will be about even with Thor? Questions over questions.

#31 Posted by Epicbeast3000 (956 posts) - - Show Bio

So Sentry is the most powerful Superhero

#32 Edited by NYSMUSCLE (31 posts) - - Show Bio

@chibio: void an sentry are the same

Good an evil aspects of Bob Reynolds they have the same powers which he holds together with his mind

Look at it as he seems the sentry as a certain type of hero fly strong some energy projection what you would expect from a hero

The void über powerful can do it all cause he's seen as the embodment of a villain
