@evander_slade: @the_last_arashikage: Yeah lol, I'm glad I dropped it. Could have ruined a lot of good memories for me.
Wings of Liberty - OOC
@evander_slade: @lady_liberty: I'd be lying if I said I wouldnt watch a Star Wars movie in which a Force Blackhole was made. If they did it one time, just one time with a force user who was really supper old and powerful and died as a result of making it, I could buy it. I think <_<
@the_last_arashikage: They kinda did that in the books. This guy named Exar Kun who was an ancient sith lord tore a star apart and slammed it together on a whole fleet... tens of thousands of years in the past.
@lady_liberty: I should read more
@the_last_arashikage: Yeah but don't waste your time on most of the SW books lol.
@lady_liberty: @the_last_arashikage: @evander_slade: I dont know about the Darth Maul bIt, but they dId clone the Emperor. Granted thats not very extreme consIderIng the fact they cloned Bobba Fett how many tImes? The stretch theIr Is In the force abIlItIes
as for the force Itself black holes to me seem veasIble on a small scale. LIke agaInst ground forces. What seamed dbzIsh was Emperor makIng a legItImant shIp swallowIng black hole. The force can easIly be seen as a manIpulatIon of gravIty and gravItatIonal pull Is key to a black hole. Large force trIcks are hard for me to buy. But I mIght be fan bIased a bIt lol
@the_last_arashikage: lol they'd have to sell him as THE greatest for me to buy it. Talking from the beginning to that being the big end. Didn't they say force power is like anaconda growth, older you are the stronger? I don't know much about SW. The political aspect turns me off it
@614azrael: How do you turn off a black hole though lol Making one, ok. Shutting it off and just walking away like a badass....hmmm.
@evander_slade: that on the other hand Is a solId poInt lol a black hole doesnt just come wIth a off swItch. That and after makIng a black hole, havIng the stamIna to get rId of It doesnt sound lIkely lol

They come with a timer called Hawking radiation.
@lady_liberty: Oh we gettin scientific?
Pops a limitless pill
How do they escape the event horizon before it dissipates? How far will it expand before that time limit is up? Could a Jedi measure that by feeling?
@evander_slade: Puts on science hat ;-)
You don't escape event horizons, as those are by definition points that cannot be escaped.
That depends on the available mass, it ranges from picoseconds to cosmic decades
I guess that would depend on what their force powers were.

So everybody's dead including the Jedi as soon as it's created :P Unless he's outside the field. Makes me ask, what's the range they can be away or near it to create one without being caught in the horizon themselves, but still being able to effect the target? Can't even a minitaure black hole have enormous gravitational pull?
That depends on the available mass, it ranges from picoseconds to cosmic decades
Let's say their firmly planted on a planet's surface, no escape and an entire armada is armed and ready ahead. Could he or she escape the then created blackhole or wouldn't it suck them in too, regardless of it's age?
@evander_slade: Puts on science hat ;-)
Your hotter when you talk science
@evander_slade: *You're hotter when you talk about science.
Limitless was an amazing movie.
It started out really well but went downhill about halfway IMO.
Limitless was an amazing movie.
I thought it'd be boring but I got into it the other day
Watched it on Netflix a couple of months ago, really enjoyed it.

I have a Bradley Cooper bias.
He was fine, the script started out with a bang and ended with a whimper, not much he can do about that.
@mercy_: I like the camera work more than the story. When he was at a high point everything was fast paced and sunshine, when he came down, it came to a dull gray crawl.
@evander_slade: *You're hotter when you talk about science.
Thts nat eve wut I sed
So everybody's dead including the Jedi as soon as it's created :P
Basically yeah. If you're inside the event horizon its game over.
Makes me ask, what's the range they can be away or near it to create one without being caught in the horizon themselves, but still being able to effect the target? Can't even a minitaure black hole have enormous gravitational pull?
That depends on the mass of the hole. Because they can be as small as a planck length they can be too small to have anything besides quantum effects. Or you can have super massive black holes that entire galaxies form around. In later cosmic decades you'll probably see black holes that dwarf the milky way.
Let's say their firmly planted on a planet's surface, no escape and an entire armada is armed and ready ahead. Could he or she escape the then created blackhole or wouldn't it suck them in too, regardless of it's age?
That depends upon the amount of mass used to create a black hole and its distance from the planet. If it's large enough, then no. But in theory you could create a black hole that is just the right size and distance and escape unharmed.
The real question is, if your TK is powerful enough to compress matter into a singularity, why don't you just grab all those ships and toss them into the sun?
Your hotter when you talk science
Awwww :-)
@lady_liberty: You win, you win lol I guess it looks like it comes down to outside factors that we can't predict beforehand.
What's your recorded IQ btw. You have to be the most intelligent person on CV
@evander_slade: I have no idea actually. I've always meant to get tested but I never have. One of those things I'm always getting around too lol.

Here comes everyone comparing scores like male appendages....

If you do decide to get tested, do not bother with the online ones, thy are far from comprehensive enough to give a reliable score.
I have taken a real test twice and online ones for fun and they can vary in scores by as much as 20 points.
@lady_liberty: You gotta try an online one then, just for fun

Whats the point. I already know hers is bigger lol
@lady_liberty: LMAO
@armistice: I was just gonna take the Stanford-Binet.
Honestly IQ scores are overrated, there are many aspects to a raw intelligence score and taking it as a be all-end all of how smart someone is a mistake.
Some people can be very average in some and very advanced in others, the raw score is only good for a very general understanding.
@evander_slade: Alrighties I'ma do this online one lol.
@armistice: I was just gonna take the Stanford-Binet.
Of the ones available online that is probably the most accurate, but it has been about 10 years since I took it, without researching I cannot say for sure.
@armistice: I was just gonna take the Stanford-Binet.
I kinda wanna go take this now...
@armistice: Agree 100%
Last time I took one it was around (just to give perspective) 110. Nothing special, literally average.
That said, I never wrote anything past a standardized school testing story before I came here a year ago. It still always blows my mind when people compliment my stuff.
@lady_liberty: I'm proud to be your Eminem.
@evander_slade: Alrighties I'ma do this online one lol.

More than likely your score is skewed high towards the creative side and less so on other fronts.
That said a 110 is nothing to be ashamed of by far.
@armistice: Pretty much. The facilities are there for other subjects, I just prefer anything that involves my own imagination.
my 30 year old brother got a 95. I'm not mad lol
Some people will surprise the hell out of you, I know people who did terrible in school yet scored quite high on an IQ test, they just did not care enough to apply themselves.
Now everybody is going to take the test, add (at least)10, and publish it to show off :)
I'm adding nine thousand.
139, which strikes me as kinda unlikely lol.
Do you think that number is high or low?
@armistice: Way too high.
@armistice: Pretty much. The facilities are there for other subjects, I just prefer anything that involves my own imagination.
This is so much me. Though I do also take interest in knowing facts and how to do things and stuff and things, I just have something of a natural tendency toward the land of butterflies and clouds.
@armistice: Way too high.
Based on my limited data from your use of critical thinking in your debates and opinions, IF it was high, I do not think it is as far off as you assume.
Even if the two of us disagree quite a bit, your reasoning behind your opinions is sound. IMO you are not giving yourself enough credit.
Personally I would not be at all surprised if it was accurate within the normal +/- of those kinds of tests.
