Grand Canyon Battle: Joeagentofhand1 vs Rumble Man

It was a cool day for the Grand Canyon, around 56degrees F. The date was 01/21/13. The noises of vultures trying to find the dead bodies of dead animals, could be heard from a distance.The wind was picking up, creating a minor sandstorm of sorts. Many tourists were on the skywalk looking at the abyss below. It was all a normal day, until the Ancient one known as Zool came onto the scene.

Hew as challenged by a friend, he could never remember his name. He accepted the challenge just like many of the Greek warriors he had known would have. He waited for the mechanical hero to come. he wondered if he should use his true form in this fight. Maybe another time he thought. It was a sparring match after all. Some people came around to watch the fight. "Hm....people actually heard about the fight". They were your stereotypical tourists. They had sunglasses and Hawaiian shirts. They had their cameras out to record the battle.

It amazes Zool how little humanity has changed. They watched criminals fight to the death in Rome. In America present day they watch heroes have "sparring matches". Zool asked himself why he accepted. Was it to try his ring in battle? Maybe he wants to try a new strategy? He may never remember.

He saw him coming in the distance. Ring ready, show time.

The stage was set and the audience was linked, Hazard descended into the open plains as the wind blew in. Carrying a flag of the US and A behind his back to represent his 'friend' which may help attract conservatives. A bible is also present in his left hand, causing many comments to appear as hits were rising to high digits since more and more people clicked the view button on their sides of the screen. A live streaming of a 'real time' exhibition match was about to unfold. Two parties present in the area are the pro-reg members, both new with dedication in their own ways and interpretations of how heroism should be.

In front of him, separated by over a distance of fifteen feet is his sparring partner, the HUD featured on the stream shows a kind of quick run through on the team database. The section that was open to public, as with the tourists kept at bay with barriers and helpful pro-reg troops showing their hearts for the government run program. Hazard plans to keep this match on his feet, and use his fists to give the crowd a slobber knocker that they usually like. Hopefully nothing too fancy, just lefts and rights. Should the situation calls for more 'finesse' he can adapt on the fly.

Hazard remembers his own cues to keep it 'dramatic', have some long winded speeches and to make sure that the audience can catch up to see him move. Since it would be a crime to fight in any ways where the average american cant watch, quickly the stream turns in with a brief commercial about the program and an advertisement with the U men flying around american skies. Something about a LeBeau but that part was fast forwarded so the viewers can get to action.

He starts slow at sub-sonic speeds, going in and beside his friend.

Zool stares at the bible. Obviously a ploy. He ignores it and decides to get the sparring started. "You are somewhat late. No matter let's begin the match". An armada of purple constructs surrounded him. "For my next magic act I will cause the wind to rise". It does as he said it would. Sand begins to fly in every direction, hiding him from Hazard.

He lets the flag and the bible disappear in the ensuing sandstorm, he could have used alternate vision features but going for the win directly would not go with the plan. Instead he widens his vision so that the audience can see more into what is going on, several people are already making GIFs of the sandstorm disappearing. Various new fansites are made for the opponent, the people are liking what they see.

With both hands extended the cyborg created a makeshift fan to create gale force winds to wipe away the sand.

"A little sand is not going to hurt you as I expected, but that was not even the opening act. This next trick involves me saying abracadabra and....." An onslaught of constructs came from his Indigo ring. They all looked like Greek warriors he knew in the past. This might be a sparring match, but Zool still planned to win. The construct began to swarm Hazard. He pulled out his flask. He could finish it right now he thought, but he forgot about this notion and put the rest of his attention to the battle.

The sight of the constructs ramped up the views by at least a factor of ten, now for the sake of entertainment his fists are now ready for show. Body swaying, weaving, bobbing, ducking and dodging movements but only by a fraction of a millimeter to give a feeling of suspense to the audience. However he sets a rhythm of getting 'hurt' as well so that he is selling well to the audience that this is dangerous stuff, taking several shots while closing in while landing a few solid shots at moderate speeds. "C'mon boy-o lets have a good brawl"

His constructs were diminishing, no matter that was only part 1. "Morgoth antilaw miet nin!" Zool yelled. All of a sudden 7 other Zool's appeared. Zool then used his wind control to create a sandstorm. He and his illusions were blocked from view. Zool and his shadow clones began to circle Hazard. Zool used his TP and said to Hazard "Let's see how you like a game of smoke and mirror".

His fists made short work of the assortment of charging warriors. Yet some matter of language was uttered to the air, for the sake of understanding subtitles were added to the live stream so that the audience would understand. They did not decipher the content of the words, however they did enable the words to be read in alphabetical text. A total of eight hostiles emerge in his vision, all highlighted through green markers which indicate his presence.

Hazard did not get the message yet he did felt a 'tingle' in his biotic parts, to dramatize those previous words are given anagram and static to convey an odd cryptic message.

He is ready for what comes next.

@Rumble Man:

He and his clones continued to circle around his opponent. They then stopped, two of the shadow flew towards Hazard. Then Zool went towards him, but he had formed a protective construct around. It was in the shape of the bullet. He continued forward, preparing to strike.

Hazard lowered his guard and was thus struck with the full force of the attack, he was dazed as he moved his body in an electrified manner. Did several flips, and the crowd loved it some people in tourist gear cheered for Zool and started shouting U-S-A, U-S-A while holding his picture up. Now things are getting interesting as Hazard stood back on his knees.

@Rumble Man:

Zool stopped midway and looked at his opponent. It was a hit, but Hazard was barely fazed. Zool waited for Hazard's next move.

Hazard flew towards Zool while dusting off his suit, at the speeds of a fastball while he curves through the air to create an unpredictable motion. Both hands are outstretched so at the moment of contact he would push his partner to fall on his ass.

@Rumble Man:

Zool saw him coming, but was not fast enough to react. He fell down on his back. He felt pain and this made him smile. "You managed to hurt me. Congratulations". He then formed a construct in the shape of a WWII style war boat. He sent it straight down on Hazard.

Hazard went down as the boat was above him, taking a brief moment to rest while the audience cheered and clapped for the visual theatrics. They bought the light show well. Figures are being sold and hands are being clapped, Hazard waited for about thirty seconds before he does something else. At the moment he tries to fit under the earth.

@Rumble Man:

Zool waited for Hazard to lift up the construct, but nothing happened. His construct disappeared as he came closer to Hazard's body. He knew victory was not won so easily, so he played multiple scenarios in his mind. He prepared his ring to attack his opponent. He waited.

While he seems at a groggy position the Cyborg simply played possum and as Zool approaches to observe his current condition the metallic arm extends to grab a leg or a limb equivalent. Down under the earth so as the attempt would not be so obvious, should it connect then Hazard plans to slam Zool into the ground.

@Rumble Man:

Zool moved closer to the body. He was not sure if it was a trap or not at this point, but it was worth to see if he killed him or not. He then stood right above the body.

@joeagentofhand1: The hand sprung outwards to grasp the ankle, when it connects Hazard will use superior strength to slam Zool into the ground and now he awaits a reaction.

@Rumble Man:

All Zool did was smile . He chuckled a little as if the pain gave him joy. In reality he waited for the next part of the battle. "Is that best you have Tin Man?"

@joeagentofhand1: After getting a grip which was indicated by the vibration of leg against the metal, Hazard slams zool on his back. In reality this would not do anything big since whatever that glowing thing that comes out of its body must have some features to cushion the fall. "Nope, how about this" With the grip still in place Hazard zooms across the plains to use the ground as a grater.

@Rumble Man:

Zool continued to laugh. The fool has no idea what he is doing. Slowly his body began to break apart. Cracking into pieces, he slowly became ash. The main event was about to begin.

Hazard began to worry a bit that #1 his partner seems to dissipate into dust , which may or may not mean murder #2 that this worry may build up negative emotion, which will invariantly lead to him to kill all life on his scanning perimeter. He tries to calm down as his grip loosens, keeping 'good' thoughts to prevent a tantrum.

@Rumble Man:

"You will see the true form of the first creature on Earth!"

A bright light appeared and a creature appeared floating in mid air.

"Aww, it looks cuute"

His anger subsides as he is in the presence of a cute critter, it seems somewhat friendly.

@Rumble Man:

A tornado slowly began to form around him. "Now face the terror of Mesopotamia and the protector of Greece". The tornado fully covered him. Indigo lighting began to strike the ground.

@joeagentofhand1:

Hazard is impressed by the Tornado that covered Zool and the indigo colored lightning that he has never seen before in his short life, he stood still as he was both shocked and awed by this revelation. Unsure what to do next.

@Rumble Man:

The lightning moved closer and closer to Hazard. Zool waited to see what Hazard would do before he strikes.

Hazard moved forward and was struck by the indigo bolt, body is tingled with jolting sensations. Luckily he is a cyborg of a super strong species and components of an energy absorbing material. He was refreshed, and yet electrified at the same time.

It seems to be ineffective. The tornado came closer and closer to Hazard. "Lightning is not affective, but what about air".

His entire body was sucked into the vortex of air, dragging his form higher as the tornado leads upwards into the sky. Strong and fast the motion of the air blurs the image of the cyborg, before spitting him out to smack the dirt. He replied with searing heat vision from his lie down position as he was facing upwards, with a temperature of 572°F at which wood will burst into flame. Hazard did not pinpoint his focus rather he expanded his beam so that a cone of heat would envelop his friend.

The beam hit Zool enveloping him in a crimson beam. The tornado stopped, but Zool remained unaffected by it. "I live in hell, heat is never a problem". He began to make constructs of WWII tanks. The tanks began to attack Hazard. The wind, in the meantime, began to circle around him forming another tornado.

"In hell your flames are weak, weapons of torture cannot compare to those of mass annihilation"

The wind sucked him in and the unpredictable pattern of the rotations makes dodging very easy, had he used the tank alone some results would show but using them in tandem presents plenty of options for the cyborg. Continuing on with the red rays emitted from his vision, warming the air around the flying bug.

"That won't do you any good". The tornado kept on spinning and eventually stopping. Zool slowly went closer to the, still levitating though. The tanks began to fire at Hazard.

The shots made him fall from the skies, and fumbling back to the ground. Its ominous presence created feelings of unease which are kept under check to prevent unwanted rage. So the cyborg opts for the opposite route with a chilling blast of arctic winds.

@Rumble Man:

The cold blast was able to stun Zool. He fell and landed on the ground. He lied there for a few seconds and then got up. His constructs had disappeared while he was on the ground. He then closed his eyes and waited for his opponents attack.

@joeagentofhand1:

Their match stream was interrupted with a commercial showing of a new movie about Chris Hemsworth's abs, the show was cut for a minute where Hazard and Zool could exchange words or instructions. Even in their area giant censor screens appear in front of the bystanders to remind them of the benefits of the Registration program and to support the bill.

"Hey, I am going to take a dive here and in two more attacks I will 'slow down' so when my eyes flare that is a cue for you to generate something visually stunning"

@Rumble Man:

Zool felt anger inside himself. This human thinks this a simple game. He began to form a tornado around himself and started spinning. Let's see if he can dodge this!

@joeagentofhand1:

Hazard did not dodge yet he began to 'hype' it up by standing still and giving a freezing breeze of arctic winds from his mouth, a first move out of three strikes before his inevitable demise.

Zool then covered himself with a construct to protect himself from the winds. He created a vortex around his opponent. He continued spinning toward Hazard.

Hazard moved towards his adversary, firmly planting his feet deep into the ground as he got closer by the moment. The earth up to his knees and his movement unrelenting the cyborg paced through the walls of wind.

Zool moved towards Hazard while spinning. He passed by him stealing his speed. He stopped spinning and then sent a small tornado around Hazard, this time he will feel the vertigo affect.

Seconds strike, suddenly his body lagged beyond average. It seems that the opponent had just sapped his velocity, and thus rendering the cyborg's body in 'statue' state. So far his mind is numbed and thus he felt the full strike of the wind. Lifted up and slammed down again, this time facing up once more and on his back.

This is a damaging move, yet what the opponent does not know is that both of them are in the grand canyon at day time. Solar rays does plenty of wonders for the average kryptonians, the reserve are sealed for the exhibition match but natural sources are okay for 'show'. Rumbleman kips up and laughs at the opponent, while giving a quarter second cue for a final strike as he stood there without a guard.

The next move is the finisher and Zool's stock is about to increase.

@Rumble Man: Zool then created a tornado behind himself and charged towards Hazard. The construct around him formed into a bullet. The force of tornado made him move faster and also made the indigo light around the construct spiral in multiple directions. He slammed into Hazard.

Hazard fell down against this final blow, down for the ten count and out of the match. the victor was ascertained with that attack. The crowd jeered and a great hero was born (or at least in the eyes of the media).

@Rumble Man:

Zool heard the crowds cheer. He ignored it and created a portal to hell. He walked inside the portal to rest. Barbaric he thought to himself.
