And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Comic Vine's mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat! On that day, the Comic Vine Avengers were born--to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand!

The Comic Vine Avengers is a new team dedicated to justice and the eradication of evil wherever it lurks. Membership is open to all good members of Comic Vine, with the elite becoming full-fledged Avengers, and the untested being put in the reserves. There will always be room for advancement based on activity in the RPG boards. Members of other teams are welcome to join, and the Avengers are always willing to help non-members take down especially challenging threats. Do you have what it takes to wear the Avengers mantle? Yeah, hopefully we'll survive the rocky first few days, then the treacherous next few weeks, followed by the harrowing months afterward...
