Tons of developers provide exclusive demos and walkthroughs to people in attendance only.

Playthroughs yes because you can't play it if it's not out yet

@jonny_anonymous: There is a ton of behind closed things going on at E3. There are things they show off at E3 the general public never sees. Plus it's not really a convention. PAX does a ton of exclusive stuff too, and that's a traditional convention.
