Excerpt From The Past

"I am sorry you had to see that, but it could not be helped. But...it no longer matters. He is back where he belongs and I am now here once more to bring you to justice. However, it is different this time. You can already tell that I have replicated your powers...which means you no longer have the high ground. We are equals in power and if we continue to fight each other as equals...then everything around us is going to die. You have already destabilized the fabric of time and space in my reality, now the effect is spreading into others." Cifer stopped for a second began rubbing his right hand in an attempt to relieve the pain he was feeling. Cifer was a master of energy manipulation and he was capable of doing incredible things with that energy such as replicating the abilities of others upon taking some of their power.
But he had never taken a God-like power, the kind of power that directly defied Divine Law, into himself and tried to use it against a foe...nor would he ever do so again. It was said that his ability to absorb energy was infinite, that it had no upper limit, that theory might have applied to lesser sources of energy but not energy like this. To him...the power to defy Divine Law...was like poison. He could already fell his body dying, but it was dying slowly, he had more than enough time.
"Mary Kinomoto...you know that what I have said, what I have been saying, is the truth. You are destroying existence with your uncontrollable powers, I know you are aware of this fact, but yet you have done nothing to stop it. Why is that? Is it because you think that just because all who have died come from another reality that their lives do not matter? That you are more important than the trillions of men, women and children that have died, are dying and are about to die?" Cifer took in a deep breath and then exhaled as he continued on. "You are not God, Ms. Kinomoto...it is not your right to decide who gets to live and who gets to die. It is not your right to determine which course History shall take...but yet you are doing it anyways. They say that absolute power corrupts absolutely, while you may not be able to see it...I can."
As he sheathed his blade Cifer began taking a couple steps towards Charmix. "You have allowed yourself to subconsciously become addicted to your own power. The addiction has already manifested itself in your refusal to believe that everything you saw in my mind was the truth. Your defiant and violent actions towards me are also a sign of addiction. You need to be cleansed and that is exactly why I have come to take you back with me to The 31st Century. You need to be removed from your power for an extended period of time, you need to undergo rehabilitation, and once we have given you those powers back you need to be taught how to...nnngghh...t-to...properly control your abilities so that we can avert further disasters like this one! Please, listen to me!" Cifer's vision began to blur as the pain within him grew more and more intense, blood began to trickle down from out of his ears, mouth, nose and tear ducts.
The end is drawing near. Cifer can feel it, he can feel the poison that Charmix calls power killing him. There is no denying it, he is going to die. But he would be forever damned if he died without completing his mission. The fate of not just his Universe but countless others as well rests on his shoulders. But as he looks Charmix in the eyes he knows that she is not going to listen, he can feel it, she did not listen the first time despite knowing what he said was true. Why would she listen now? And then he remembers.
"Rejection of Phenomena...I...I can, right now, reject anything that has happened like she can...but...even Rejection of Phenomena, that power which defies Divine Law, is not enough to reverse the sheer amount of damage that has been done. I need...I need to...I need to hit a Reset Button. I have absorbed Mary Kinomoto's powers, replicated her abilities...and as a result a portion of her aura has masked my existence. The Universe does not "see" Cifer Arokine standing before Mary Kinomoto. It only "sees" Mary Kinomoto standing before Mary Kinomoto and if t-that is true...then I can fix everything by merely making skin-to-skin physical contact with her. It will be as if two things are trying to occupy the same space at the same time. A temporal paradox will wipe out all of existence and then everything will reset itself." As Cifer ran this information through and processed all of it in his mind he fired up his Iron Fist and began rushing towards Charmix. "Of course...no one other than Mary Kinomoto and myself will remember this day ever happened, but perhaps that is for the best, now...I just have to make physical contact with her."

He failed, but the young girl known as Charmix reverse the damaged she inflicted throught out the world. " I hope to see you again......." she said, her words restored all that was lost, or so it seemed. The rift instead went through a series of phases like a butterfly. It's cocoon stage, in which it supposely reverse all the damage it did due to Charmix's magic. But to spare herself and other's of such an atrocity she visited the shop of the Wish maker. To exact her wish, but it came with a price in order for it to follow through. Of course the scared fragile girl complied and went throughly with it, at the cost she had to give something in return for compensation. Something that was valuable to her and worth more than anything: her memories. While the wish agreement was in place and set, Mary unconsciously disrupted the spell before she lost her powers and memories. In the aftermath of such her body materialized out of existence and was place in the event-horizon, lost between worlds and time.

Which such a strange occurrence, normally the natural order would ignore this error, but instead tried to fix it as it was an unnatural situation. While not the real Charmix was returned, instead she was replace by other's of the same genetic code and face but from a different world. Upon being transported to her home reality they were flaws that were needed to be fix, she ended up with the mindscape of the original Charmix thus assuming she was the only one and real Charmix but with different origins. Soon another witch with the exact same face appeared due to the dimensional inconsistency, Yuki Helena Rose who came to be known as Moonglow. Who soon became possess by the embodient of magic, Hymesi. With human emotions and the corruption she felt in the world she claimed that her goal was to cleanse both "magic and life". With the weaken barriers in time, she scattered the Vine Titans to the four winds, only soon returned to witness Moonglow's death by Alyssa. More Charmixs' arrive while the previous died due to time catching up and the process repeated it self, time was in a state of flux and paradox. Now the current Charmix mantel bearer belongs to Cecilia Hsu.

Present

The magical scab tears itself again, to complete it's final stage. The strange wound began building, the pressue of such was stiring full like a massive volcano ready to burst, enough to annhilate another solar system and endanger timelines and creating the gap that was once present. Instead of "fixing", Mary's magic manipulated the fields of time/space around the fissure, thus containing but not stopping it entirely. The witch's enchantments and containment spell were slowly fading. The unnatural pheromone was feeding from the same source that allowed it's existence: magic. The large mystical cocoon finally burst out in pure magic. Severely altering the flow of the mystical flux.

From millions of miles away, Cecilia feels this. Her body begins to shake as she can feel her morning breakfast coming back up for a delightful surprise. After a struggle to keep it down, she vomited. Just as she did, she felt her connection to the Goddesses that help deploy her magic was now gone, the line between them thinned out and disappeared. "Ooh my god!" she said dropping her mouth open as she opened her eyes wide to stare at her surrounding that now had completely changed. The soft green lushes park she was now in warped to a different zone: a desert. Her eyes saw the work of magic behind this all, and she quickly felt the now uncontrolled force touching her and others around the world. Nature and it's beings (animals) felt it as well and some dying from the nature of it.

With but a thought along with gestures and a spoken word, she teleported herself to her home, in hopes of looking through her grimoire to find out what the cause of this unbalance was.

Far away in another dimension, the confused entity known as Hymesi, feels the effect of the rift as well. Causing her to become more dulusional and salvage. Using the now thin veil that binds worlds, realities, and dimensions apart. She successfully breaks through to the world where Charmix inhabits, the same method she used when she scattered the Vine Titans throughout time. Now even more less sane, she bent herself with the hopes of finding her long lost companion.

Call of The Gods

Patrolling the vast skies of Gaia's Earth for anything strange, mighty Alceus did not mind flying alongside the majestic birds. They had an extraordinary gift, the gift of flying. And while that gift has been somewhat abused by the recent emergence of so called metahumans, man itself still yearns for the ability of natural flight. Despite having access to planes and helicopters, there is simply something magnificent about unassisted flight, something that for thousands of years, man thought was only possible for birds, angels and gods. The Sun's presence in the sky was barely noticeable this day, it's radiance was countered by incredible cloud cover. "I guess Apollo's not feeling it today", Alceus chuckled, diving from the sky, escaping the whirlwind of clouds. Below him were the imposing Rocky Mountains. Soon strong colds winds began to blow at him, slapping him across the face and the chest. Then just as he was about to fly past a tundra, Alceus' god-like eyes spotted something strange. He simply had to see this for himself. However, as he flew closer and closer to the ground, he knew that his eyes were not deceiving him. Gently landing on the tundra, Alceus' jaw dropped. "What? This doesn't make any sense", he murmured, scratching his helmet. What stood before him was a living dinosaur, an Allosaurus. "Hey, I can't read Athena's thoughts or anything from her mind. What's happening?", Alceus wondered, sounding a little worried. Could this be linked to the sudden appearance of a dinosaur that should very well be extinct. Suddenly, in a heartbeat, the savage reptile lunged at a distracted Alceus who managed to dodge the Allosaurus' attack. "It's a good thing you're extinct because I won't have a problem with doing this", and in no less than a second, The Champion literally knocked the dinosaur's head into the sky with a thunderous uppercut. Blasting into the skies once again to continue his patrol, he couldn't help but wonder why a dinosaur would even exist anymore. Just then as the Sun began to set, Alceus sensed an enormous and powerful presence approaching the world. "What the hell is that?!", he shouted, surprised at the amount of power he was sensing. As a drop of cold sweat ran down the left side of his forehead, Alceus would soon realize that there is much more to this situation than he realizes.

On the verge of taking action, the valiant Son of Zeus felt a numbing sensation overcome his entire body. "Huh? I can't move", how was this happening? As far as he knew there was no dimensional energy in sight but it was clear that he was now physically paralyzed. In a matter of seconds, the Olympian Champion dropped from the sky and began plummeting to the ground, apparently destined for a powerful impact. While it was nothing he couldn't endure, he was more worried that he would confront whatever presence that was while physically paralyzed. He'd be completely useless. And just as he was inches away from hitting the ground, Alceus disappeared. But where to? Almost as if he had lost consciousness, a confused Alceus found himself with his ability to move regained but he was in an odd place filled with clouds everywhere, in fact he was even standing on them. "Where am I?", he wondered, he certainly wasn't on Earth anymore. Before any further questions could be asked, the mysterious location's appearance took a drastic alteration. The clouds instantly vanished and a bright white light enveloped the entire place, a light that would blind any mortal eye. Before him, appeared the leader of every major Earth pantheon. Alceus saw Vishnu, Odin, Izanagi, Zeus and many others. "Why have you brought me here?", Alceus asked boldly despite standing to face to face with the world's most powerful gods. Zeus was the first to speak, it was his responsibility to tell his son of the situation, the others were simply there to stress the importance of the current crisis. "My son, we as the Gods of the Earth have called upon you, the chosen Champion of the Earth, elected by all of it's gods. Part of your position is to protect the Earth from threats and we have brought you here to inform you. The Great Old Ones have returned. They put us all in danger.. and if we the gods of the Earth are in danger, so is the Earth", Zeus explained. "I'll accept this objective, it's my job after all. But who are the Great Old Ones?", Alceus asked seriously, his curiosity growing with each second. "All you must know is that they are a danger to us all", Zeus' answer was brief, he clearly did not want to speak any longer about the Great Old Ones. "Alceus do you know why you only have on counterpart from an alternate universe? That is because the rest have been destroyed in the past when two beings of great magical prowess clashed. They brought the destruction of many dimensions and alternate timelines. And now the space-time continuum is in danger once again. It is being destroyed, slowly but steadily. You must bring an end to this", Zeus continued, "To stop this, find a girl named Charmix. She'll be a great help... maybe", Zeus concluded. Nodding his head in determination, Alceus was returned to the Earth.

"I need to speak to Athena. Our minds aren't linked anymore", brave Alceus thought, taking off into the skies. Flying at insane speeds, the powerful superhero's body began to radiate a flame-like yellow aura of violent energy. Closing in on the speed of light, The Champion made a swift turn to a specific location in the sky, flying towards Mount Olympus. Finally reaching the speed of light, Alceus knew that if he continued at this rate any longer, his body will begin to tear away at itself. Instantly, the determined hero flew into the invisible portal near the peak of the mountain, a portal used by the gods in the past to travel to the dimension of Olympus but only through reaching the speed of light. This move could be seen as reckless, by entering the portal, Alceus was vulnerable to the dimensional energies eating away at him. However, he fought them off valiantly and bravely. "I have to see Athena!", he shouted, jumping out of the portal and into the outskirts of Olympus. Quickly breaking past the golden gates of the godly dimension, Alceus ran as fast as he could to his sister Athena. Upon entering her room, he found her lying on her bed, resting. "Athena?", Alceus said just above a whisper as he walked towards her. Waking up to find her brother at her side, Athena smiled. Her skin was a little pale and her hair was not as silky as it usually is. "Our minds aren't linked anymore. Is there something going on with you?", Alceus asked, concerned for her wellbeing. "Unfortunately there is", she sighed. "Strange anomalies are affecting the magical world. I am not sure how they emerged but apparently as a result, my magical powers.. they have been weakened. I can only use some of them, but my ability to link our minds is gone for now. The link itself is nearly unbreakable but if I'm too weak to maintain it then it will end. Right now I am left only with my knowledge and my physical strength. And to make matters worse, the Great Old Ones have returned", she said, almost lamely. "Go back to Earth and find a sorcerer. A powerful one may be able to help you solve this problem. Be careful Alceus. Because of this, space-time is being destroyed. Existence itself could end", Athena warned. "I won't fail. I've been told to find a girl named Charmix, they say she might be able to help but I'll see", and without giving Athena the opportunity to reply, Olympus' Champion left the gates of Olympus and walked into the invisible portal, returning to Mount Olympus. "I guess I'll start looking for this Charmix. But where?", he asked himself as he took off in the skies, flying in search of this girl. This was no doubt the biggest challenge Alceus has ever faced.

Mount Olympus: Foolish men and their foolish games.  Oh Athena, how father Zeus loves you so.  I will never understand it.  How long can a beloved wife be ignored?  My voice is not being heard.  Why is that you ask?  Because of the laughter of youth.  An welcomed child roams my kingdom.   Is it not obvious who this child must be?  He is but a constant reminder of my failings as Queen.

The chuckles that escape the meeting room are from Alceus.  Rather disgusting but these optimistic morons speak of something of my interest.  They converse about a mantle passed to the Asian kind.  A title that has haunted my granddaughter for some time now.  Charmix.  I feel the barriers breaking between pantheons.  It slowly withers away.  Am I not right?  I fear the redheaded child will be our demise if not catered too.  And with the return of Charmix, interactions are to be interesting.

Alceus will solve this problem as he always has.  Intrigue has been placed upon the boy as of late.  And even though, I have begged my husband to take Clarice in. he exclaims that she will be forever denied.  He denied her welcome to our home because of her half-bred flesh.  Mirror, Mirror on the wall.  Who is the fairest of them all?  Tell me the truth.  Tell me nothing but the truth.  Because I fear the demise of my kin.  I wish not to die.  I only hope to help the one who can save us all.

Let it be my granddaughter who I shall help become our champion.  Or let it be the Son of Thunder.  He is my Perseus after all.  And the children of Zeraz have always had meaning to me.  Do not question my motive.  My union with their bloodline has purpose.  They will soon appoint me the sole ruler of this realm and it shall happen!  It shall happen because I am the All-Mother of Earth.

Her fingers caresses the vibranium mirror.  It corrodes upon her delicate touch.  An old face stretching out, screeches like a dying harpy.  It says to her what she cannot hear.  It will take the combined efforts of Clara Mass and the Olympian Champion.  Only a united front of magic shall stop the shattering of time's many wheels.   "AH!"  She is angry at its words.  How dare he say the granddaughter of Hera be not strong enough to handle such a threat on her own?  In a fit of rages does she disregard its many speakings, and tears mirror apart with her metallic nails.

All-Mother cannot fathom aiding Alceus in one of his many labors.  She sits lonesome.  Thinking and thinking as to what she will do.  "Charmix is not the issue."  Soft hands lift the head of a somber Queen.  The gentle gaze of hazel eyes soothe the brooding tension.  Merola of the All-Seers; stands before Olympus' most manipulative.  "Why, have you come?", Hera asked, worried of what Merola's presence represented.

"Shh don't speak.  Hymesi is the key to murdering your husband.  The female entity has reemerged on our plane.  It will be on a chase.  All of those connected to the astral plane and beyond will battle.  Some to save the Asian sex doll as a way to protect our reality but they are wrong.  She must perish.  If we can get Clarice to momentarily absorb Hymesi, we will be able to alter this world into our own.  What is it?  Afraid of stepping up to the plate?  Oh Hera.  My dear, dear Hera.  What has time done to thee?"

Tenebrasque IN: "So, what happened last night?", Lady Lyn calmly asks while sipping on a cup of lemonade.  "Michael came to me again.  Asking that I leave this wretched place but I just can't.", Clarice responded kind of anxiously.   Talks between the two women had become a common tendency in the past few weeks.  A bond forged from pregnancy.  A long exhale touches the face of Clarice, a part of her dreaming of climbing over this table making hardcore love but as of now she is attached.  Married to a man she'd never expect to adore.

"Clara Mass if I may, I have to say you're a babbling buffoon.  You are godlike.  There is no denying that.  I have seen it countless times in your many adventures.  Yet, you have failed to be what is expected of you.  Hiding from the prophecy will only prolong the inevitable.  Its sad.  Your skills are dwindling--"  UCK!  Her hand pulls on the head of the doppelganger.  Effectively ripping the head from its neck.  "I knew you were fake as soon as you asked about my troubles.", spoke the bothered villainous.

"Is this an act from Merola or Hera hoping to get me back to Olympus?  Same thing, different---AH!"  A silver scythe cuts the lower abdomen.  The headless creature regenerating as if nothing has occurred.  On her knees, Clarice hollers as the child kicks and opens his mouth to unheard cries.  A blinding light emits from her eyes.  Fire runs rampant as it surrounds the a weakened goddess and the arrival of Many-Angled Ones?  Or are they something more?  These things speak in unison.  Their voices both demanding and intimidating.

"You must destroy Charmix.  The fate of the world depends on it.  And if you do not.....that child will be delivered."  Images of exciting life styles, worlds of death and decay, as well as a lover she kisses in the deep thralls of passion.  The world is being contorted.  Shattered Dimensions.  Wheels of Time.  It is all her fault.  Gloomix.  Charmix.  Whatever, she calls herself now.  Whomever, wears the mantle nowadays.  She must be handled accordingly.  "Why would you have me destroy her?  Saving her will restore the balance---"  Two hands grab her by the trachea.  Eyes strained by the gradual loss of oxygen.

"Find Hymesi.  Embrace it.  Destroy Charmix and the Olympian Champion.  And all will be well.  You will listen.  You will obey the words of your mot--masters."  Their tight grip is released.  Her unborn son is afraid to move.  State of the art protective gears wraps around her still voluptuous frame.  Clarice quickly wraps crimson hair with a white scrunchy,.  Violet eyes staring blankly into space.  Her entire body teleporting elsewhere.  And so it begins as it always does.  Controlled by beings she knows nothing of.  A part of her knows this to be the workings of Hera or Merola but there is a bigger picture to all of this.

She will forgive me.  Clarice though not a pawn at first must become one.  She will do as we order.  This world will be ruled by two Queens and than one.  I can see it now.  Zeus, Athena, and Apollo my worshipers.  My sexual slaves and victims to my speeches.  But a smudge of me believes this will only make matters worse for the tethers of time.  I suppose I will have to wait and see.

I feel like i'm in peace. I don't hear a single sound that is flowing around me. It's nothing but quiet here. The grass that i walk on seems almost perfect. All around me is only an endless prairie. The sky from above is only a faint blue. There isn't one single cloud in the sky.

When looking back down at the grass i notice that there is a White Carnation all by itself. I bend down to take a better glimpse of it. The flower seems as though it has never been touched before. It's perfect.

As i touch the plant it slowly begins to fall apart into nothing but ash. A calm wind comes from behind me and it picks it up. It carefully carries it into the distance as it forms itself into a new object. When i stand back up i realize that there is a coffin standing in the middle of the prairie all alone. The color of it is a deep blood Red. I walk up to it not afraid, but with the feeling of curiosity.

It stands in front of me. I want to open in it but i'm not too sure if i want to really know what will be revealed. It appearing to me could have a purpose of it being open. It needs me to open it. I can't just push the thought away. I grab a hold of the handles of the opening and i lift the heavy lid off.

Dear God.. No.

It can't be.. How?.. She's.. She is... Moonglow is dead.. Her body looks perfectly normal as it sleeps for eternity. It should be deteriorating by now. I stare down at her wondering about her. Why did she have to leave so soon? Her eyes then slowly open.

I jump up from my bed because of the strange dream. I could feel my heart beat pounding faster and faster. I haven't dreamed of her in a long time. With everything that has been going on Yuki hasn't exactly been on my mind much lately. This could be a sign that i should remember her more often. If she wouldn't have passed away she would be here right now. Her and I would be driving Talon insane with our very girly moments. I actually wonder what would happen if she used a spell to turn Charles' hair pink. That would be funny. Charles, Yuki, and I. The three of us are what reformed the Vine Titans. We were a Trinity. A friendship that will never be broken even through death. No matter what Charles and I still love her. We still talk about her from time to time, but with us leading the Champions now it is a bit more harder.

On the end of my bed i see my puppy Zachery staring right at me as he begins to wake himself up. Besides Charmix he was the last one who really got to see her before her death. Since her spell for some reason didn't work on him. It's mind boggling to realize that he witnessed the whole entire thing. Her transformation of the Tower, the demons that she released. I wonder how he even survived it all.

I need to refresh my mind.. Maybe i should go back to where it all happened. "Zachery.. Wanna go for a long walk?"

Hours later i find myself standing with Zachery right in front of the old VT Tower. It is broken down from the fight that happened with Charmix and Moonglow when she went insane. I was mad at Charmix for what she did, but it took me a while to figure out she did it for a reason. Moonglow could have destroyed us all.

We walk inside of it and i begin to recall many memories that happened here. Bringing War Killer in when i found him all alone. The first time i invited Yuki here after school from school. The first day i brought Zachery home. Taking Hotaru into the team. Solor coming back home. Animal Kid, and Cherry Bomb joining the team. There are more better memories here than bad ones. I need to remember that more.

As the two of us walk i begin to feel an odd feeling growing inside of me. Looking down at Zachery i could see that his ears are now down. Something isn't right here. The two of us turn around to leave but the entrance is now shut off. This isn't good. I even picked the best time to leave my Champions of Peace communicator at home. From the shadows i see glowing red eyes. It is like time is reversing itself self to what it must have looked like while i was lost in time.

I could feel a yank in the leash when Zachy pulls me into a very dark hallway as we runaway from whatever those beings are. I look back to see that they are following us. I throw a lightbolt at them, but it seems to do absolutely nothing. Before my eyes i notice this hallway lead to all of our old bedrooms. The first one that i see is Moonglow's old room. The two of us walk in the dark abandoned room. For some reason it looks like how we left it before we moved to Canada. I notice a very ancient VT communicator lying on her bed. I don't think it even works anymore.. It wouldn't hurt to try.

"Calling all former Titans..This is Cellphone Girl. Please if you could hear this return to the old tower. It is like the past is coming back to life here, and i walked in on the worst moment possible. Zachery and I are trapped inside with these Demons. I need your he-" A spark flew out of the communicator making me quickly dropping it. I hope someone got the message.

Shifting through the rubble and broken steel a seventeen year old boy shuffled through what was left of the decaying building. It had been years since anyone had even been near it in fact the last time he’d been here he was the one that had destroyed it.

Why am I here again” he spoke down his cell phone “I mean what’s so important about this book? How’s it going to help me In fact why is it mine again?” The confusion in his voice was obvious, a inaudible voice spoke back to him “Yeah I know weird things have been happening to me…..yes I know about those shields……I know were magic born give me some credit…….Okay, okay sis I get it the books bound to me. God do you ever shut up” Hanging up his cell phone Michael returned his attention to the building over two years ago it had been his home, but that was then and this is now he was only here for one reason and that was it he’d leave afterwards and never look back.

Making his way through his “home” memories washed upon him, visions of the past both good and bad it felt odd…creepy being back here it didn’t feel right. Picking up the pace Michael made his way down to the basement, he wished he hadn’t it was even worse the cold, the dampness made him feel even more uncomfortable. Like above the place was partly destroyed his lightning bolt had done more damage than what he’d thought. But his destination was in perfect condition not a scratch or dent, there wasn’t even any dust settling on the surfaces. He made his way to the door and reached for the handle only it wouldn’t open the door was locked. Stepping back Michael used his mutant abilities and a bolt of lightning shot fourth only to rebound back colliding with the wall behind him.

The door was protected he should have known his mother was always prepared it was one of the many things that annoyed him. He knew he wouldn’t be able to break it down with the rest of his weather abilities they would just rebound off the shield exactly the same. However he did have a better Idea, concentrating Michael summoned his soul dagger out of thin air. Gripping the dagger it was cold to the touch, silver energy radiated from its core. Exhaling Michael lunged at the door and in a swiping motion the dagger broke through the enchantment protecting the door as well as cutting into the wood itself.

Kicking the entrance down he found himself inside a library, shelves of books lined the walls each containing a vast knowledge of whatever topic they were based on. hung from the high ceilings and the centre of the room stood a solid stone statue of a woman. Another things Michael hated about his mother he ego was larger than that of a gods. Venturing further into the room just past the statue there was an elevated surface that looked just as his sister described it. Taking flight Michael was in the surface in a mere matter of seconds, it was higher than he expected and he was able to get a full scope of the room not only were there hundreds of books here but scattered across the room were weapons swords, maces, shields you name it. On the elevated surface their were other item’s small trinkets here and there but sitting in the very centre of all this mess was what he had came here for a small book sat on the table it was small enough to fit in your hand a note was stuck to the front Michael recognised the handwriting but ignored it instead he picked up the book and opened it to the first page.

It was hard to read half in Latin half in English but by piercing together words he came to the realisation these were beginners spells, excitement took over and Michael flicked through the spells finding the perfect one. Looking back at his mother’s statue his trademark smirk crossed his face “Eradico” a surge of power flowed through his body and the statue cracked and shattered in front of his eyes.

He’d had his fun and he’d got what he came for leaving his “home” Michael took off into the air Champion Island wasn’t far from here and he was pretty fast flier it wouldn’t take him too long to get there. ON the way back he had time to think what he was getting himself involved in his own magic was basic he’d need help lots of help but who’d teach him? Despair..no she couldn’t she could only perform light magic Michael needed someone who was more well rounded. The only other magic user he could think of was Charmix but the last time they meet they didn’t leave on good terms. She was confusing to Michael I mean he could never tell which side she was on, how could someone change constantly but there would be no point in asking her anyways one he didn’t know where she was and two she’d probably rather punch him in the face than teach him anything.

The sun was rising on he’d been out pretty late he didn’t feel tired. Landing down on Champion Island Michael hadn’t taken a few steps before a sudden faintness had taken over him, his vision blurred as things shifted out of focus he noticed the temperature had dropped but far too fast it shouldn’t even have been possible to be this cold in their location. As his eyes refocused the island was covered in snow and ice his jaw dropped from shock he was mesmerised by it, he was shaken from his trance when a snarl from an animal tore through the snowy conditions. Looking round a saber-toothed cat growled at him “No way” it lunged at him without hesitation Michael summoned his soul dagger and stabbed the beast in the stomach with a yelp it fled. Location: Champions City, Champions Island…

A bright light flashed through the windows of Champions Tower, filling the building with an intense light that would blind anyone who witnessed it. Like a million bolts of blinding electricity going off at once that over took the entire island home of the superhero team known as the Champions of Peace in an unimaginable force of spectacular power. His eyes flickering open as the light flashed through his office window, the hero known as War Killer found himself literally drooling on a pile of paperwork that covered most of his desk. Since being made leader of the C.O.P. the Star-Spangled Hero had found himself swamped with mountains of papers and documents that needed to be signed and gone over, different files on multiple heroes and villains, along with other team’s around the world. It was a wonder to him how Mistress Redhead was able to keep her sanity with so much work placed upon her shoulders.

But for that moment his mind had been taken off of all the work and duties that came with his new position, drawn to the window like a moth draws to a bright light, as to the hero’s complete shock he found himself staring down at Champion City being complete covered in a thick blanket of icy snow. “Snow…but how?” Charles asked out loud as before his very eyes a blizzard was now raging across the entire island. How could this be the young Champion began to ask himself, coming up with theory after theory; was it some kind of super-villain or was this mother nature’s doing or, even worse, maybe the whole island had been teleported into a snow globe?!

But before War Killer could hypothesize, his eyes were directed almost uncontrollable to the wall where he had hung different photo’s he placed there after moving into his new office. Different portraits of fond memories from his past, but as he looked upon the photo’s, he began to notice a reoccurring phenomenon. From a photo of when he, CellPhoneGirl, and Mooglow reformed the Vine Titans, to one night where the whole team had gone out for pizza after defeating a super-villain, to even that one night when Yuki and Blair had manage to talk him into going out clubbing with them. While everything else remained the same in the photos, Charles began to notice that slowly Moonglow’s image was literally beginning to fade from each photograph!

Suddenly another flash of blinding light came shining in through the window, causing Charles to cover his eyes from the bright light only to find that the whole tower was suddenly gone as he was now falling downwards towards the ground below. Reaching out for anything to grab on to, his body fell through the tops of jungle trees, his body tearing and ripping through large leafs and vines, his body getting yanked and pulled as vines wrapped around his body only to snap as his body continued it’s rapped decent, before finally coming to a crashing halt upon the ground. For a moment he simple remained lying upon the ground as the rest of his body caught up with him.

Digging his fingers into the snowy dirt, he pulled his body upwards to where he was now partly sitting up, letting out a chocking tough as his crushed lungs gasped for air. His eyes staring up towards the trees, seeing a large hole between the limbs and vines where his body had come crashing through, it was thanks to the jungle breaking his fall was he able to avoid greater injury. Slowly picking himself up, using the trunk of a tree to prop his body against as he groaned in pain, his eyes scanned his surroundings to find only jungle as far as he could see, with a large rocky mountain standing where Champions Tower once stood mere moments ago. Literally bouncing his body from tree trunk to tree trunk, War Killer was determined to make his way to the shoreline of the island where he could have an easier chance to circle the island for signs of any of his fellow Champions.

Breaking through the trees, he found the beach covered in a light blanket of white snow as well, but soon realized that he was not alone on that beach. “Aye you! Where in the blimmy seas are we boy?!” A man shouted. As he approached he was wearing a brown trench coat, a wooden peg for one leg, an eye patch over his left eye, and a curly black beard coming to his waste. Followed by a group of more men dressed in a similar fashion, the only word the confused hero could even think to describe them as was, “Pirates.” He whispered as the black bearded man approached him. “Are ye deaf-eared boy? Answer my question!” Still a bit taken aback, Charles shock his head as he pulled himself together, “Uh…I’m sorry, but what?” The man swiftly wrapped his arm tightly around Charles’ neck, directing his view towards a large wooden ship out off the coast.

Along with the snowy beach, the waters surrounding the islands were now covered in ice what appeared to have encased the whole island, including this group's ship. “What has happened to my ship? One minute where sailing on the open seas, next thing we know we’re on an island that appeared out of--”

"Calling all former Titans..This is CellPhoneGirl. Please if you could hear this return to the old tower. It is like the past is coming back to life here, and I walked in on the worst moment possible. Zachery and I are trapped inside with these Demons. I need your he-"

Blair voice sounded from Charles’ communicator, even after he had joined the C.O.P., he had integrated his old Vine Titan’s communicator into his C.O.P. one just encase. But before he could reply to her message, the bearded pirate knocked Charles to the ground as he pulled out his sword, “What is that you got there boy, some kind of magic talking box?! You’re a sorcerer aren’t ye?! You cast some kind of spell on our ship and planned on turning us into jellyfish didn’t ya!” Rising his sword into the air as he prepared to bring down upon the poor hero, normally Charles would be able to take a group of morons like this out in a pinch but due to his injuries he was lucky to had made it to the beach, much less fight a group of pirates.

“Prepare to meet thy end trickster!” But with a loud roar, a large dragon-like beast burst out of the snowy jungle tress, its body crashing upon the sandy beach as fires come-forth from its mouth. “It’s a monster! Run!!!” The group of men shouted as they scurried across beach, tripping and stumbling over themselves. The large beast ceased its flames as it made its way over towards the defenseless hero, but as it came closer a large smile grew across Charles’ face, “LARRY!!!” He shouted with joy as his once tiny little pet dragon, Larry the Dragon, was now standing over him as a gigantic creature. Using it’s now fully grown tail to help Charles up off the ground; the young hero didn’t waste time asking questions, not with everything else that had happened to him today. No, leaping onto Larry’s back there was only one thing that War Killer’s mind was now focused on, “Let’s go, boy! Blair needs our help!” And with a flap of his mighty wings, Larry the Dragon rose into the clouds, their next destination: Vine City.

Friday Harbor, Washington

The young teenage ninja walked down the chill streets of the current town she was living in, Friday Harbor in the state of Washington. It was a busy and calm town known for harvesting jellyfish. Yes… was a dreadful boring town, mostly made up of retired old smelling people or sweaty fishy smelling men, but it was now home to Hotaru and had been for the past three months.

There was just something about the ocean view from the town that calmed her soul. After everything that had been going on in her life, she felt she needed someone peaceful to be, away from the ‘hero’ life she used to always look forward to. Here she was just simply Hotaru, a quiet Asian girl who recently moved into the town and was renting a small apartment by self. Some people even began to make up stories about her, saying that she was a drug dealer, because no one ever saw her work, and yet she had money. Other people said she moved from Japan because she shamed her family. All the young girl could do was laugh.

Yes she didn’t work, but that was only because of the money her parents put aside for herself and Sozuko while they worked in We Are Legend. IT was more than enough to rent a small apartment and get all the necessities to survive.

Tonight was just like any other night, she went to the store, bought some ice cream, rented some movie called Twilight… one of the girls recommended it to her, saying it was a movie about vampires… or something, from the girls reaction to the movie, she figured it would have to be good… right? Everything was fine, typical, nothing out of the ordinary at all. Walking outside she looked around to find sweet old couples walking down the street, holding each other’s hands as they made their way down the brightly lit streets. There was always specials going on at different restaurants for them, since there was so many of them.

But making a turn around the next corner, a bright flash of light engulfed everything around the young girl, causing her to drop her bags and shield her eyes as she heard screams all around her. When the flash vanished, she rubbed her eyes a few times, trying to regain her vision when she suddenly heard gasps of surprise all around her. Next to every person on the street… was a child, no older than ten, standing before them. The children looked confused as the elderly had a shocked look on their faces.

Suddenly Hotaru felt a tug on the back of her shirt, and upon turning around she was looking downward at child that was… “What in the world…” looking right back up her, was a younger version of herself! But there was no way! Caught off guard she stumbled back in shock. “Who are you?” Hotaru demanded.

“I-I’m sorry.” The girl looked around fear in her eyes. “I-I’m Uchiha Hotaru… and I think I’m lost.” She looked around, as if trying to find a familiar face.

“Who’s your mother and father?” Hotaru kept her distance.

“My mommy is Feral Nova… and my daddy is Uchiha NeVann and my my brother… Sozuko… I cant find him.”

She couldn’t comprehend what just happened, but it was going on all around her too with everyone else. Every person around here had a younger version of themselves standing before them, all of them just as confused as Hotaru. Something was going on… and if this younger vision of herself had something to do with it… then it wasn’t going to be safe to be standing in the middle of the streets with her.

Taking a deep breath she looked back down at her younger self. “Come on Taru, I don’t think its safe here.” She outstretched her hand. “I’ll help you, but you need to trust me.”

The child looked at the hand and nodded her head, all Hotaru could do was chuckle to herself, she was too trusting when she was younger, its why she was always getting into trouble. As soon as the two grasped hands, Hotaru preformed a couple of hand seals and in a puff of smoke the vanished from the middle of the town.

Coming back to her apartment Taru gasped in surprise as she realized they just teleported. “YOU’RE A NINJA TOO!?” the young girl yelled out in excitement.

Hotaru laughed. “Not only am I a ninja…” Closing her eyes she grit her teeth as an energy began to surround her, reopening them again her eyes showed the sharingan.

Taru gasped even more, clapping her hands with excitement. “YOU’RE AN UCHIHA LIKE ME?!” she yelled out.

Hotaru smirked, she never realized how much energy she had as a child. But telling her that they were the same person… might not be such a good idea right now, it could change the future for all she knew, something she couldn’t afford to do. “How old are you Taru?” she blinked her eyes a couple of times, her eyes going back to normal.

“TEN!” Taru yelled out, she was beyond excited right now.

“Taru.” Hotaru walked to the couch, patted it to motion for her younger self to sit next to her. “I have an important question to ask you. What were you doing… right before you appeared to me?”

Taru stayed silent for a moment. “I was talking to one of the Young WAL members… her name is Blair, she’s really nice and she and mom hang out a lot.”

It was around ten years of age that Hotaru did meet Blair, which means the two were beginning their friendship. “What happened?”

“I don’t know, she was asking me if I knew how to work a big rocket thing that mom gave her and when I was about to tell her I didn’t know, I was here.”

Hotaru nod her head for a moment, she never remembered traveling to the future when she was younger… I mean... someone came FROM the future to KILL her... but never her doing the traveling. Maybe this Hotaru was from an alternate world? Or maybe this did happen to her in the past, but just doesn’t remember it due to some… mind… alternating thing that happens when you travel time? Ugh… trying to figure this out was going to suck…

While Hotaru was busy thinking however, Taru was walking around the apartment, no pictures… no real decorations other than a couple of pictures of random landscapes. Then walking over to some junk drawers she found a small collection of what looked to be communicators. The first one Taru recognized, it was the same communicators that her parents used over at WAL, arching her brow she picked it up only to look at the one that was next to it, one that had VT on it. Grabbing it she pressed a green button and suddenly a voice came from it.

Hotaru’s head popped up as the voice echoed through her apartment.

"Calling all former Titans… This is Cellphone Girl. Please if you could hear this return to the old tower. It is like the past is coming back to life here, and i walked in on the worst moment possible. Zachery and I are trapped inside with these Demons. I need your he-"

Little Taru was seen rushing to Hotaru with panic. “BLAIR IS IN TROUBLE WE HAVE TO SAVE HER!”

Hotaru grabbed the communicator from Taru. “Don’t go touching things your not suppose to.” Ignoring what the ten year old just said.

“BUT BLAIR! SHE’S IN TROUBLE! SHE’S MY FRIEND WE HAVE TO SAVE HER!”

Hotaru clenched her jaw. “Yeah well she was my friend too… she WAS my best friend, but you know what… she’s not anymore.” With bitterness she stood up and tossed the communicator back on the couch.

“You’re friends with Blair and you wont even HELP her!?”

Hotaru balled up her fists. “WELL SHE DIDN’T HELP ME!” her slammed her hand on a wall. “When I was alone, and afraid she wasn’t there for ME. NO ONE WAS!” She snapped. “It’s a cold, dark world Taru, and its best you learn now that making friends, wont get you any where in life, just your own blood, sweat and tears will get you through life, nothing else.”

Taru’s eyes began to swell with tears, but didn’t say a single word, instead she grabbed the communicator and began walking to the front door.

With a sigh, after realizing what she said, Hotaru, in a softer voice spoke. “Taru… where are you going?”

“You complain of having no friends… but to have a friend, you have to be a friend.” She turned around to face Hotaru. “and the death of a friend is equivalent to the loss of a limb, and I will NOT lose a limb!”

It was one of the few words of wisdom that her Tio Obi told her when she was younger. It caught her off guard, striking at her heart like a spear. Maybe there was a reason her younger self was here. With that she walked into her room and grabbed her old sword and the purple lightsaber that her Tio Obi gave her when he was training her to be a jedi. Handing Taru her old blade, she looked up at her with confusion.

“When a friend is in trouble, don’t annoy them by asking if there is anything you can do. Think up something appropriate and do it.”

Taru smiled as she grabbed the blade that was obviously too big for her and flung it across her back.

“Ready?” Hotaru asked, looking downward at herself.

“READY!”

With that Hotaru preformed a few hands seals and again, in a puff of smoke, they were gone and teleported in front of the old VT tower that was practically destroyed.

“WOAH!” Taru yelled out taking a few steps forward. “WHAT IS THIS PLACE!?”

“Vine Titan Tower.”

One hour, 24 minutes ago

Within his secret base in an undisclosed location, X-Factor sat and watched the fluxuating energy readings on the monitor in front of him. The device that monitored this had been spurting out data that the magical energies that it discovered a few hours was growing more powerful by the second. “Normally, I’d stay away from this sort of thing, but this may be the rare exception. Whatever created this energy pocket has allowed it to gain enough power to warp reality itself, and that’s something I can work with.” He pulled the keyboard in front of him closer and began typing into it furiously. He began tracking the energy in an attempt to match it with the known magic users who wielded such power. Only one person matched.

Cecilia Hsu, Charmix.” He slouched back into his chair and began rubbing the bridge of his nose with his right index finger and thumb as he began thinking. “It’s going to be a big hassle if this is going to work, and there won’t be a lot of time to do it in.” The mysterious being got up from his chair and began to pace around the room. Plans, blueprints, and ideas raced through his head as he attempted to think of a way to achieve his goal. The mysterious being stopped as soon as he was struck by inspiration. “I’ve got it,” he said as he jumped back into his chair and began typing furiously. Numerous projections and blueprints began appearing as the grin on his face grew more and more. “Yes, Yes, YES!” he said as the plans were nearly completed.

Above him, numerous mechanical arms and began moving and grabbing various things from metal plates to large and advanced metal devices. The arms began combining these things, welding them together, connecting wires, and inputting data. While they put his device together, he began to remove his armor, taking it off one piece at a time and began going through various files on his computer. Each file contained copied pages from ancient texts and mythical objects from various time periods that were either discovered by heroes and civilians and those the government kept locked away in a secret location. Each symbol that appeared as he opened the files had unique magical properties that produced various effects. Some enhanced the physical attributes of the one who bore it on their body; others cursed the souls of its victims. He ignored these and continued looking through the newest versions of the decrepit tomes. When he found the seal or ancient marking that produced the effect he desired, he grabbed a small laser pen from the desk and began carving the marks onto the back of the plates. He made sure each symbol was perfectly copied before placing it back on his body.

The process continued for several hours, but he eventually placed the last metal plate into place. He looked at the progress of the machine before looking back at the screen displaying the planetary energy readings. He was only able to read a small section of the data before the screen transformed into an old television set from 1941, which began playing the old Alan Dale Show. “The reality bending powers are becoming more sporadic. I need to grab her now, or this magic will overpower the seals and transform me as well.” The old television transformed back to what it had been only a few moments ago, and he began to hack into the satellites to find the one he sought. The satellites scanned the planet until it found his subject. He read the coordinates displayed before the screen transformed again, this time into a highly advanced holographic projector. X-Factor looked at the machine and said calmly to the computer, “How long until the machine is ready?” The computer began calculating and came up with the solution in seconds. “Two hours, thirty-seven minutes, and eleven point two seconds.” He nodded before turning and walking through the corridor towards the exit.

Present

X walked out from an alleyway in front of the home of Cecilia Hsu, an old Victorian walking cane in his hand and a nice top hat sitting awkwardly on the bat-like helmet. The metal knobbed handle on the cane was intricately adorned and it held a surprise inside for his plan. He casually walked across the street, walking blatantly in front of a car driving down the street. The vehicle tried to stop in time, but struck the unknown being straight on. The front caved in and the vehicle’s back end went up into the air before dropping back onto the ground. X continued on, completely unaffected by the collision and continued up to the house. When he reached the front door, he brought his hand up to the knocker and struck it against the door. The door blasted off its hinges and began flew a few feet before hitting the floor and sliding another few inches. “Excuse me!” he called as he walked into the home, “Your front door was open and I was hoping to talk to you.

X casually took off the top hat he was wearing and put it on the coat rack by the door. When he turned around, he saw Charmix halfway up the stairs. “Ah good, you’re home. I came here looking for the one responsible for warping reality around the world, and you happen to fit the bill.” With his free hand, he cracked his fingers with a sickening sound before making his way towards her. “And because I know you won’t listen to anything would say to convince you to come with me willingly, I’ll just take you out now and save myself some time.” With that, he leaned his cane on a wall and reached between his cloak and back. With split second timing, he whipped out two hand guns and began firing tranquilizer darts at the mistress of magic.

Her soft milky complexion grew even more pale, sick like a dog she was. Her body was straining, what ever this magical phenomena was, it was affecting all witches world wide and nature. She could hear the cries of animals and feel the total unbalance of witches feeling the same pain as she was, all trying to find out the cause of the event. Smudging the sweat from her forehead, she steadily flipped through pages in her spell book, "Okay Cecilia, breathe and stay strong." she assured her exhausted self. "A spell of revelations!" she said out loud as she was surprised such thing existed in her old family book. As she began to press forward for the ritual, she aligned candles facing the four directions, east, west, north, and south. Then she moved in circles calling the four elemental quarters. As she was about to press forward with the spell, she forgot one ingrediant that lies in her kitchen, rose petals.

Venturing quickly as she can in her weakened state to the kiten, she searched in her cabinents and found a medium sized vial containing the petals. As she slowly walked up the stairs, just from a few movements her body took, she began to sweat "Did it just get hotter?" she questioned herself. Suddenly her front door blasted open, “Excuse me!” the stranger spoke, “Your front door was open and I was hoping to talk to you.”. Strange, she thought, her mystical barriers should of been active, but with the crazed magic it was bound to fail and protect piratically. Trying to gleam in his thoughts she found herself unable too, of course he wasn't an organic life form but instead quite the opposite. Half way up the stairs, she looked down, “Ah good, you’re home. I came here looking for the one responsible for warping reality around the world, and you happen to fit the bill.”, then a crackled energy noise erupted from his hands and shot towards her, “And because I know you won’t listen to anything would say to convince you to come with me willingly, I’ll just take you out now and save myself some time.” he finished. Lifting her right hands, electrical energy shot from her finger tip and cancelled the blast, "Do you mind? You ignorant robo cop! Your intruding." she said angrily. As she rushed to her room, but another energy blast landed in front of her, blocking her off.

"Darn it." she hissed, there she faced a machination of hell, right before her eyes. He seems to think the cause of this disaster was from her, but she herself didn't even understand. But all that was on her mind was to send him away: to banish him from her home. He sent multiple tranquilizing darts at her, but she held them telekinetically in mid-air, and allowed them to fall to the floor. She then began casting a spell to send him away. "Thanatis Icatis Exodus." rough blazing winds forcefully summoned and ripped through the large front entrance of her mansion. Suddenly the spell backfired on her as well, the strong gusts of winds pushed her and the man back and surrounded them. Chairs, paitning, and house hold materials flew everywhere. Soon the winds that encompass them teleported them both away. While the seal protecting Hsu estate was once again active.

Her then appeared swirling in the same wind effect that teleported her and disperse when she landed in her location. Whist in mid-air, her body was falling from the skies. Trying to use her own power to lift her up and levitate, but just as before her magic were waxing and waning. She caught eye of another person flying in the air, "HELP!" she cried out, she could feel his magical essence, it reaked of the gods, "Help me please!" she screamed as her body fell faster and faster from the sky. While in the back of her mind, she could feel a call, someone was trying to find her. Normally she wouldn't feel this, no other witch would, but the unstable magics greatly shifted and wane her powers, "Exsisto existo." she uttered. Soon a man appeared before her: Umbra. Both caught in a fall, waiting on the sky champion to save them from the ground breaking death.

Somewhere else

"My dear sweet Yuki. I've found you at last." a voice said as she caress the tombstone of the long deceased girl, in Japan, on top of Mt. Hotaka, near the Azusa River.

He wasn’t surprised when she stopped the tranquilizer darts with her telekinesis, but he was surprised by the magical maelstrom that began to enshroud him. A mystic symbol appeared on his shoulder as it attempted to protect him from the winds, but the sheer force of it caused him to be blown away. For what seemed like hours, he was thrown around by the torrents, unable to see through moving air currents. His joints and armor groaned as they threatened to tear from his body, his cloak whipped around his body as he tumbled through the air.

The winds suddenly died and he began to fall through the calm winds for a few seconds. He only had enough time untangle his cloak from his head before he hit the roof of a building. X-Factor crashed through several floors before landing in the middle of a very elegant dining table.   The table collapsed and the food on top of it covered him, the floor, and the person who had been eating earlier. The metal man groaned as he began to pick himself up from the wreckage. When he was completely upright, he found himself staring up into the face of a young woman with an icy stare. The next moment, a massive fireball sent him flying through the walls and out onto the lawn of the decrepit looking estate.

X landed on his stomach as his body ached from the constant magical abuse. The woman casually walked through the hole in the wall and made her way towards her prey. When she finally reached him, she kicked him so that he would turn on his back and stomped down on his chest. “Destroying my home and disturbing my meal, you will be punished for such an outrage,” she said in a cold, yet seductive voice. She held her hand towards him and quietly uttered an incantation. Her hand became engulfed with a black flame for a moment before the flame flickered and died. She looked at her hand for a moment before he picked his head up and said to her in a calm and gloating tone, “If you destroy me now Selena, then how will you repay Charmix for disrupting your powers?” She looked at him with a look of confusion before picking him up by his chest plate and picking him up from the ground. “What did you say?!” she asked, a little bit of her anger escaping from her cool demeanor.

X-Factor grabbed her wrists and pushed away from her, setting himself free and giving him enough space to brush the dirt from his armor. “I’m sure a powerful sorceress like yourself can tell that something is causing your spells and hexes to become stronger or weaker than they should be. And I’m sure you can taste Cecilia’s magic all over.” He fought the urge to let out a cocky smile as he straightened up to look her in the face. He had to stroke the Black Queen’s ego so he could manipulate her for his own ends. “If you went to deal with her, she might use this spell she’s weaving to amplify her own powers and weaken you enough to take your powers for her own. If you spare my meaningless life, oh Mighty Queen,” he continued, getting on his knees and bowing to her, “then I can ensure you can exact vengeance upon that wretched witch.” He kept his forehead on the ground, with his hands stretched out towards her. In his head, he couldn’t help but feel confident that she would help him, but his outward self maintained the groveling worm that would obey her commands look he was portraying while he waited for her response.

Soaring through the skies in a fashion more majestic than any eagle, Alceus silent, drowned in his own thoughts, pierced the air like a bullet. "I wonder how I'm supposed to find this Charmix. Even with my speed it's not going to be easy, especially in the world's current state", valiant Alceus asked himself, wondering how long it will take him to find the most important piece of the puzzle. The sky seemed rather normal that day, or at least at that very moment. There were few clouds in the sky, most of them granted the Sun near-absolute dominance over the sky, while soft gentle winds warmly embraced the Son of Olympus. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, Alceus felt the powerful magical presence that he had sensed before, however, this time, it felt more overwhelming. Had it grown in power during his time with the other gods? How could power already monstrously tremendous, exponentially increase in such frighteningly little time? "What the hell?", surprised, Alceus knew that the world's only hope of survival rested on the shoulders of the superheroes willing to set aside their pride and differences and work together. And just then, The Champion felt inclined to stop his high-speed flying. Right then, in that instant moment, he halted. The violent aura of energy radiating around him suddenly dispersed as he focused his eyes on a particular section of the sky. Concentrating his eyes, the Olympian Champion's vision broke through the normal barriers of eyesight as before his very eyes, he saw magic all around him. It is usually invisible to most people unfamiliar with it but magic is indeed the purest form of energy in the universe.

Closely examining the mystical particles that make up magical energy, Alceus saw before him a marvel. "Amazing..", he could see the mystical network that linked together all the magic in the universe. Unfortunately, the hero's brief smile faded as he was quick to spot certain sections that did not please him. The magic network sported certain twisted, even disgusting sections. "Am I seeing right?", he asked himself, rubbing his eyes as the twisted sections spread across the network, slowly but effectively. Slowly the network of magic will become one colossal mystical aberration. "Do you see now Alceus?", Zeus' voice rang in his head, snapping him out of his worry and causing his vision to descend back to it's usual normality. "How serious this threat is. That even you, one who does not practice magic can see a tiny bit of the ongoing crisis in the universe? Now imagine.. just imagine what I can see. I have seen much more, I can see the very tears in reality, the ones that are slowly growing", the Skyfather's voice warned. While he wasn't exactly the greatest replacement for Athena's helpful wisdom, he's better than nothing. "I can see it father", The Champion replied, balling up his fist, determined to put a stop to this universal crisis. "Now you know that there is no other choice but to stop this mystical disease. On you rests the hope of the world.. for if you fail to find Charmix then there is no hope", Zeus' warning echoed in the young god's mind. "I won't fail you father", courageous Alceus promised, determination supporting the tone of his voice. His powerful father's disembodied voice disappeared, and with new-found determination, mighty Alceus darted off, continuing in his flawless flight, searching for the one known as Charmix. And for a brief moment, Alceus took the time to remember his mysterious relative and ally, Duchess. "Where is Duchess in all of this? I hope she's alright", before his concerns could go any further, something caught The Champion's attention.

A few feet away from him, he spotted two people falling through the sky, on course for a monstrous impact on the ground. Luckily, mighty Alceus' vision enabled him to see the falling duo clearly. A teenage girl and a teenage boy, how this was happening was beyond Alceus' speculations. The girl quickly cried for help, and right after hearing the second cry, The Champion flew over to both of them, grabbing them, placing them both over his shoulders. "Don't worry, I got ya", Alceus assured them as he searched for a landing spot. Almost immediately afterwards, powerful Alceus descended from the clouds, gently landing on the grassy plains below. Gently setting the two teenagers on the ground, Alceus removed his helmet and smiled calmly as he greeted the strangers. "Hey, I'm Alceus", he said, "So how did this end with you two falling from the sky?", he asked. However, just then, he sensed some magical energy in both of them. "!", perhaps they knew something about the state of the world.. or perhaps they didn't. "I sense some magic in the two of you. This might be stretching it but I was told that something is happening to the world, and it has to do with magic. Magic users like my sister are getting weaker because of it. Is it possible that you two might know something about this? And if so, would you be willing to help me stop all of this?", Alceus smiled, extending his hand for a firm handshake with the two. Little did Alceus know that he had just found the one person who is the key to ending this madness.

"Mommy." a little girl voice cried out, "What is it princess." a voice so long missed now spoke. "Isn't today the gathering?" she screamed in exitment, "Of course! How could I forget?!" with but a gesture, her clothes shifted to something more appropriate to her taste and for the event, "Is everything ready?" the mother asked, "Yessery it is. I can't wait to see aunties and uncles." her cheerful face brighten the once herione's face. But she couldn't help but think of her husband, who fell ill. "Go wait in the car, I'll get your daddy." she said as she watched her seven years old daughter run to the car and buckled up just waiting for her parents. A presence flew by her, turning around she saw her ill husband, "Honey, are you positive you want to go to this gathering, its okay I can fill in fory-" her voice was stopped, when a kiss was implanted to her soft lips, "I'm fine babe, we've fault all kinds of threats before, and illness isn't going to get the best of me." he smiled, trying to lighen the mood.

She made herself accept his words, knowing full well he wasn't in good shape. But not a single spell could help him, that she knew of. Her title as Mistress of Magic was all that could simply her, in terms of her strength and experience in magic. Sometimes some things were meant to be uncure, some were meant to happen, it was fate. Something she fought against her whole life, but this was something she couldn't win. Erasing all the negative thoughts from her mind, she hooked her arms around her husband and went walking towards the car, that soon drove them to meet their trusted and best friends.

Soon they arrive at the gathering that was held once every two month. She saw her old fellow friends, she basically grew up with them. All were in the same crime fighting group, and seems she never saw them so 'alive'. Much has change since they were kids, now all with their own families and life situations. The world finally reached perfect order. "BLAIR!" she shouted, "Omg! Long time no see bestie." she spoke as she ran to hug her best friend, "Love your new haircut." Blair commented. The spunky girl who once went by Cell Phone Gril now known as Siren. From the distance she saw all her other friends. "Yuki!" everyone spoke, happy to see her. There she saw little Teressa, daughter of Charles and Laura. At the distance she Hotaru, in which the two exchanged waves and went up to greet one another.

Soon Blair's daughter Lily insisted all the former Vine Titan's kids to go and play in the nearby play ground, leaving their parents to talk and catch up on things. Soon the once life committed super heroes began reminiscing on the past adventures they all had. She missed it, all the laughters and voices, Blair now being on multiple tours barely had time to spend with her, while Charles and Laura relocated in Europe, and so on. "Hey Yuki remember this? 'I'm mighty I'm strong, I'm the essence of magic! ARGHHH'" she mimicked regarding the past when Yuki herself was possess by Hymesi, had it not been for Charmix, who sacrifice her life to end it's terror, Yuki would of met her end. All voices laugh at the memory of such, but they grew silent as a hiss from Yuki came under her breathe.

Rubbing her forehead she felt something wasn't right. "What is it?" Charles asked, "Somethings not right..." she said, just then her husband collapsed on the floor, "Ohh MY GOD!" she screamed as she saw a dagger carved into his back, crying as she cuddle his head in her arm, his last words to her was, "Rise.". "Get the kids Hotaru!" Blair shouted as the skies now grey dark. The world was getting plummest into natural disasters, "Yuki do something, magic this sh!t up!" Blair shouted whist creating a barrier around them all. As she gestured her hands to try and calm the earth, it failed, "I can't! I can't control it" she stuttered, her spell turned the situation more haywired and dangerous. Now the second to go was Laura, "LAURAAAAA!" Charles cried out as her body vanish into dust. Unexplained attacks were happening, beams from the skys, earthquakes and sharp icicles fell like rain.

It wasn't before long that the other Titans were killed, then their kids vanish as well. "My dear sweet Yuki. I've found you at last." a voice spoke, confused by the voice and what was happening around. "TELL ME THIS ISN'T HAPPENING! MY BABY!" she screamed in agony as she cried her eyes out. The last standing person, were Charles, Blair, and herself. Soon unidentified creatures appeared, much to the revolt of the trio, Charles took the hit that spared Yuki from getting peirced in the head. "MOTHER F!#@#$!" Blair screamed as she shot a massive light beam at them. Still more and more appeared. Using her telekinesis, Yuki manage to toss some around and backwards. "Yuki, I don't think I can make it anymore.... no more songs from me." she said as she shed out a tear, falling to the floor.

Rushing to her best friends side, Yuki tried to comfort her, "I'll be seeing our friends and families soon." Blair said in a crackled voice, "Don't say that, your going to live, were going to live." Yuki bashfully replied, while crying on her friends head, "Shhh, every bird meets their end of the flight, I think I've met mines. I love you bestfrie..." her voice caught off as soon as she passed away. "Nooo!" Yuki cried, "Dreams live, dreams fly, we'll all be together, even when we die." Yuki spoke, too shock to pay attention to what's going on around her. An axe swung in the axe and landed on her back, coughing out blood, she repeated the ryhmes. At last she cease to fight back, looking down at her best friend once last time, as she finally closed her eyes and the world turned white.

Present

A body forcefully dragged out of her coffin, she lively levitated as the entity looked and view her, "Embrace change." the entity spoke, and bonded with the decease Yuki. Her body and flesh now once again possessed, but something seem missing for her: memories. Her vessel's tranquil memory of the past that she clings onto sent the entity to a bemuse state. To make whole, it was something that was held rested in Vine Titan's Tower. Confused and puzzled, Hymesi now makes way to the place where she can finally make herself whole again, Titan's Tower, while her uncontrolled magic leaves a trail of unnatural mystical flux. Something she no longer held controlled of.

Temple Prime: Sarajevo, some time ago: In the heart of Sarajevo, the capital apparent of the shadowy Cult of the Black Hand Empire, in this citadel of black and red, from which they ruled much of the world in secret; an dark plan was being hatched. One cultist, his face hiddened by a grotesque masquerade mask, brought himself forth to the hidden lord of the Black Hand. Kneeling before his messiah, the cultist then spoke.

"Vrakmul, oh blessed one...the walls of reality are breaking down...what will you have us do?" Asked the cultist, his eyes never looking up from the floor. ",,,Tear them down of course..." Said an voice as old as the stars themselves, a voice from a long dead throat. The voice of a lich, or some would say; THE Lich. The voice...of Vrakmul. The Dark Messiah of the Black hand, the secret puppet master of millions.

"Was this not foretold in the holy scripture? Lo the witch shall rend asunder time, and thus bring the first step of the silence." Vrakmul asked rhetorically, the ancient lich tilting his skull, baleful pinpricks of red light shining in otherwise pitch black and empty eye sockets. "But of course lord...I shall tell the other temples to get into motion...Let silence fall!" The Cultist said as he stood up and pumped his fist into the air at a forty five degree angle. The dark messiah gleefully returned the salute and returned the mantra of "Let silence fall!"

The word soon went out for the Cult of the Black Hand to get to work, to cause what they did best, destruction and chaos. At first it seemed to be a series of random terrorist attacks, car bombs detonating in crowded streets, berserker gas being leaked out into offices full of people; turning them into bloodthirsty maniacs who attacked any living thing in sight, unable to tell friend from foe; gunmen breaking into schools and firing at will, men and women being assassinated with gleeful abandon.

But there was a method to the madness, the Black Hand was steadily weakening the fabric of time by targeting areas where temporally displaced beings were located; to rub salt in the wounds of reality and help bring about the mysterious silence. But what their ultimate goal was something only Vrakmul and the inner circle knew. Vrakmul winced as a flux in magic caused some fluctuation in his undead being...but he shrugged it off and soon put in an encrypted call to an agent in the field.

"Are you ready?" His rasping voice hissed over the call. "Yes, my lord and savior! Give me the command to do what I was born to!" The fanatical cultist responded gleefully, looking at Vine city hall, having gotten past it's defenses. "Destroy it." The archlich responded before ending the call. It was at this point that the man made the final sprint. His eyes were livid with the clarity of true fanatacism, a devotion to a dark cult so strong that he would gleefully lay his life down for it.

As he charged at the city hall, he pushed past the crowd of people and started infusing himself with combat drugs to make himself immune to pain and give himself the speed boost he needed before rushing at the base of the building and shouting "LET SILENCE FALL!" With a voice that reeked of madness before he detonated an tremendous amount of deadly explosives made with chemicals unknown to modern science.

Normal TNT would have only superficially damaged the building and killed some people. Instead, the chemical he used detonated with an ominous but relatively small green mushroom cloud that smashed into the structure. Proud stone was torn apart, people were incinerated, and a cacaphonic boom sounded throughout the city while the city hall collapsed upon itself, robbed of most of it's structural integrity by the works of madmen.

As if on cue, similar suicide bombing attacks occured at major power plants, fire and police departments, private investigation firms; virtually anything to paralyze the city entirely. This allowed for sabatoers to sneak into buildings where they had even the flimsiest reason to believe some temporally displaced entity was located, and soon they set up more explosives, creating more roaring explosions that brought down yet more of the city.

From within his fortress in the temple prime, Vrakmul looked at a chess board and brought forth a pawn to take one from the opposing side. "Now...we have made our opening move...it is time for them to make theirs..." The archlich muttered as he formed a finger pyramid devoid of any flesh. The tapping of ossified bones sounded throughout the room as he waited for more news from the front. Now began the Black Hand's true rise to glory, and the start of the silence.

The blizzard conditions from outside rattled his bedroom windows while the wood creaked from the howling winds. Michael was lost in concentration page after page he searched for a spell to help him find Charmix he doubted it would ever work but it was at least worth a try. Suddenly Michael felt dizzy again and the floor beneath his feet faded into the air. Taken back by the sudden disappearance of his room he didn’t have time to fly into the air and Michael fell through the now dense and thick forest that covered the , mere moments ago a sheet of ice and snow blanketed out the city. He’d never felt so much turmoil in the natural balance of the world, Landing with a bang he could feel the blades of grass sway under his fingertips in the gentle wind, there was no smell of the normal city life it was all so strange to him.

Snapping back this sense’s he looked around for his spellbook he’d dropped it in the fall, a few minutes later he noticed it just under a large team covered in a few leaves, dusting them off Michael cracked open his book, before finding the correct page something has hit him with enough force to knock him back into one of the nearby trees. An ear splitting roar echoed through the forest, getting to his feet as fast as he possibly could a Tyrannosaurus towered over him and charged. In the blink of an eye a thunderbolt fell from the sky hitting the dinosaur at its side, while it was trying to eat him he still didn’t have the heart to kill the beast, it was only doing what nature intended it to do, its instinct.

Sweeping a glance over the surrounding area Michael sat down again beside the now singed grass Michael concentrated on what he wanted the book had informed him that this spell was complicated he should have plasticised it but time was one thing not on his side and even though far new too magic he had to try, picturing Charmix in his mind he uttered the spell “Expiscor mihi Charmix”

Feeling the same surge of power as before Michael was astounded by the spell’s affect. He’d always been connected with nature due to his weather manipulating abilities but this was different his reach was extended farther than ever before, the spell tried to guide him towards Charmix but something odd happened Michael felt his body twist and turn and he could no longer hear the sounds of the jungle or feel the grass beneath his feet. Appearing in an instant miles above the ground he felt his body plummet through the air, he was a natural at flying but concentration was the key and his mind sense’s were being overloaded spinning through the clouds his vision was disorientated and the wind whistled in his ears. Without warning Michael collided with something solid but strangely they weren’t falling like himself, they were soaring through the sky like the mighty eagle. Regaining his vision back Michael looked down himself and his savour were descending towards the ground below. He felt weird someone saving him for a change not freaked out weird but nice weird if you can get nice weird.

As they landed Michael looked up at his saviour, he was much taller than Michael and that was saying something cause for a teenager he was pretty damn tall. The man removed his helmet and spoke to him “Hey, I’m Alceus. So how did this end with you two falling from the sky?” *two?* he thought to himself and sure enough upon looking over there she was just as he’d remembered her, his spell had worked.

He was about to speak but Alceus interrupted his train of thought "I sense some magic in the two of you. This might be stretching it but I was told that something is happening to the world, and it has to do with magic. Magic users like my sister are getting weaker because of it. Is it possible that you two might know something about this? And if so, would you be willing to help me stop all of this?"

As Alceus extended his hand Michael shook his hand and introduced himself “Im Umbra but you can call me Michael and yeah I’ve been feeling sorta the same as you’re sister, something is screwing with nature and magic as well that’s why I came looking for her” pointing over to Charmix he turned his attention towards her “Look you probably aren’t excited about seeing me again I know we didn’t leave the best of friends the last time but you’re the only person I could think of. I’m sure you felt it too right? I have no Idea what’s going. Charmix what the hell is happening?”

Standing in the grassy field miles away from Champion Island with one complete stranger and a girl that kicked his ass the last time they meet he could have felt more out of place if he'd tried but he knew she'd have to know something about this she was the mistress of magic after all and something that caused this much Chaos in the magical world would never slip her notice.

Awoken from her unstable sleep, she grab her silk robe and walked out into the balcony. Seeing the sun in all it's glory gave her warmth as the lights touched her tender flawless skin. As she closed her eyes and reopen them, the skies grew dark. Amidst it all, the surrounding warped into a flowerly field in her sight. A beautiful sceneary but with a gesture from her hand, flame gloss from the tips of her fingers and shot down, only to bend and fly into another direction. Confused and suprise at the result, she then saw the magic field that encompass around all life. The distorted and bent energy flied rapidly more than ever. Then an electric pain sharpened into her mind. Holding her head from the pounding effect she sensed along with other magical users the unstable magicks. Her own magic began to grow immense then fade, shifting on it's own making her spells and it's result tricky. The raven haired sorceress then prepared for the day as she cleanse her body and soul, after which she would find out the cause of this magical terror.

Later on throughout the day, she visited her library, collections of amulets, charms, and books, regarding many informational facts on mythrial sources. As she reached for her grimoire, the dark leather book, which was filled up with spells from personal creation and pass on, she felt the magical energies around her, and fighting her. Her body sunk to her knees, the weight of which caused her to fall on them. Facing the ground in all efforts to try and contain the very force she utilizes, tapping into the wild magic, she managed to calm it down, for a limited time only, though now she was focused enough to flip through her spell book. She couldn't even concentrate correctly to find her spell, fustration build up inside her until finally she shut the book close and went to the dinning area to eat and relax her mind. Trying to access the dark force, she herself was cut off. She felt the force fighting back and going "insane", the unstable magic terriozing the many realms and turning against their campanion.

While contemplating on an idea, an unknown visitor shot from her roof and landed on her dinning table. Like a pig on it's belly, kicking him to land on his back “Destroying my home and disturbing my meal, you will be punished for such an outrage,” she lifted her hand soon a dark energy closed around his body, surprisingly the dark force energy she wield was in her control, but she could feel it slipping. “If you destroy me now Selena, then how will you repay Charmix for disrupting your powers?” an angry and confused face showed, “What did you say?!” she replied in a harsh tone, "Of course that disgusting rat is the cause of this." she said in her mind, just imagining to rip her to shreds and feed her heart to the lower demons. She allowed him to stand on his feet to explain more on this cause of magic erradication, “I’m sure a powerful sorceress like yourself can tell that something is causing your spells and hexes to become stronger or weaker than they should be. And I’m sure you can taste Cecilia’s magic all over.” she could feel his inner urges, "Her essense is linked to this but it's not." she said puzzling. “If you went to deal with her, she might use this spell she’s weaving to amplify her own powers and weaken you enough to take your powers for her own. If you spare my meaningless life, oh Mighty Queen,” he said as he bowed down on his knee to give her the respect she always had, “Then I can ensure you can exact vengeance upon that wretched witch.”.

"Get up on your feet, we leave now. But there's two person in mind." soon the two vanish from her home and appeared somewhere new. The two appeared inside Tenebrasque In location, there she find her newest addition, Clara Mass. "Long time no see." she said as her and X-Factor emerge out of the shadows. "Are you sure, queen? My scans tell me she's a high threat.", "I can feel it, she's confused, I'll work with what I can." she whispered back. "YOU! Your the cause of this!" a telepathic bolt transceded into Selena's mind, her shields lowered due to the power influx. "Ahhhh, GET OUT YOU FILTHY PEASANT!" Selene, shouted back, as she forcefully ejected Clara out. "I'm not the one your after." she said as she walked closer to Clara, grabbing both of her arms, the two interlocked, "See can you feel that? My own magic, life essence it's different from the one your finding, but together we can find her. I need you to track her, search the reality tears, find her. But first we have one more to find" Selene said in her dark seductive voice.

The trio's next destination was unknown, only known to Selena. They disturbed the voice of one who laid in front of a chess board. "Now...we have made our opening move...it is time for them to make theirs...". "Why isn't the master of the Black Hand." Selene said intruding. Suddenly by his command, an army formed and ventured towards the three. "I guess he's not open to reason." Clara said, "Let's make hi-" she cut off, her mind flared up in pain, "The Many-Angled Ones, there finally here." her eyes glowed pure black as she looked up into the ceiling to see past it. Many dieties from all around gather to face the incoming threat. "The war of Gods have finally begun." she said in her cryptic voice. Before any fighting began, "Your choice to join us to stop that horrible witch is now, or else all life ceases to exist. Of all the goods in the world, evil will die along with it!" within that moment, Selene teleported her group away.

But the magic backfired and the three landed in an area not by her choice. There lies the the Great One's children, all wanting to feast on all living beings. "I can't jump us again, my magic is unstable." a blast of red crimson flame shot from her right fist as she held it in front of her, scorching the demonic beings. While the other two prepared to fight.

"Tick, tock, goes the clock. Until thou shalt marry me. Tick, tock, goes the clock, until we must surely die. Tick, tock, goes the clock. On, and on, and on. Tick, tock, goes the clock. Until the end of time." The Lich sang to itself as it looked over the chess board, the lord of the Black Hand, herald of the dreaded Icon, smirked as he saw the intruder briefly teleport into his domain. His smirk turned into a wide grin before he put his right index finger to his mouth, the skin of his lips torn away and flapping in the wind.

With an intense, soulless stare Vrakmul finally said "Shhhh." In a voice that sounded as if emanated from something even more horrible than the Dreadful Lich that for a brief moment, used it as a mouth piece to speak. This was of course, the dread Icon, some who knew of the Universe that hungered called it a great old one, some said it was something else entirely. But as far as Vrakmul was concerned, it was key to his ultimate goal.

The goal of omnicide. To wipe out not just this universe, but all others. To destroy every dimension, every parallel, every single corner of creation. And with the end of all things, would finally come his own end. Perhaps it was out of exhaustion of an eternity of serving the Icon, perhaps it was simple madness, perhaps it was some subconscious death wish coupled with an ego so vast that it felt the need to drag down all other life with it, or perhaps it was something far worse.

Looking to his chess board, Vrakmul brought forth another pawn before issuing another command, he brought forth a communicator and spoke to a Black Hand cell in Champion City. "Is City Hall in session?" The lich asked over his communicator. "Yes, Lord Vrakmul." Reported the shadowy voice of an incorporeal undead wraith at the other end. "Very good...use the rage generator, turn this temple to freedom into a church of madness." Vrakmul responded with a chillingly quiet voice.

At Champion city, a group of black hand cultists driving a semi-truck parked their vehicle in front of a warehouse, disguising themselves as a toy shipment. But when they brought out the device, a menacing black cyllinder, they quickly turned to the security present and presented laser pistols. "Let silence fall!" The lead cultist shouted before he fired off a crimson lance of energy through the head of the first security guard, causing the water in his blood to instantly vaporize and expand so violently that his head exploded like an overripe watermelon.

When one guard tried to call for assistance, the Wraith emerged from the floor; it's black cloak and cowl covered incorporeal form reaching out a shadowy hand before two piercing red dots started to glow from within the hood. "You are mine!" The Wraith snarled before it's ghostly hand reached into his heart and sapped the very vitality from the guard, causing him to drop dead to the ground, his soul being torn from his body and forming a new wraith that would forever be the slave of the original.

"Activate the Rage generator..." The wraith hissed. At this point, the cultists put on their grotesque masquerade masks that would protect them from the berserker bloodlust inducing effects of the generator as it unleashed a potent combination of pheromone altering technology and emotion affecting magic to create murderous rage in the afflicted. They pushed a series of buttons, causing the device to hum and crackle to life before an emitter emerged.

From this emitter a red wave of pure rage spread out for two miles in all direction, afflicting countless in the downtown area and inciting within them; absolute murderous rage. Within moments the civilians began to kill one another, lost in an uncontrollable urge to slaughter all they could see. Even animals were afflicted, with once loyal pets ripping into their crazed former masters while the streets quickly began to run red with blood and burn as blazes broke out through the downtown area.

"Phase two complete...begin phase three..." Vrakmul ordered over the commlinks to various Black Hand cells across the United States. This orgy of violence was needed for the summoning to occur, for magic of this level, sacrifices were required, lots of them. For to breach the walls of the universe in such a manner as to allow the Great Old ones and potentially the Icon itself to come through took an enormous amount of power.

He grinned on the inside as mad magician ordered him to his feet and began teleporting him to more allies. “Just bow and grovel and the ‘royalty’ will bend to you,” he thought as he saw Clara Mass and Selena battle telepathically for dominance. They were then teleported into a place where you could taste the decay of corpses. She spoke to the lich for a moment before teleporting the group away from the attacking followers. Of course, where they ended up wasn’t much better. They were in the middle of a group of beasts that were related to the Great Old Ones, and they were in a frenzy. X whipped out two hand guns and began shooting at the demons, each bullet dropping a demon and allowing two more to take its place. “I can't jump us again, my magic is unstable,” shouted Gloomix as she began incinerating a few more demons with her magic. “I can get us out of here, but we need to keep them off of us for a little bit,” he said as he ejected the empty clips and tossed his guns into the air. In the moments they began to fall, the mysterious machine pulled out a small, futuristic remote with no buttons and threw it behind them. The device hovered in the air a few feet away from the group and attempted to create a link to the destination. While it did that, he pulled out two new clips from his belt and held them upright in the palms of his hands. The guns landed on them and the cartridges gracefully slid inside. He then grabbed them and began to shoot at the demons again.

In a matter of seconds, the device was engulfed in a blinding white light as it sent energy towards the ground. The creatures drew back for a moment out of fear, but then continued to charge at the three. “Go through the boom tube, it will take you to my secret base in the Marianas Trench. I’ll keep them busy till you get through. Go, before the battery dies and we’re all trapped here.” He continued to fire into them until he ran out of ammunition again, but he holstered his guns again instead of reloading them. When he extended his arms again, two swords shot out from his wrists, which he caught by their hilts. X began cutting any demon that tried to get through the boom tube with expert precision, no move was wasted. The bodies continued to pile up as he slowly backed up through the portal. The other two had already gone inside and was attempting to keep them off him long enough so they couldn’t follow him. He was halfway towards the portal when he withdrew his blades and made a run for the boom tube. The hideous creatures were on close behind, his cloak just barely out of their reach. He barely made it through the portal before it blinked out of existence and the device fell to the ground, breaking as it hit the rocky surface.

X-Factor flew from the boom tube just as it was closing, rolling on the ground before landing on his feet. He stood up and gestured to his base. “Welcome to my humble abode. The magical fluxuations are weaker and less frequent here since we are where there is very little life.” He then continued and gestured to the large metallic cube in the center of the room. It had numerous ancient and magical ritual symbols and runes as well as a futuristic glass orb at the top. “I would avoid touching that if I were you, my queen, or it will capture you and drain you dry of all your magic.” The robot continued past them and walked over to a tool bench. He opened a drawer and pulled out a metal head band with a little red light where the forehead was. X turned his attention back to the women. “As I told you before, my mistress, Charmix is responsible for the problems you both are having with your telepathy and your hexes.” He pressed a button and an image appeared on the monitor behind him. “She has been steadily ripping apart the very fabric of existence, either consciously or unconsciously,” he said as numerous Earths began appearing on the screen. Then, one by one, the Earths began to disappear until only one was left “We are only seeing this now because it has been destroying every other dimension before returning to destroy the one dimension that created it.” The image changed to a crude model of the device behind them and two stick figures, one labeled Charmix, the other Selena. “With that device, I can transfer Charmix’s powers to anyone wearing this headband at the moment of the transfer. Using the god-like power she possesses, not only could that person repair the damage she has done, but they can also rewrite reality to be whatever they desire,” he said as the little image demonstrated what he was saying. “You could erase her from existence, set yourself as the source of all magic, anything.” He was lying about the headband though, but they wouldn’t know. They couldn’t read the mind that ran his mechanical body.

But there are a few problems that have come to my attention,” he said as he set the headband on the desk. These runes won’t be able to hold her long enough to ensure the transfer is complete, especially with the magical interference. Physical restraints won’t do a thing against her powers and she is able to use her psychic abilities while performing spells. Then there’s these guys,” he said as he opened began typing into the keyboard. The image flickered for a moment before revealing a highly vivid satellite image of Charmix, Umbra, and the Champion talking to each other across the globe. “There will be others who will also protect her besides these two, and having to deal with a god with his powers in tact will be difficult enough. So now I must ask the both of you,” he said as he turned back to face them, his hands coming together in front of his face, “how do we capture and hold her?

Her heart began racing, the near death experience made her catch a few deep breathe. "Hey, I'm Alceus" a voice said, "So how did this end with you two falling from the sky?" he added, "God, do you always smell like that? I mean 'god' isn't the correct literally term." Cecilia replied as she massage her head. "I sense some magic in the two of you. This might be stretching it but I was told that something is happening to the world, and it has to do with magic. Magic users like my sister are getting weaker because of it. Is it possible that you two might know something about this? And if so, would you be willing to help me stop all of this?", he extended his hand to shake, she risk touching him, but Umbra did. “Im Umbra but you can call me Michael and yeah I’ve been feeling sorta the same as you’re sister, something is screwing with nature and magic as well that’s why I came looking for her” Umbra has said as he pointed towards the Enchantress.

“Look you probably aren’t excited about seeing me again I know we didn’t leave the best of friends the last time but you’re the only person I could think of. I’m sure you felt it too right? I have no Idea what’s going. Charmix what the hell is happening?” Umbra finished. With no idea herself, she decided she needed the two's help, "I'm Charmix." she said boldly. Finally reaching her hand out she touched the sky champion that saved her. As the two made contact, her eyes glowed black, and she stared into the sky. "There here, they've finally made it, The Great Old Ones." she saw the many pantheons of earth from different religions and cultures. She then grab the two men's arm, and they saw what she was witnessing. Gods in battle, against the cinthonic dieties. Then her sight returned to normal, she losen her connection to the two. Catching deep breathes she calmed herself down. A suddenly a quake happen across dimensions, the rift widen the connection pools to different worlds. "Did you guys feel that?" she said while clutching her head, "Seals, many of them, are broken.".

Before she could answer Umbra's question demonic beings enter into the fray along with the 'children' of the Many Angled Ones. "It's happening everywhere..." she said worringly. Her magic itself was unstable not wanting to risk injuring her new friends and herself, she resulted to using her telepathic gifts. Though surely demonic creatures and the children of the cinthonic beasts were resistant to telepathic intrusions but attacks were differen't, it didn't hurt to try even if it stunned their 'minds'. The three engaged in battle, the field around them warped and brought them to a city, City of Sins: Las Vegas. "What the.." she heard the Olympian Champion spoke, "Questions later, time to save some innocents!" directing her telepathic force blast towards a demon near a girl. "Run!" Cecilia said, as she ran and tackle the creature to the floor. Grabbing a sharp stone, she plunged into the beast's head. Repeatily stabbing it like an animal, "No more!" she said, as she layed on top of him, she stared at her bloody hands, what was she becoming, thinking to herself as she stared back at the demon.

She could feel the thought of another behind her, before she could lay assault the demon smacked her across the face, tumbling her body on the floor. The skies rumbled as the elements were enrage, surely the work of Umbra, as she looked at the demon again who tried to repeat his assault, Umbra send down a bolt from mother nature and fried the creature, while he then returned to slaying more. Bright bolts of energy shot from the Champion as he continued blasting these creatures and saving the lives of many, but the three were clearly out numbered. Of course that didn't stop them from fighting. Leaping and flipping around the field of battle, she dodges many attack sent by the enemies, using her ability to strike nerves, she attempt to paralyze a demonic arm, but it failed, "No bodily respone." she thought as she sent forth a telepathic scream within it's mind.

Gesturing her right hand in front of her she attempt to use magic on the lowest scale as possible. Summoning many cherry blossoms and sent the swirls of beautiful pedals towards five demons, unlike what other's thought to be harmless, in truth the petals were sharp as any blade and cutted through the exterior of her foes, flying them back in the process. Even a small use of magic, the Mistress of Magic collasped to the floor, draining her. "Any plan guys?" she hollared out while getting on her feet.

Some slight relief overcame a silent Alceus as the two strangers spoke to him, he would need all the help he can get. The male teenager spoke first, first introducing himself as Umbra, then revealing his real name to be Michael. "I'm Umbra but you can call me Michael and yeah I've been feeling sorta the same as your sister, something is screwing with nature and magic as well that's why I came looking for her", the young magic-wielder said, pointing at the teenage girl who still hadn't uttered a single word to Alceus. Perhaps she was still shocked by her near-death experience, it was only natural really. "Look you probably aren't excited about seeing me again I know we didn't leave the best of friends the last time but you're the only person I could think of. I'm sure you felt it too right? I have no idea what's going on. Charmix what the hell is happening?", Umbra asked, apparently he too was unaware of the current situation in the physical universe. But most importantly, he called the teenage girl by the name "Charmix". Was this the Charmix that Alceus was told to seek by a collection of the world's pantheons? Of the two teenagers, Charmix seemed to be the most cautious one. Umbra had no problem shaking Alceus' hand but Charmix was more cautious in her approach. Apparently, with no answer to Umbra's question, Charmix simply introduced herself. The manner in which she introduced herself, it showcased her bravado. So apparently, she was the one he was searching for. Finally shaking hands with the Son of Olympus, Charmix also took Umbra's hand. Before witnessing with his own eyes an epic battle unfolding, Alceus spoke to Charmix, though it was brief, "So you're Charmix, I was told to find you by my father Zeus and some other pantheon leaders. I-", The Champion's sentence was cut short as he bared witness to a colossal battle of epic proportions, a battle between Chthonic deities and countless gods.

Then, as instantly as it the mysterious vision came, it vanished. Charmix's eyesight reverted to it's normal state, breaking the mystical link to both Alceus and Umbra. "Good luck father", Alceus murmured, after witnessing his father alongside Odin, Vishnu, Izanagi and many other gods doing battle with the Chthonic deities. It would surely be a battle that would shake the very heavens in its wake. As she caught her breath in order to calm herself down, Charmix's attempts were interrupted by sudden dimensional quakes that even Alceus felt. "The hell?", Alceus was surprised as Charmix clutched her head, perhaps in pain as she is, after all, the centerpiece of this grand event. Still Umbra was left without answers from Charmix. "Huh?", mighty Alceus' attention suddenly strayed from the two sorcerers to appearing demonic beings and mysterious beings. "Who are they?", The Champion wondered, clueless in his thoughts. "It's happening everywhere...", Charmix murmured worryingly. "Charmix is there something you know about this?", Alceus asked, left with no other alternative but to ask questions. The demonic beings and the mysterious somehow divine beings began to close surround the trio, making their intentions of battle more than clear. Balling up his hand into a tight fist, a determined Alceus was ready to do battle with these new-found enemies. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, the entire environment around the trio took a drastic alteration. Whether or not he was teleported or the environment simply changed due to mystical circumstances was unimportant, but the Olympian Champion found himself in the city of Las Vegas. Surprised, Alceus could only utter useless words, "What the..", however, his questions would not be answered as a battle-ready Charmix reminded Alceus that there were innocent people around them that were easy targets for the demons and other enemies present. "Way to appeal to the hero in me", he chuckled as his body instantaneously began to radiate a golden flame-like aura of energy. Charmix was quick to begin her deadly assault, blasting an intense wave of telepathic force at a demon that targeted a girl. Engaging the demon, Charmix urged the innocent girl to flee for her life before the demon could get the better of her. And in a display of resourcefulness, Charmix reached for a nearby sharp stone and repeatedly stabbed the grotesque creature on the head without mercy.

She was ruthless in her assault, she almost reminded Alceus of Ares. "No more!", Charmix shouted, laying on top of the creature, her hands bloodied as she silently stared at the demon. While there was no way for Alceus to know what was going through her mind, it was implied by her reaction to killing the demon that she was not usually this ruthless in her approach. Soon enough, Charmix was struck across the face by an attacking demon, knocking her onto the ground. She was perhaps too distracted by recently and brutally murdering another living creature. Though it was a demon, it was a living creature nonetheless. "Charmix!", Alceus worried, only to hear loud rumbling in the skies. It was not his thunder and lightning at work, it must no doubt be the work of his recent acquaintance, Umbra. Charmix's attacker ignored the roars of the elements and attempted to pounce on Charmix only to be mercilessly incinerated by Umbra who continued fighting off the other demons. "Even though their power is depleting, what they're doing is pretty impressive", an observant Alceus thought, specifically praising Umbra's performance in the battle. Being no slouch himself, The Champion aimed his palms at the demons and creatures and instantly projected an overwhelming barrage of star-like energy bolts, killing many of his enemies and saving lives in the process. But even in this method was not enough, as the trio were at a disadvantage. The number's game was clearly against them but this did not even come close to causing Alceus' determination to waver, in fact, his will to fight only grew stronger. Charmix suddenly switched to the defensive as she began dodging and evading her enemies' attacks. In no more than a second, she returned to the offensive, utilizing her martial arts skills in an attempt to paralyze a demon's arm with precise nerve strikes. But sadly, it was a fruitless attempt, demonic anatomy is simply too different and too warped to react to nerve strikes designed specifically for affecting humans.

Alceus' onslaught however, did not stop, his barrage of energy blasts raged on as Charmix defeated a demon with a powerful telepathic scream, tearing at the creature's mind. "They just keep on coming", the Son of Olympus murmured as a drop of sweat ran down the left side of his forehead. Tapping into whatever magic she could, Charmix proceeded to summon a field of cherry blossoms and sent swirls of petals at five demons. Surprisingly, the petals were ridiculously sharp and dealt heavy cuts to the demons, knocking them back. With her increasing fatigue, Charmix dropped to the floor. "Any plan guys?", she asked, getting to her feet with what little strength she had left. "Yes", Alceus replied, sounding more serious. His eyes began glowing blue as his flame-like aura shifted to an outward flailing aura of violent energy. The amount of energy he was generating, began to attract the demons and creatures towards him. Raising his arms, thunder roared wildly in the now cloudy skies. Then in a matter of seconds, Alceus called down a humongous golden lightning that crashed down on the demons and beings, vaporizing them all, without harming any innocents. Though there was a large crater left from the impact, all was well. "How about we get to the bottom of this mystical crisis?", Alceus suggested, turning to face the two sorcerers. "We need to get to the main source of this problem. But I'm sure the path is swarmed with threats. Are you guys willing to help me out in this? So we can save the world?", he asked, sincerely hoping for a yes. As powerful as he was, even Alceus cannot do this all on his own.

Tension hung think in the air as the newly introduced allies greeted each other with some suspicion. With conviction in her voice she spoke “Im Charmix” but as she shook hands with their saviour her head shot up straight towards the sky and became pure black "There here, they've finally made it, The Great Old Ones." She spoke gripping his wrist Michael felt his eyes and mind shift as he saw her vision. It truly was a horrifying sight the battle to end all battles literally the gods of the various earth pantheons the Greek, the Norse, the Egyptain’s, the Celtic among other’s all united together fighting off the numerous dark deities from the underworld. As she let go of his arm Michael felt himself back in his own body. She was winded from the vision but another tear in the dimensional rifts made it worse as Charmix clutched her head in pain Michael felt dizzy and faint just as before clearly the tears affected the mystic’s of this world differently. Through her pain she spoke to them but Michael was to dizzy to pay much attention to her it was a struggle to even stand "Did you guys feel that? Seals, many of them, are broken."

Before the trio realised they were surrounded by multiple denizens of hell, ignoring his dizziness Michael uttered his first spell learned “Eradico” this was a grave mistake on his part, not taking into the account how unstable not just his own but all magic was Michael’s spell increased in power it was however more that he could control. While the demonic entities did explode the spell rebounded and Michael himself was shot backwards, moments before he had been in a grassy open field however as he collided with a wall he looked up to see bright dazzling neon lights illuminating the night. * there getting more frequent this is so g……* his train of thought was cut of as Charmix shouted to the two “Questions later, time to save some innocents!".

She was right the demons were scattering across the city spilling the blood of innocents. Charmix sprinted in one direction tackling a demon while the Champion’s body radiated a golden aura. Using his spells would be sheer stupidity they were too unstable to control he wasn’t defenceless though tapping into mutant power’s Michael collected the remaining moisture in the air to summon a thunderstorm, the air above them grew violent and angry, the wind’s swirled and the air grew think with static. Looking across the battlefield he saw Charmix on the ground a demon pounced on her but it was a futile and unsuccessful attempt to take her life with a gesture a lightning blot fell from the vicious element from above the beast was incinerated in the blink of an eye, it didn’t even stand a chance.

Turning back to his own battle the dust and the wind rose up and sweep the street clean of the scum that littered the underworld, they to were no match for the elements but even his power’s were unable to hold them off forever there were far to many for himself, Charmix and the Champion to handle. The demonic beings pushed forwards causing Michael to retread back to the other’s, a swarm of cherry blossoms sliced through the air missing him by inches, like razor blades they cut down a few of the demons. Even with their combined attacks they were outnumbered beyond comprehension he was doing his best to hold them back with wind barriers these however weren’t strong enough, each layer was broken through bit by bit until on of his barrier’s remained.

Charmix spoke from behind him and the Champion "Any plan guys?" Michael was at a lose at what could be done, his new acquaintance on the other hand jumped into action his aura changed Michael’s mutant power’s allowed him to manipulate energy he could feel power build and surge through the Champions body, above them the already violent storm changed but not by Michael’s will it was the Champion he controlled Michael’s storm clearly he was much more powerful. In a mere moment a bolt of lightning more severe and powerful than Michael could hope to create spilt open the sky, the ground gave way to the force of the blast, as the lightning dissipated a crater had been formed, cracked concrete and debris surrounded the trio but the attack had worked the denizens of hell were gone for the moment anyway.

The Campion spoke "How about we get to the bottom of this mystical crisis?, We need to get to the main source of this problem. But I'm sure the path is swarmed with threats. Are you guys willing to help me out in this? So we can save the world?"

Getting up off his knees Michael was the first to answer “Well I’ve defiantly got you’re back on this I’ll help anyway I can you’ve got my full Mutant and Magical power’s at you’re disposal. But finding the source of the problem is gonna be hard and with our magic so unstable It’s going to be even tougher.” Turning towards Charmix Michael hoped she’d have the answer “Charmix I’ll help anyway I can but I don’t know enough about magic that’s why I came to you. Do you have any Idea, any spell that could help lead us to the source of the problem?

The Order of the Talon was nervous to say the least. The Cult of the Black hand was moving quite openly, using the chaos of the disruption of magic to their advantage. Though those ignorant of the true nature of the Cult would assume that they served the Great Old Ones directly, the Order knew the truth. They served the Icon and nothing else. Though to many, the living universe that hungers could be called a great old one. It is a vast, eldritch, and incomprehensible entity that mere men cannot truly comprehend the full nature of.

Lord Varitan, first saint of the Order, stood on a pedastel; clad in his magnificent clockwork armor. Johnathan sat on one of the pews with other members of his Crusader Cell. "Brothers...We stand on a dangerous precipice...the Cult of the Black Hand is running rampant through the world. It is using the influx of entities from the Far Realm to ensure that heroes will not be able to stop it's plans in time...We know that the Cult will not stop with summoning the Great Old Ones, no; they will use that as a test, and we all know what they truly intend to summon once the Great Old Ones have served their purpose..." Varitan said, his classical Roman accent sounding peculiar to more modern ears.

"The Icon." Everyone in the cell said at once, causing Varitan to nod. "If the Icon is summoned, that means the end of all things in this universe. For it will devour the thoughts of every living thing. Innocent, guilty, strong and weak, honest and deceitful; all of them. We must ensure that God's plan is not disrupted by the machinations of the Universe that hungers. Now more than ever, we must fight the Cult with all our heart and soul. Though we are outnumbered, we have triumphed against such odds before. Remember the siege of hawk's perch. Remember how we held true to our faith, and in the end we shattered the largest host the Black Hand has yet summoned. Remember our war against Kaiser Wilhelm's fel imperium, remember our victory!" Varitan went on, causing a chorus of affirmative responses.

The Order of the Talon soon began to mobilize, crusader cells across the world were springing into action, not only dealing with what Far Realm incursions they found, but hunting for any signs of the Black Hand. But before Johnathan could set out, Varitan put a hand on the Boy's shoulder. "Johnathan...I have a task for you...our sources say that a woman named Charmix is the source of the disruption, as there is a paradoxical double of her in this reality...You must find her, and offer your aid to find a solution...any solution..." Varitan said, looking away briefly.

Johnathan's blue eyes looked through his square glasses and the visor of his helmet before he shook his head. "It won't come to that Varitan. I promise you! I'll find a way, and we're going to stop the black hand once again!" Johnathan responded with a smile on his face, his noticeably buck teeth showing as he parted his lips, though his helmet disguised this.

With a few flap of his wings, the boy was off into the air once he left the Crusader Crawler; a vast mobile castle/cathedral that ran on gigantic tracks. He headed for America, and soon soared over the Atlantic ocean towards it's east coast.

What the boy didn't know was that the Black Hand was about to unleash the third phase of it's dire plan. The triad of the Black Hand stood upon a tower in Chicago, looking down at the city below. The skeletal black full plate clad death knight Kargoth, whose horned helmet and baleful glowing red eye sockets looked with disdain to the scurrying mass of humanity below. The night gaunt cleric Nexatos; armored in a fine suit of chain mail that wrapped his black body, membranous wings fluttering softly, and of course; the Archlich Vrakmul.

Vrakmul looked at Kargoth, turning his head towards the mightiest warrior of the Black Hand and uttered a chilling command. "It is time for the slaves of this universe to realize who their true masters are...Seal off the region." He commanded with a raspy voice, to which Kargoth clenched his fist and gleefully gave the command to the armies of the Black Hand.

In cities across the great lakes regions, explosives detonated throughout buildings, causing civilians across the cities to begin panicking and fleeing. The night sky was then filled with vast Armageddon bombers and carryalls, escorted by Vertigo attack craft and Venom fighters. The Armageddons floated lazily in the air, releasing a vast barrage of missiles that trailed and curved around to smash into buildings, causing a deafening cascade of explosions whose red infernos blossomed into the night sky, pulverizing huge holes into the buildings.

Venom fighters swept around, firing off their rapid fire weaponry into buildings and people alike, tracers filled the air in vast amounts as the massacre went on. In the streets of Chicago, a Vertigo bomber swooped down to drop bombs in a crowded street, reducing dozens of people to ash while an Avatar Warmech stomped through the streets, it's laser cannons ripping through and incinerating more people.

In Toronto, people fleeing from a burning mass of cars and buildings in an crowded intersection never noticed an Enlightened rising from a hidden sleeper cell in the ground. The Black Hand cyborg took aim at one group of fleeing civilians and ripped through them with a rapid series of bursts from it's supercharged particle cannons before taking aim at the second group; firing off a single continuous beam that incinerated another dozen people.

All the while, the Black Hand's inner circle; comprised of mighty undead, began to tear holes in the fabric of reality to summon forth great numbers of Far Realm beasts; Deep Ones, Night Gaunts, Dholes, Ghouls, Star Spawn, Flying Polyps, Mi-go, Byakhee, and more began to pour from their realms of madness into the waking world to spread more terror.

To further demoralize their opponents, the Black Hand made sure that the footage of their attack made it onto live news reports, with flabbergasted news anchors sputtering in disbelief that such an army could materialize out of nowhere and do such horrific harm to the strongest nation in the world and it's close ally Canada. The message was clear, The Black Hand was triumphant.

Boston.

Things were good, hell I could say things were great, I had my rent paid and my debts settled. But then the sh*t storm happened. A catastrophe caused by a bunch of cultist a$$holes that didn't know any better... My name is Ivan Que... And im a bastard magician..

Ivan was both happy and disappointed to see the bottom of the glass, the plus is that more gin was on the way! and the minus being that's another few bucks out of Ivan`s pocket. For a down town bar in Boston it was awfully empty, the silence made him uneasy, like something bad was bound to happen. The barkeep grabbed his glass and filled it up, and so the magician pulled out his pack of Canadian cigarettes and slipped one between his lips. Ivan looked up at the man as he lit his cigarette and after inhaling a good dose of nicotine he grinned, the smoke slowly bellowed out from his nostrils. ``Barkeep, you of all people should know where your flock has ran off to yeah? Feelin' intuitive?" Ivan's snarky tone was so common it was trademark, the barkeep of course was immediately in distaste of Ivan's attitude. Reluctant to tell Ivan anything he briefly explained "Have you not heard about what the hell happened in Chicago? Some sort of massive disaster, people all over the place are heading up north and down south after what the hell happened there!" The barkeep then tossed the front page of the mornings paper on the counter with all of the details. Ivan didn't even give a first glance at it for he rushed his cigarette into it, he chuckled and threw on his trench coat, walking for the doors. Before finally leaving he looked back at the bar tender, "Take my advice bud... Your bar is the last f*cking thing you have to worry 'bout now... Cheers." And with that he slammed the front door.

Walking down the street when the sunset was usually calming for Ivan, but again there was silence, the streets were empty and there wasn't a noise to be heard for a few blocks. No, nuh uh.... This isn't my problem! He thought and continued to make his way down the empty street. "I mean is it really my problem!? Im only overseas for business! One kandarian demon! Just needed to be sent back to hell! Not some super hero gig! Im no spandex jockey!" Ivan tried to convince himself and tried to calm down with a smoke. He pulled out another cigarette and his lighter, but the flint was finished. "Heh! Looks like you need a light!" A disturbingly ghostly voice spoke to Ivan, he turned to where the voice came from and his eyes widened with surprise and horror. A ghost stood only a few inches from his face, he was burning eternally with hellfire and his face was melting from it over and over again. "Christ!" Ivan yelled as he stepped a few feet back. The burning corpse raised his hands in surprise and spoke again, "What!? You dont remember your ol' pal Dennis?! Funny story I was just in Chicago... Where were you Ivan? the world is in peril from what your supposed to protect it from and your in a bar?!" The flames grew with the spirits rage, Ivan was more annoyed than anything else. Keeping a smirk Ivan puffed his smoke, "Denny! Didnt notice you with that burnt a$$ face.. How is life? Oooooh, bad timing? Anyway what do you want from me? you know London are my streets not the states! this isn't my problem! You can take your crisis and f*ck off!..." Ivan gave the spectre the finger and turned in the opposite direction and walked on. But with a sudden gust of wind the burning corpse loomed his head right beside Ivan which made him halt. "You know how this works Que... You swore an oath remember? To save the world from the invisible forces of evil. You remember who is gunna' say hello when you don't keep up your end?" Dennis pointed in front of Ivan with his rotting arm and to the magicians horror was a street full of rotting ghosts, screaming and suffering, he shut his eyes and bit down on his cigarette. Dennis laughed with his broken windpipe and patted Ivan on the shoulder. `Dont let these souls go unavenged Ivan, or they all scream for you... Locate Charmix... She is needed in the redemption and saving of many souls alive and dead... And remember! Those screams Ivan, those screams... ``.

Dennis`s voice faded off and Ivan opened his eyes to see the empty streets again, the magician frowned and took a long drag from his smoke. `...Bollocks..``

Ivan's apartment.

So the message was pretty clear, find this chick that sounds like a cereal brand and give her a hand. Simple right? Wrong! I would have to find her first, which isn't as easy as it looks, magic is't just a two way radio, especially when you profess in symbol and hex magic....

Ivan cleared everything out of his dumpy apartment to make room for the connection circle, he removed his coat, and rolled up his sleeves to show his arcanic circles inked on his arms. You see symbol and hex magic not only need the symbol drawn but needs blood and a vessel, some people use small objects as one but it's sh!t compared to the human body, but Ivan! You yell! You have to give blood to use the symbols! Wrong kids! When you sell your soul to the devil so that you keep your blood but just use it, kinda handy! There is the fact that I couldn't ink all of the hex's and power symbols onto my body of course! The arms and chest and back are the only conductors for this art! Why am I rambling? Ivan snapped out of his inner monologue to to begin, he sat lotus in the centre of the circle and the symbols on his arms that matched the one drawn on the floor started to glow red. His body got pins and needles like always but then something unexpected happened. The energy from the spell became violent became violent and started to shock Ivan and put him into a babbling frenzy while fidgeting about as he was surrounded with the spells red raging aura, "Was zum Teufel ist los!? עפּעס איז פאַלש מיט די מאַגיש! CHARMIX! If you can hear this! My name is Ivan Que! I am the bastard magician! I have been told I must help you with your current situation though I am not clear onto what it may be! Use the arcane energy from this spell to trace back to me and give me your location! and I will then find you! Cheers!" Ivan released himself from the spell and was sent flying into a wall five feet away. Though the spell was sent to the female sorceress Charmix there was a major lash back from the spell. The magician laid on the floor with his cigarette hanging half out of his mouth in pain. "Ow...Just..Owww... That chick BETTER get that message cause the pain was enough!". He sighed and laid there for a few more moments recovering from the spell malfunction.

Sh!t... This may be more heavy of a situation then I thought it would be...

Location: Vine City…

Soaring down through the clouds a large and dragon burst out from the white covering of the sky, bow flying of city. Sitting on top of the great beast, Charles looked down to find that as far he could see nothing had changed here, yet. “Alright, Larry let’s head down to Titans Tower.” He spoke as Larry began to descend even more towards the city, with his large wings extended from his body as they both glided over the buildings while citizens below looked on as the large dragon soared by overhead. Seeing the tower off in the distance, he spotted two figures standing in the front of the building. “Wonder who that could be.” He pondered to himself as Larry flapped his wings, slowing down their decent before finally touching before the two figures.

But as he studied the two for a moment, he quickly recognized one of them as none other than, “Hotaru!!!” He shouted with a bit of surprise in his voice. Sliding down off of Larry’s back, he ran up to her as a smile grew across his face. “Where on earth have you been, Blair and I looked everywhere for you. Speaking of Blair, where is she?” He asked looking around, but his happy expression vanished as Hotaru didn’t answer but simply turned her head back towards the tower. It had been forever since he last saw Hotaru, every since the Vine Titans had disbanded and with everything that had happened with her mother, Feral Nova, she literally had vanished.

Standing next to her, they both looked on at the tower as it stood there broken and abandoned, every since what had happened to Moonglow no one had done anything with the building. Noticing the little girl standing next to Hotaru, he couldn’t help but think she looked like a mini-Hotaru, “I’m not even going to ask.” He said as he walked past them both, making his way up to the front door of the building. Punching in his old VT pass code, dust appeared as the door slid open. “Huh, that’s weird the power shouldn’t be on.” He mentioned as the three of them entered into the building. Due to Larry being so big, he had to remain outside.

As they entered into what was once the living room, the door behind them slammed shut, locking them all in. But as they looked around, they quickly realized that the entire inside of the building was now completely restored to how it was before Moonglow destroyed it. Looking down at himself, Charles found himself now wearing his original uniform that he was wearing when he first came to this universe. “Okaaaay, this is just getting weirder and weirder.” He whispered as they continued through the building, with no sign of Blair anywhere.

Blair, you in here?!” He shouted as they continued down the halls, little did they know that hiding in the shadows, little red eyes were stalking their every move. Seeing a light on at the end of the hall, Charles put his finger up to his mouth, motioning Hotaru and mini-Hotaru to be quite as he made his way stealthily down the hall towards the light. Sticking his head into the door, he let out a sigh of relief as he saw Blair sitting there on a bed with her dog, Zachery. “Blair!” He shouted as he entered into the room and quickly hugged her. “I’m so glad you’re alright, what happened?” He asked. Looking past Hotaru though, he suddenly saw a figure moving down the hall. Making his way into the hall, he quickly stopped as his eyes widened, “Oh no.” He whispered as before them stood Charmix as she swiftly stabbed a stake through Moonglow. Pushing mini-Hotaru behind him, blocking her view of the violence, he grabbed Blair’s arm as she rushed to help Moonglow. “Blair, wait!” he said as he drew her attention to their surroundings as everything around them, including Charmix and Moonglow’s lifeless body, all began to turn into fog and fade away, revealing the now destroyed and ruined tower. “It’s not real, Blair. It was just an illusion.”

But as the fog slowly faded away, now lying on the floor where Charmix and Moonglow just were, a large book could be found. Kneeling down next to it, Charles opened the front cover to see the name “Yuki Helena Rose” inscribed on the back of the front. “It’s Yuki’s old spell book.” He said after studying it a bit more. “But why here, why now all of the sudden?” He asked out loud as he flipped the pages of the book, finding one page marked with a photo of Yuki, Blair, Hotaru, and Charles and one of the spells on the page circled, drawing more attention to it than the others.

But before questions could be answered, shrieking from the shadows like a pack of laughing hyena’s small red-eyed demonic creatures appeared from every shadow in the room, surrounding the four of them. “Quickly, everyone head towards the exit!” He shouted, handing Blair the book as he smacked one of the little demon’s away with his shield while trying to make a path towards the exit.

Every second demonic minds were in pain by psychic screams implanted by Cecilia. Not without hesitation she unleash her psychic maelstrom into their mind, achieving multiple effects in each demons' mind, from killing, stunning, to exploding their thoughts. Her eyes showed a cold fierce mission, to rid this threat. "Yes" the Champion replied, then by the second a large impacting electrical bolt shot from the sky and vaporized the surrounding demons leaving the rest of the civilzed beings unscatched. What stood underneath them was a large crater from the lightning summoned by the God's knight.

"How about we get to the bottom of this mystical crisis?", Alceus his name was, suggested, as he turned to face the two sorcerers, "We need to get to the main source of this problem. But I'm sure the path is swarmed with threats. Are you guys willing to help me out in this? So we can save the world?" he added. Needing their help in order to save his gods and the rest of the world he was dutied to do. “Well I’ve defiantly got you’re back on this I’ll help anyway I can you’ve got my full Mutant and Magical power’s at you’re disposal. But finding the source of the problem is gonna be hard and with our magic so unstable It’s going to be even tougher.” Umbra said as he go off his knee and sided for the good. “Charmix I’ll help anyway I can but I don’t know enough about magic that’s why I came to you. Do you have any Idea, any spell that could help lead us to the source of the problem?” he asked.

Seeing the look in her allies eyes she comply and agreed to stand in their trio. "The source of this problem? Everything is the problem, this world is going to tear itself outsunder, time is already distorted. And magic itself is unbalance. Trying a spell now is more difficult, we'll have to resort to using a more ritualized spell. A simple teleportion spell won't cut it anymore, Umbra I know you can feel it as well. The magical fields are twisting and bending. A simple spell like that could give out a different unwanted result" she said as her knowldge in the occults was benefitting the team. "Though it's time-consuming, we'll have to give it our all. One mistake and this teleportation spell could rip our limbs and scattered them apart. And you know.." she added giving them time to visualize on how serious the spell was going to be and the threat that was to come if they didn't perform it correctly.

"We need to go to one of the Ley lines on Earth." she said, "Ley Lines?" both the Champion and Umbra asked in surprise. "The center point, a nexus where magic is focused , like a magic resevior." she informed them, "Ley lines are scattered through out the world, the only close location I can think of now is in Florida's swamp, I have a mansion located there and in every other Ley locations.". "How is that even possible to have that many houses or mansions there?" the Champion asked, "It's really one mansion, but my ancestors tapped into the nexus and created some sort of infinite dimension, that when ever a person is near the Ley lines, they will see my mansion and it's all connected as one. Pretty mouth full right?".

"Now enough of the chatters, time is almost out." Ironic she thought, time is almost out, and it was true, every witch on Earth knew it, they could feel it as if they were connected. "We need a way to reach Florida quick. Alecus can you take us there, like a bolt travel?" without giving him time to respond, she urged him to try. "Maybe both you and Umbra can try, since time and space is severely affected, both of you, together, can summon a lightning bolt. Focus it on this dead demon's body, with the help of you two's energy bolt and this demon's magic essence. The fields of time and space should warp as energy and magic meet. Creating a sort of temporary portal. It should be open for about twelve seconds enough for the three of us to rush in it.

As the two prepared to do what was asked of them, a voice struck Cecilia, "Was zum Teufel ist los!? עפּעס איז פאַלש מיט די מאַגיש! CHARMIX! If you can hear this! My name is Ivan Que! I am the bastard magician! I have been told I must help you with your current situation though I am not clear onto what it may be! Use the arcane energy from this spell to trace back to me and give me your location! and I will then find you! Cheers!". Holding her head, she wondered was that a Yiddish dialect? "Florida, you'll find me at Florida. I'll have something in store for you." she said mentally back to the voice that approach her. As she looked back to the progress of her two allies, a spark twinkle the air above the demon.

"Was this suppose to happen?" Umbra asked, "Yes, its forming. Hurry seconds before it'll collasped. Let's go." she urged as she rushed through the portal with her companions. Once entering the other side of the magical gate way lead them to a serene field. Nothing like a swamp the others thought, "Magic shifted the landscape..." she said as she walked further down the deep trenches. "Where here." she said calmly, the others were suprise at what she was talking about, what stood before them was an empty field. Letting her right palm out front she moved her hands slowly, "Feel that? The heat, it's the magic spell thats cloaking the mansion. Mystics only should feel it, while the normal population will not." touching the energy field in mutiple directions she shattered the glamour and revealed her estate. Walking through the energy shield and opening it allowing both Champion and Umbra to come forth, she paused and turned around to face the two. "Were going to have a new guest arriving shortly." she said as she dug her nails into the grass and lifted a chunk up revealing piles of buried potions. Picking one vial up she toss it in front of her leading it to explode into gas. Then seconds a portal was summon, hoping her new guest would met and arrive through it.

Diving both up and down the air, she summerse herself in flames like a metoer, enough force to knock back some demons. The burn of beauty flay their skins as the Black Queen touched them with her unstable magic. “I can get us out of here, but we need to keep them off of us for a little bit,” X-Factor said, "Time is of an essence. Do too hurry will you dear." she said calmy as she shot fire balls and launch them at rapid succession. A bright light shot from one of her mechanic ally's device scaring back the demons who stop in their tracks and froze, “Go through the boom tube, it will take you to my secret base in the Marianas Trench. I’ll keep them busy till you get through. Go, before the battery dies and we’re all trapped here.”. "Thank you darling." she replied as she strut down into the portal along with Clara. "Such a doll don't you think Clara?" she spoke to the lifeless puppet of higher order, "Yeah silence will do us no good." crossing her arms as Factor made it through and introduce her to his base.

“Welcome to my humble abode. The magical fluxuations are weaker and less frequent here since we are where there is very little life.” he guided them around and gestured towards a large metallic cube housing various mystical runes and artifacts, “I would avoid touching that if I were you, my queen, or it will capture you and drain you dry of all your magic.” he warned her. "Don't waste your time telling me, I've seen these in the achives, the rod of the Jaded King and the orb of Diao. They are no interest of to me yet. I have more pressing matters to deal with." she said rudely as she continue to feel her magic slip and bend from the magic flux. Reaching to open a drawer Factor wore a head band with red light "Strange." she said to herself, “As I told you before, my mistress, Charmix is responsible for the problems you both are having with your telepathy and your hexes.” he pressed on along with a button “She has been steadily ripping apart the very fabric of existence, either consciously or unconsciously,”. "Impossible she does not possess the talents that of a god." Selene said in retaliation, “We are only seeing this now because it has been destroying every other dimension before returning to destroy the one dimension that created it.”.

He was right, she saw Meridia collasped under itself, the magic that fueled the planet ultimately turned on itself and thus it was gone. Then he showed a model of both herself and Charmix. “With that device, I can transfer Charmix’s powers to anyone wearing this headband at the moment of the transfer. Using the god-like power she possesses, not only could that person repair the damage she has done, but they can also rewrite reality to be whatever they desire,” his words seemed convincing but there was more to it. “You could erase her from existence, set yourself as the source of all magic, anything.” he finished. "Such thing is impossible with science. Magic is science is but of opposites. Magic itself couldn't replicate what she has done at a massive scale like this. Not the least to your little toys. There is no way a simple tech could send the essence of one's witch's gift into another without the same source doing so." doubting his gear while explaining on how magic and science could never be fated with one another.

“But there are a few problems that have come to my attention,” he said as he set the headband on the desk. “These runes won’t be able to hold her long enough to ensure the transfer is complete, especially with the magical interference. Physical restraints won’t do a thing against her powers and she is able to use her psychic abilities while performing spells. Then there’s these guys,” he showed a satellite of Umbra, Champion, and of course Charmix. “There will be others who will also protect her besides these two, and having to deal with a god with his powers in tact will be difficult enough. So now I must ask the both of you,” turning back to face the two women, “How do we capture and hold her?”.

That was the real question, in doing so Selene herself could restore what is already lost. "What makes you think your little gear can wistand her immense power." gliding across the room. "What are your motives in this?" she began to toy around with questions, questioning his postition in this game. "But there is no risk in chancing it right?" she said, "I myself deploy a spell. I've got the right one in hand, plus theres another event happening in Canada right now as we speak. Her trails leaves the stench of pure ambient magic. Once she makes it to Charmix, I'll take it from there, you just put the device in ready." she knew doing so was risky. But what choices did she have.

The game was set and time was running out, she'll play along Factor's rule while at the same time disrupt it in any way she could. This was all too good for her and it was quite easy, there was of course some motives that he had, thankfully his inorganic mind made it hard for her, if she knew the truth all hell would set loose in his base. "Take me as close to her as possible, but not too close, she has defensive wards that'll keep us out but just enough for us to be there when the time is right. I'm expecting there'll be visitors with the same motives outside her shields. Be prepared, now are you ready?" she smiled as she waited for Factor, for his turn in this game of chess was now in his favor.

With no more than a minute after his request, Alceus got an answer, first from an enthusiastic Umbra. "Well I've definitely got your back on this, I'll help anyway I can, you've got my full Mutant and Magical powers at your disposal", now those were the words that a smiling Alceus wanted to hear. Umbra continued, "But finding the source of the problem is gonna be hard and with our magic so unstable, it's going to be even tougher", the young mutant sorcerer added as he got to his feet. "Awesome", Alceus smiled, clearly content with Umbra's decision to help him save the world. "Charmix, I'll help anyway I can but I don't know enough about magic that's why I came to you. Do you have an idea, any spell that could help lead us to the source of the problem?", Umbra asked. Alceus on the other hand wasn't too open to the idea of using magic due to the recent events which rendered magical energy unstable and unpredictable. However, he didn't voice his opinion on the suggestion, he wasn't as knowledgeable in the field of magic as Umbra and Charmix. After a brief period of silence and thought, Charmix agreed to aid Alceus and Umbra in their quest to put a stop to the disruption of the physical universe. "The source of this problem? Everything is the problem, this world is going to tear itself asunder, time is already distorted. And magic itself is unbalanced. Trying a spell now is more difficult, we'll have to resort to using a more ritualized spell. A simple teleportation spell won't cut it anymore, Umbra, I know you can feel it as well. The magical fields are twisting and bending. A simple spell like that could give out a different unwanted result", Charmix's response was a logical one. She shared Alceus' opinion on attempting to cast a spell at the moment.

However, a teleportation spell may not even be needed. With Athena's vast knowledge contained in his helmet, Alceus can possibly bend the forces of nature and it's ambient energies to achieve a similar effect. Athena's knowledge most likely had information on such actions. The Champion though, could see that Charmix's expertise on the mystical will be very beneficial for the trio. "Though it's time-consuming, we'll have to give it our all. One mistake and this teleportation spell could rip our limbs and scatter them apart. And you know..", Charmix revealed, informing her comrades of the possible consequences of one mere mistake during preparation for the teleportation spell. "Don't worry about me. I'm taking this as seriously as I can", Alceus assured her, nodding his head. Honestly, the sound of having his limbs torn apart from a simple mistake made him determined to perform perfectly, he couldn't risk disappointing not only Olympus and it's future generation but the entire physical universe as well. "We need to go to one of the Ley Lines on Earth", Charmix said. Surprised, Alceus couldn't help but ask, and was surprised that Umbra asked as well, "Ley Lines?", they both asked in unison. Taking her time to explain what Ley Lines are, Charmix made the explanation as clear as possible for such a serious situation. "The center point, a nexus where magic is focused, like a magic reservoir. Ley lines are scattered throughout the world, the only close location I can think of now is in Florida's swamp, I have a mansion located there and in every other Ley location", Charmix revealed. Were his ears playing tricks on him or did Charmix just say she was in possession of a multitude of mansions? Alceus simply had to ask, just how wealthy would she have to be? "How is that even possible, to have that many houses or mansions there?", Alceus asked curiously. "It's really one mansion, but my ancestors tapped into the nexus and created some sort of infinite dimension, that whenever a person is near the Ley lines, they will see my mansion and it's all connected as one. Pretty mouthful right?, Charmix replied. Chuckling, The Champion responded, "No kidding".

Soon the impressive sorceress made it clear that the time for idle banter is over. Charmix made it a point that they all require a way to reach Florida quickly. While Alceus could simply fly to Florida at insane speeds, Umbra and Charmix were unfortunately not gifted with such powers. And carrying them at such speeds could prove harmful to their bodies as they may not be physically durable enough to endure the intensity of unprotected high-speed flight. Charmix then suggested a different method of travel. "We need a way to reach Florida quick. Alceus can you take us there, like a bolt travel?", she didn't really give Alceus the opportunity to respond even though he did get the gist of what she was saying. She quickly urged him to attempt it and even suggested that Umbra can help since he too possesses the ability to manipulate the violent element known as lightning. "Focus it on this dead demon's body, with the help of you two's energy bolt and this demon's magic essence, the fields of time and space should warp as energy and magic meet. Creating a sort of temporary portal. It should be open for about twelve seconds, enough for the three of us to rush in it", Charmix revealed. Her plan was genius. She must certainly possess an incredible amount of knowledge about nature and the universe if she can come up with such a plan. Both the Son of Olympus and Umbra used their great powers in order to achieve what Charmix calls "bolt travel". Concentrating as much as he can, Alceus remained silent, not giving time to any distractions. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, a spark of electricity surged in the space above the deceased demon. Umbra, just as curious as Alceus was, asked if the spark was a good sign of progress. Charmix's confirmation was all that was needed as the temporary portal formed.

Rushing into the temporary portal with his new comrades, mighty Alceus found himself emerging into a rather tranquil field. So this was the swamp? It certainly didn't look like one. "What kind of swamp is this? This looks more.. unruffled", The Champion asked, commenting on the mysterious "swamp's" appearance. "Magic shifted the landscape...", Charmix said, answering everyone's questions. Calmly following her down the deep trenches, Alceus could feel the portal's effects on him. He is vulnerable to the multiple energies generated by portals, he was a little weakened by it. It was an artificial portal so it did not affect him gravely. However, he was a tad weaker than before, but nothing one could notice. "We're here", Charmix announced. But Alceus was confused, and he could tell that Umbra was as well. All he saw before him was an endless empty field. Before he could ask any questions, Charmix let her right palm out and moved her hands in a slow manner. "Feel that? The heat, it's the magic spell that's cloaking the mansion. Mystics only should feel it, while the normal population will not", Charmix revealed, quickly revealing the large mansion. "I see", the Olympian Champion murmured, calmly removing his helmet. The teenage sorceress then used her abilities to make it so that both Alceus and Umbra can walk through the energy shield. Walking towards her, Alceus suddenly stopped as Charmix turned to face him as well as Umbra. "We're going to have a new guest arriving shortly", she revealed, digging her nails into the grass, lifting a chunk of it that hid numerous potions. Grabbing one vial and quickly tossing it in front of her, it exploded, turning into gas. Almost instantly afterwards, a dimensional portal formed, but this one was more effective than the temporary one that the heroes had used. "Is this guest of you'rs a magic user?", Alceus asked, curiously, wondering how well this new guest would benefit them.

In the midst of Chicago, a hero...a hugely powerful looking man wearing an odd sort of combination of spandex and armor, was being forced to fight Kargoth for his own amusement. "You'll never get away with this." The man wheezed as Kargoth stood over his body in the midst of a pile of rubble. "We already have...your precious nation is on it's knees." Kargoth sneered as the man let loose a battle cry and rushed at the Death Knight, only for his fist to be caught in mid punch and then his hand twisted behind him.

Though the man was over class one hundred, he was nowhere near Kargoth's level of strength, as demonstrated when he punched the Death knight square in the chest with every ounce of force he had with his other hand, only for Kargoth to laugh at the ineffective assault. The Death Knight's return punch, an left uppercut with titanic amounts of force behind it, sent the man flying into the air for an enormous distance. The military head of the Black Hand calmly moved towards the hero as he coughed out blood and tried to pick himself off the ground.

"Pathetic" he sneered as he grabbed him by the collar and slammed him into the ground before punting him a few city blocks down in the burnt of shell that was once Chicago. Another hero, likely a energy manipulator judging by the beam of energy she fired at his back, let loose a stream of multicoloured energy at the Death Knight. This prompted Kargoth to stop in midstep and slowly turn towards the heroine. With a snarl the undead warrior slammed his fist into the ground with enough force to create a magnitude 9.5 earthquake, shaking the entire ground for miles around and forcing her to the ground as the earth buckled and groaned.

Yet another hero launched a telekinetic assault; throwing a series of debris at Kargoth, all of which shattered against his armor. Turning towards the source of the attack, yet another young man of a more lithe build than the bruiser, Kargoth sneered before letting loose a gust of hellfire from his mouth; engulfing the young man and incinerating him, mind, body, and soul. Once again the large burly man trued to rush at Kargoth while a superspeedster ran around him, throwing lightning quick punches that made little more than an annoying dinging noise against his black plate armor.

"You'll never take this city while I still live monster!" The burly hero said, causing Kargoth to chuckle as he turned to greet his charge. "Terms accepted." He chuckled as he threw his fist into the chest of the massive man, easily punching through his rib cage and plunging his hand into his chest cavity to grab his heart before his bloodstained fist smashed through his back, the still beating heart in his hand. With a single crushing motion, Kargoth mulched the organ into pulp before tearing his fist out, letting the man sink to the ground, his body devoid of life.

When the speedster came again, Kargoth halted him in his path by taking his axe out and jabbing it into the woman's chest, stopping her in her tracks before he got behind her and kicked her legs out with a single sweep, forcing her to the ground as he brought his axe forward and jabbed it into her face. With a single pull, Kargoth tore her head and spine free from her body, the sound of the connection between rib cage and spinal colum popping and tearing filling the air as he claimed his bloody trophy.

With vast torrents of blood pouring out of her destroyed body, kargoth threw away the spine and advanced towards the energy manipulator, who shot one more beam into the death knight. But he simply powered through it as if it were little more than a breeze. With a grabbing motion he took her hand in his and violently forced her hand to point towards her face, blasting off a third of her head with her own beam. Letting loose a scream of agony, she tried to turn around and fire off another beam, but by this time Kargoth was ready and met her with a slice of his sword, chopping off the arm before making a massive punch that sent her body flying away to bleed to death, crashing through a collapsed building with an satisfying squelching noise made by ruptured organs.

But as he congratulated himself, a series of missiles hit him in the back, prompting him to turn to the last member of the heroic task force, a cyclopean robot. Charging at the Robot, kargoth dropped down into a roll and shot a little thin ray of hellfire into it's chest, forcing it to stagger to the ground from shock before he stood up out of his roll and threw his right fist forward in a massive hook punch that smashed through it's abdomen with such force that the entire left side of it's abdomen exploded.

As he stepped around the machine, he swung his fist in a wide arc that hit it's head with so much force that it knocked it's optic out of it's socket, leaving it dangling before it's head before Kargoth grabbed him and forced him down in an chokeslam, grabbing his optic cable through his throat and yanking until the optic was pulled through the head with so much force that it ruptured in a burst of metallic fragments. "Task force dealt with..." Kargoth reported over a commlink. "Excellent..." Vrakmul's chilling voice responded over the link.

In the meantime, Johnathan continued his search for the group. He had a key on Alceus' signal...so he followed that in hopes that it would lead him to where he wanted. Carried forth by hypersonic winds, the boy saint soon came across where Alceus should be, and he soon let himself to the ground and continued his search on foot. After a bit of wandering, he came across the group, in the midst of summoning someone and underneath his helmet, the boy beamed at the sight of Alceus. "Fancy running into you again!" He said cheerfully.

Que's apartment

Que inspected his left hand while laying on the couch, it had been what felt like hours to the magician but only due to his lack of patience. I didn't want this.. When I got into magic I was a young brat.. I didn't expect my life to be turned into sh/t cause of that DAMN OATH! In frustration Que tossed his beer bottle at the wall and rubbed his tired eyes. But then it hit him... Wait... With magic going haywire.. Does that me- But before he could finish the thought the floor in the kitchen bursted into flames. Que jumped up and watched the hellfire slowly create a hex on the ground that made the tiles crack. Now you may be a little confused on what the hell is going on, a few years back an old time enemy named Pauk decided to try and switch places with me, him being a demon I would be sent to hell while he walks the earth. He got close to doing it but it boiled down to a scrap in my apartment, and I managed to trap him in a banishing sigil back into hell... But with magic on the fritz..

Finally the Hex shattered and a seven foot dark blue demon flew out roaring, before Que could even cuss at his predicament the demon had him by the neck pinned to the wall across the room. While Que gasped for air Pauk smirked with his shiny fangs, "If it isn't my favorite magus Que... Been a while hey? It took a moment to notice the earths magic is faltering... But at least I still have you.." Pauk's voice was enough to vibrate a persons chest with how low his voice was. Christ.. If I don't think of something soon im f/cked...  Que tried to think of a scheme while also trying to stay alive. Alright... Alright... You got me.. *Cough* But how did you know I kept the stone here? Que's face showed surprise towards the now confused demon. Pauk's grip loosened just enough for Que to breath properly. "What are you talking about mortal? Tell me..Now!" The demons grip only tightened for a moment to show he wanted answers.

Que choked while the grip firmed but then looked afraid and mumbled in a panic. I don't know what I was talking about! R-really there isnt any stone here honest! Que raised his hands up to justify his frightened expression. The demon felt lucky and clever, as if he discovered something the magician was hiding from him specifically, his red eyes stared into Que's attempting to break him mentally and emotionally and that's when he noticed that Que was looking at something behind where Pauk was standing. Pauk looked over to see a small chest covered in seals and markings, "Well then... What have we here? Would this be the stone you were speaking of?"  Pauk chuckled as he tossed Que across the room and crashed into the kitchen.

The demon walked up to the chest with a sinister grin on his face, he gently placed his large claws on the top half and lifted it open. The demon's grin vanished as he found it was Que's stash of booze. Now angered he turned to where he threw the magician and saw him leaning on the counter lighting a cigarette, a massive grin on his face. "How! How could I-" But Que cut him off. Most magic is makin' someone look the other way mate... Oh and then there is this... Que showed he had a pile of table salt in his right hand which was inked with a multi-transmutation circle. As Que made a fist with the salt in his hand the demon attempted to flee but in second Que through the salt, but before it even left his hands was used to ignite a explosive arcane reaction. After a massive light Que opened his eyes to see the part of the apartment that Que threw the salt at was in tatters, pretty much gone.

Que puffed on his cigarette with surprise and chuckled a bit, Ok... May have overdone that one a bit... That isnt going to stop Pauk for long, he is wounded but with that demons blood he is going to be hot on my trail, how the f/ck am I going to get all the way to flor- Que stopped that thought as soon as a dimensional portal sparked and flashed into existence in his living room. Oh.. Yeah that would do it.. Before Que left he grabbed a few spices, a bottle of gin and four packs of cigarettes that were now in his trenchcoat. And with a deep breath he walked into the portal, he suddenly felt warm weather on his face and a breeze. Making a good entrance Que tightened his black tie a tad and took a drag of his cigarette as he looked at his new mates that brought him there. Ello' Names Que... Who the f/ck are you lot?

Once he had finished his explanations, Selena began to question how the machine works and his motives. “My motives are my own and my technology can do things your hocus pocus couldn’t accomplish, wench!” thought the robot behind the emotionless mask of his face and eyes. “My motives are only to repay the generosity you showed me by sparing my life, my queen,” he said in a calm voice as he got up and kneeled to her again. “As for my technology, it will be ready the moment you beckon it.” He then walked over to the nearby wall and gestured to the keyboard next to a large ring jutting out of the wall. “Whenever you are ready to leave, just type in the destination you wish to go to on Earth and it will take you there. Just make sure to grab a remote control next to the keyboard or you won’t be coming back here.” X walked away from the portal generator and walked towards an empty section of wall. “I need to pick up a few more things before I will be ready to face those three.” A boom tube opened in front of the robot and he continued to walk towards it before stopping just at the opening. “If you want food or drinkable water, I suggest you go to a nice restaurant. I tend not to have those sort of things here.” With that, he left the two women and disappeared into the white tunnel.

He appeared just outside the gates of Olympus and he began looking for his target. He looked at every stairway and building for the point of most resistance, since it would be there that his prize would be kept. Once he found its location, he jumped the gates and moved stealthily towards the main stairway. In front of it was a man who vaguely resembled the images of mighty Hercules. “Great, it’s hard enough sneaking into the realm of the gods, but it’s even harder to fight them.” He quickly began going over his options when Aphrodite and Hera began walking towards him. Without thinking, X moved backwards to hide in the clouds that surrounded the walkways. He was barely able to save himself from falling to the mortal world below by grabbing the very edges of the golden pathway. The two goddesses didn’t notice him and walked right past him, one of them accidentally stepping on his fingers.

X climbed back up when he was sure the coast was clear and rubbed his sore fingers while he continued coming up with his plan. Soon he had it and his body began to transform. In moments, he looked like Zeus, or as close as he could get to the king’s appearance using the ancient Grecian artwork. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves and began walking towards the guardian. While his outward appearance remained imposing and calm, inside he grew more and more nervous. Hercules looked at the fake Zeus with a raised eyebrow as the imposter came face to face with him. He stood staring at him for a few moments before getting on one knee and bowing to him. “My king, why have you left the Council of Deities and returned to Olympus?” The phony Zeus’ calm face hid the immediate panic that now filled his mind as he tried to think of how the real king of the Greek gods sounded. “Am I not allowed to see my daughter and worry about her wellbeing?” asked X in a deep voice that seemed to command authority. Hercules looked up at the robot and stood back up. “Of course not, great Zeus,” said the guardian, erasing the panic that had been filling the robot’s mind. X-Factor nodded and began walking up the stone steps to the temple ahead, but stopped after climbing only three steps. He turned around to face Hercules again and gave him a kind smile. “Go, get some food and drink to ease yourself. Nothing will happen so long as I am present.” The son of Amphitryon smiled as he thanked the phony Zeus and the two went their separate ways.

The goddess Athena laid weakened in her bed, her hand maids attempting to ease her suffering as much as they could. They stopped as the doors to her mighty domain burst open, the bronze striking the flawless marble with a loud bang. In the middle of the doorway was X-Factor, who continued on to the inner domain disguised as Zeus. Athena weakly brought her head up to look at the intruder of her home. “Who are you? Why do you defile my sacred home with your presence?” X continued to approach the goddess with cold eyes as his disguise seemed to melt away. “You know who I am Pallas and why I come, unless your wisdom is connected to your magic,” said the robot in the ancient Greek language The goddess’ eyes widened as she attempted to beat the intruder back. X grabbed her by the wrist and held her effortlessly in his grip. “You are too weak to strike me down, and I do not wish to harm you,” he continued as he carefully reached down and picked her up in his arms. “I will not let you use me as a shield to ward off my brother!” she yelled in the same language as she attempted to escape from him. “I’m sorry for doing this, but please endure this disgrace for just a little while.

The goddess was caught off guard by his comment and looked at his face with a confused look. On the mechanical menace’s face was a look of sadness and remorse, which surprised her even more than the comment. “You won’t trick me with such poor acting,” she scowled as she went back to struggling. X let out a sigh as he continued to carry her out. “You are no different than the mortals who we both watch over.” She looked more confused than before as she stopped struggling and stared into his face again. “You judge me before you bother to learn the reason for my deeds,” he continued as they stepped out of the building and proceeded down the stone steps. “You know that I am Gearo and that while I was created to be a weapon, I made the choice be something different. I will not deny that I know what I am doing is wrong, and I am willing to suffer whatever fate sees as a fitting punishment for what I’ve done lately, but I want to at least see my heart’s deepest desire come true.” She gave him a half-hearted glare while a question popped into her head. “What is it you desire that you would kidnap a god and risk an eternity suffering a fate worse than death?” She asked as they reached the bottom of the stairs. He stopped on the last step and looked at her with eyes that looked like they were about to cry. “I want to restore the one thing human race has been giving up over the course of their existence. I want to give them back their humanity.

The goddess was dumbstruck at what she had heard. X-Factor turned his attention away from her as he continued towards the ancient gates of Olympus. The two remained quiet for a little bit, until Ares and Poseidon came running up towards them, their bronze spears and armor gleaming as they came up to the intruder. Behind them was one of the maids from Athena’s chambers, keeping her distance from the warriors. “Trespassing on Olympus and kidnapping my sister is a crime punishable by death!” yelled Ares as he charged at the robot, Poseidon following close behind. X got into a fighting stance as he prepared to avoid the God of War’s assault, but was surprised when Athena climbed out of his arms and brought her arms up to protect him. Ares and Poseidon stopped in their tracks. “Pallas, why are you protecting your kidnapper?!” asked Poseidon as he and Ares moved their spears away from her. “He is not kidnapping me,” she said as her knees began to buckle and she began to fall. X quickly caught the goddess and helped hold her up. “He is taking me to Alceus so I may help him through this crisis.” X and the two gods stared at her in surprise as she nudged the robot with her elbow. X regained his composure and picked her back up in her arms. The two gods looked at him with distrustful looks before turning away from them and head back to their homes. X watched the two of them leave before looking down at the weakened goddess in his arms. “Why did you tell them that?” She looked back up at him and said in a gentler tone, “Because you will be taking me to see my brother. The method is not a desirable one, but it will lead to the same end.” With that, the kidnapper leapt into the air with his captive and jumped over the golden gates of Olympus. On the other side, X opened another boom tube and left the realm of the gods with his prize.

Standing along side the Champion in the now desolate city streets both looked towards Charmix waiting for her answering he hoped she’d help them they needed her and a wave of relief washed over him when she stood up with them her statement on the other hands brought the anxiety back again "The source of this problem? Everything is the problem, this world is going to tear itself outsunder, time is already distorted. And magic itself is unbalance. Trying a spell now is more difficult, we'll have to resort to using a more ritualized spell. A simple teleportion spell won't cut it anymore, Umbra I know you can feel it as well. The magical fields are twisting and bending. A simple spell like that could give out a different unwanted result"

She was of course right he could feel “it” he couldn’t describe it, you would have to feel it yourself to understand it completely. She continued to speak and unintentionally made the situation feel even more hopeless "Though it's time-consuming, we'll have to give it our all. One mistake and this teleportation spell could rip our limbs and scattered them apart. And you know.." she didn’t need to go on he got her meaning just as Alceus did.

Before he could open his mouth to speak Charmix spoke yet again “We need to go to one of the Lay Lines on Earth” now this was something he didn’t know about, mention the elements and Michael could tell you anything you wanted to know but he wasn’t the only one lost Alceus was in the same position in unison both blurted out “Lay Lines” to which Charmix thankfully explained yet again "The center point, a nexus where magic is focused , like a magic resevior. Ley lines are scattered through out the world, the only close location I can think of now is in 's swamp, I have a mansion located there and in every other Ley locations." Alceus clearly astounded ask the witch “How is that even possible to have that many houses or mansions there? To be honest Michael was a little curious himself his own family was wealthy but not enough that they could afford the number of mansions that she was describing. "It's really one mansion, but my ancestors tapped into the nexus and created some sort of infinite dimension, that when ever a person is near the Ley lines, they will see my mansion and it's all connected as one. Pretty mouth full right?". He sort of understood it now though it was still slightly confusing.

“Now enough of the chatters, time is almost out. We need a way to reach quick. Alecus can you take us there, like a bolt travel? Maybe both you and Umbra can try, since time and space is severely affected, both of you, together, can summon a lightning bolt. Focus it on this dead demon's body, with the help of you two's energy bolt and this demon's magic essence. The fields of time and space should warp as energy and magic meet. Creating a sort of temporary portal. It should be open for about twelve seconds enough for the three of us to rush in it.” Whoa he thought this is gonna be tough and truthfully he felt a little intimidated standing in front of Alceus, Michael’s powers were nothing to his Alceus was a God and Michael was just a elemental mutant playing a God but he had to try they depending on his help, concentrating on the atmosphere above and around him Michael felt that surge of power that was so well known to him now, he could taste the electricity in the air, as the magical essence of the demon and the raw power of lightning formed it hovered in the air in front of there faces he’d never seen lightning behave in such a manner before turning to Charmix he shouted to her "Was this supposed to happen?” she confirmed it and pushed both Michael and Alceus through the tear in space that they had both just recently created.

Passing through the gateway Michael felt that pulling sensation in the pit of his stomach that he’d had before clearly teleporting wasn’t agreeing with him. Landing face first in a beautiful grassy field Michael could have been more confused his body was telling him they were at the swamp but visually they had been transported to a field “Magic shifted the landscape... Were here.Feel that? The heat, it's the magic spell thats cloaking the mansion. Mystics only should feel it, while the normal population will not.” Getting up from his feet he walked towards where Charmix had indicated and true enough he could feel but he could see it too, the magic disrupted the natural flow of the environment, air currents, temperature, weather patterns all were affected by the magic it had warped the landscape “Feel it….. I can see it too” turning towards the other too “Can’t you?” his question went unanswered as a rift in the mystical shield opened allowing the three of them to step into the garden on the mansion.

Bending down and digging up a portion of the ground Charmix spoke to both of them indirectly “We're going to have a new guest arriving shortly" getting up Charmix had a potion clutched in her hand, tossing it towards the ground the bottle shattered and a gaseous vapour rose up and swirled forming a portal “Is this guest of yours a magic user?" The Champion seemed to ask this out of nowhere Michael was sure a Charmix had summoned another magic user the more of them there were the more likely their spells would be controlled but this ritualised magic Michael was curious how it would be any better than the magic they have now, still he trusted Charmix knew what she was doing.

This part really surprised Michael from behind a voice called out “Fancy running into you again” someone had followed them through the gap in the mystical shield he seemed to know Alceus suddenly the portal closed and man stood in a sort of casual suit “Ello’ Names Que.. Who the f**k are you lot? Now that just annoyed Michael he was not going to like him in the slightest he just got that vibe off of this new guys “Are you always so rube?” shaking his head Michael introduced himself and shook hands with the new guys “Im Umbra Storm and now that the pleasantries are out of the way let’s get down to business shall we no use sitting here while the world goes to pot. Charmix you were talking about ritualised magic earlier does that include things like lunar phases it's mentioned in this book but let’s just say Latin wasn’t my first subject at school so would you mind explaining it a bit more cause Im out of my depth here”

Michael was tense and anxious now he didn’t have a clue what he was doing, he didn’t know about this kind of stuff he was out of his comfort zone as his allies could most likely tell from his body language at the present time.

From the skies, descended a familiar winged-figure, it was that of a youthful warrior who goes by the name of Jonathan, otherwise known as John. He was in fact the reincarnation of John the Baptist, as well as a friend and ally of Alceus. It was obvious that the resourceful youth had sought The Champion out, it's simply not possible that he was simply on an airborne stroll, not in this kind of situation, in which the very universe was at stake. "Fancy running into you again!", Jonathan said, landing next to the son of Zeus. Smiling, Alceus replied, "Not when you seek me out", he chuckled. Turning to both Charmix and Umbra, heroic Alceus introduced Jonathan to them, "Guys, this is Jonathan. He's a friend of mine. I fought alongside him a couple of times, he can hold his own. He could be of some use to us in this situation", The Champion said. Turning his attention to Jonathan, Alceus introduced his new comrades to the youth, "And John, these are my friends, Charmix and Umbra. They're helping me with the universe's situation. They've proven really resourceful. I hope we can all work together", he smiled, and soon remembered that Charmix had a guest scheduled to arrive at any moment.

Patiently waiting for Charmix's guest, Alceus' natural curiosity began to rise. "I wonder who Charmix is bringing forth. Better be someone of usefulness", mighty Alceus wondered in silence, as he pensively observed the glowing portal. In a matter of seconds, a male figured emerged, wearing a formal suit along with a tie and trench-coat. He was blonde and was in possession of some cigarettes, but despite the initial impression his appearance left on The Champion, Alceus's godly senses almost instantaneously detected an invisible magical aura all about the man's body. Hopefully he would possess some expertise in the field of magic, after all, expert knowledge of the physical universe's current situation would be highly appreciated. "Ello' Names Que... Who the f*ck are you lot?", the man greeted, introducing himself as Que. Seems like he had a British accent, how interesting. Smirking, Alceus tilted his head, facing Charmix, "He seems friendly", The Champion murmured sarcastically. "Que huh? Well my name's Alceus", he said, introducing himself. "Since you're a magic user, I'm betting you've felt the changes in the world and I'm sure you're being affected by them like every other magic user. Spells becoming unstable and whatnot. We could really use your help in this situation. We're not entirely sure on what's happening, we could use a magic expert... that is if you are one. Without one, we won't be able to stop this mess and that'll mean the end of the physical universe", Alceus explained, sounding serious for a moment.

He addressed the newcomer with more calmness and less hostility than the others. Umbra was clearly not pleased by Que's rather rude greeting however, Alceus himself simply shrugged it off. The Son of Olympus cared not how his new acquaintance behaved as long as he proves to be useful and not a liability. Suddenly, in a heartbeat, the mighty hero felt a disturbance, a strange shift in the air. He could no longer sense his sister Athena's mystical connection to him. Has the link broken? Was it not impossible for such an occurrence to take place? How could their mental link possibly have broken? That remains unexplained for now but indeed Alceus could no longer feel his sister's existence. "What's happened to Athena?", the Olympian Champion wondered, he was worried as his current situation meant one of two things. Either the Greek goddess of wisdom and courage has fallen prey to the hands of death or the deteriorating state of the magical and physical dimensions have finally taken it's toll on her and her magic-based powers have been temporarily lost and will never again resurface... at least not until all is well with the world. "There's no way she can be dead. Not with Hercules, Ares and the others in Olympus keeping everything in check. But there's only one way for me to know for sure what has happened. This helmet, it contains all of Athena's knowledge and it updates the knowledge every time she learns something new. So I'm guessing it contains knowledge on Athena's last situation before the link broke. I must search...", Alceus thought, closing his eyes, in order to concentrate. After no more than a nanosecond, the valiant warrior had obtained the information he required to know of Athena's current situation. What he had just learned was surprising, shocking really.

How on Earth was Athena kidnapped? It simply doesn't add up. She was in the safety of her brothers and sisters, all of whom possess the power to crush nearly any mortal that dares stand in their way. Wise Athena herself was weak and in bed from the toll her body had taken due to the unnatural imbalance of magic that was affecting all magic-users in existence, some more than others. However, at full strength, even Athena would make short work of nearly any intruder. The knowledge he had gathered from the helmet was what Athena had just learned prior to the break in the link. "So she was kidnapped", he murmured, sorrow in his eyes. She was lying in bed, resting, replenishing some of her lost energies when an impostor Zeus approached her. Seeing through his disguise, Athena didn't hesitate to voice her distrust and sadly had her weak condition taken advantage of by the kidnapper who revealed his true form. He was no human but certainly no god. He was robotic in nature but did not seem to be entirely evil or evil at all... but he wasn't good either. Then just at that moment as Athena's captor was confronted by Ares and Poseidon, the knowledge was no more, it was then that the link had broken. "He must have managed to get away from them. Either that or maybe he managed to beat them", it was a possibility that courageous Alceus would have to consider. Turning to his friends and Que, Alceus revealed what he had just learned, "Guys, my sister Athena has been kidnapped. I know because my helmet feeds me info on everything she learns but the link broke before I could learn anything else so I only learned up to the kidnapping point. Something's gotta be done", his words, they could not hide his anger but he tried to compose himself, there were bigger things at hand.

"Is this guest of you'rs a magic user?" the Champion asked, "Not quite the usual witch you find more of an annoyance, but we need as much bodies as we can through." she said then noticing a figure passing through the portal, "He's here. Wait someone else is beaming through, my wards are shifting." she commented on shift, "Fancy running into you again!" a boy spoke as he recognised the Champion. "You two know eachother?" she asked, "Ello' Names Que... Who the f/ck are you lot?" the Puzzler spoke. "Shut up, we have a child in our presence you failed English brute." Cecilia responded while the others introduced themselves to the rude man. “Are you always so rude?” shaking his head Umbra introduced himself and shook hands with the new guys “Im Umbra Storm and now that the pleasantries are out of the way let’s get down to business shall we no use sitting here while the world goes to pot. Charmix you were talking about ritualised magic earlier does that include things like lunar phases it's mentioned in this book but let’s just say Latin wasn’t my first subject at school so would you mind explaining it a bit more cause Im out of my depth here”. "Your here because it was fate's action, now shut up and let us get to the bottom of this." she said sarcastically but the part on which she said on fixing the threat was indeed not a sarcastic remark.

"Back to what you were saying Umbra. Correct, I can with your help of using your weather abilities draw the connection to the moon. Summoning a temporal full moon down. It won't affect the time sequence but rather affect the time of area it's affecting. Were just doing a small switch, the eastern country will have the sun while we'll have the moon, only a limited time enough for the spell." she explained. "How is that possible, how can one do it when magic is at this state right now?" the Champion questioned. "Since Umbra controls the weather and the weather itself is determine or affecting by the moon, I once shared a connection to the Kami moon god, I can use a spell he once provided me. Like I said I can't affect the moon directly but shift it's location. Now Umbra are you prepared." an assured expression on his face said he was. "Now focus and try to change the this sudden blizard outside." once he begun she place her hands on the side of his head with her eyes closed, allowing time for her to concentrate, "Now this is something." Puzzler said as he blew a smoke off of his cigarrette. The blizzard outisde began to fade slowly, "When the sun falls, the moon shall rise, the light beckoned while the cold dies." as she spoke the incantation in her eastern language the sun than smothered into shadow like a solar eclisped, the full moon rose and appeared in the night sky.

She heard Alceus talk under his breathe or was it from his stray thoughts, "What's happened to Athena?". "The Old Ones probably gotten to her.." she said worringly, as the Ancient dieties probably took down most of the other pantheons as well. The corrupt force was too hard to miss out, it sent a signal reaction to all mystics and psychics. Those who could do something about it was hit the hardest, constantly feeling in pain. Magic was begining to lose itself. I must search..." her friend's thought continue to be filled with doubts and fear, falling towards the negative. His well being could affect the outcome of the spell, she had to try and aleviate his problem. "So she was kidnapped", he murmured, sorrow in his eyes. Cecilia coudn't bear it anymore. "Alceus please bear your burdens and thoughts, to save all we must need a clean aspect of a mind to ensure this ritual's success." trying to calm him the best way she can, "I don't want to invade your mind and take the memories away but please...." she ended their telepathic conversation. "He must have managed to get away from them. Either that or maybe he managed to beat them" he last said, finally he address his personal issues with the group, "Guys, my sister Athena has been kidnapped. I know because my helmet feeds me info on everything she learns but the link broke before I could learn anything else so I only learned up to the kidnapping point. Something's gotta be done".

"We'll deal with that as soon as possible but guys this celestial switch spell won't last long. Now we must commence with the spell. All five of us wiill have to form around in a circle and join hands." As the five walked and grouped into a circle they held hands, joining them all together making a connection. "Were going to need a presence of a god but the chances of that is higly slim. I lost my connections to them during the start of this maddenss, but you Alceus I can felt it since we met, you have the connections. Even though it's slipping and fading we can use what's left." he understood what he was required to do. "Repeat after me." she spoke, now was the time she would begin with the ritualise spell "By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek. By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek." the five chanted, chanting the spell over and over again. The earth rumbled and shake causing the dirt to to form a large pentagram undeaneath their feets. Each of them representing the fire corners of the pentagram's magic. A beam of pure moon light shot down on the pentagram, "It's working...." within a blinding flash of light the five bodies disappeared.

Soon the spell escalated those tapping to try to figure the situation was transported as well but scattered except for the five. "Where flucks am I this time?" Puzzler asked, taking a sniff in she felt it, the ambiet energies revolving around the center or axis of time itself, "Where in the axis of time itself.... look!" she pointed as she saw orbs containing countless worlds and realities being affected by this plague. In every world she saw herself fighting against the threat, like a pond filled with bubbles each bubble contain a realiy and with a person's eye they can view what they want to see. Cecilia then saw her counterpart die on another Earth. The instant feeback shot back to her, "Ahhhh!" she screamed, "Are you okay!" Umbra said, "I'm okay, this place has us connected to all different worlds of ourselves different analogues." she explained to them how she knew of this was from the ancient text found in a now destroyed grimoire that explained about time and space. "Lets form around this 'floating bubbles pond' and repeat after me." the five stretch out into the far corners of the time bubble's sacred ground. "By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek. By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek. By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek" the five once again began chanting the same incantation.

Soon foams formed within the center in which they surrounded and form one giant bubble globe. A young girl showed in the reflection, sleeping in stasis. "Who is that?" Alceus asked, "She looks like..." he turned to Cecilia as the others did as well, "It's you Charmix..." Umbra said in astonishment. "Well if it isn't too good to be true." a dark seductive voice creeped from a distance."You truly are an anomaly." the dark witch walked around as she touched a tree beside her, magical energies drifted from her body and produce visible radiance. "The tree of memories." she spoke as she remove her hands away from the tree, "This is the garden of time and space. And you my dear Cecilia are not who you think you are, you are an atrocity. You are but a replacement of true values, the false hope, false ambitions, but most of all false memories. The trees speaks the truth. And they say the real Charmix is her, the image cascading from the time bubble." she pointed as gloated at the revelation of who Cecilia really was. "No... I'm the real me.." she broke off with a sore throat that cracked her voice. "Are you know? Touch one of the many tree of memories and find out yourself, the truth hurts sweety." Selene suggested, scared and frighten the enchantress Cecilia did just that to find out who she really is.

Her shaky hands reached out and she touched a nearby glass tree. Her finger tips press against the bark and then the sudden knowledge she seek race through her mind, "Careful what you learn, some things cannot be comprehended." the Black Queen warned. Her eyes saw things and her mind filled up with the truth. "Ohh god!" she said catching her breathe. "She's right..." a tear formed and slithered down her cheeks. "The universal pluck me from my true home and warped everyone and my own mind to thinking I was the one... to fill in the missing pieces." she cried out in pain in such truth. "To end this all your blood shall be spilled and the slumber of the real Charmix will fix this." Selene assured her objective was correct but she was just talking out of her own inner desires to kill Cecilia and next the real Charmix.

Then a swirl above the magicans and players winds howling and reality bending, a large shadow-like figure rose down and appeared in the form of a bird revealing four other people with a dog. "Her trails leaves the stench of pure ambient magic." Selene rephrase herself with a devious grin, then the arrival of the Ancient One's children. The demons were sent to contain the threat that would lead to the failure of their parents. The final chapters were begining and so countless worlds and their magic were all fading.

As X-Factor left both Selene and Clara saw throuh Charmix's weary shields, the two hid behind trees and bushes. "Good riddance, that failed toy was nothing but an absolute idiot. The likes of him no 'it' to think his science can take what is not understand to a mere mortal toy." her voice was of it's own, Clara was bent on one objective to end the life of Charmix. Little did she know the forces of which assigned her to the task had taken control of her, only with one thing in mind, her goal. There was no point in talking to the red head but Selene found comfort in doing so, as long as their was an audience she would move her lips without a care in the world. But soon there won't be a world who would hear her vindictive alluring calls. Continueing to keep her eyes on the five people within the wards she witness the magic at work. Due to the inconsistent magic structure a sudden blizzard swoop down from around affecting those outside the barrier, Selene bared with the elements struggling to control it. Managing to manipulate it in a limited fashion she only force the blizzard from affecting herself and Clara.

"I suppose this will do." she said in content. Once again she focused on the group noticing the 'Celestial Trade' spell, "Interesting, she learns so well." her commentary was backed with fuel of hatred, igniting her passions for the death of the perfect witch. The sun traded with moon and there it was, the lunar energies empowered their crafts. The ritual continued, as before the wards around Charmix's estate withered away, allowing her time to hear the chants and connect with the five. "A powerful locator spell... this is what I've been waiting for." as the five chanted their spell the moon's energy pour down on them, "The fates of destiny, I call on thee, link me to them, bind us three!" the moment she finished both Clara and Selene, at that moment, was linked to Charmix. The spell allowed Selene to tap into Charmix's magic enough to bind the three. Their bodies joined as one like the three goddess of fate pulling the strings of a person's life. Soon after the lights faded the seven arrived in the axis of time. The magic splittered her from the group, good enough for the two guest to continue their spying.

She felt her magic returning to it's previous normal state. This place linked them to their alternate analogues, something Selene could maybe use to her advantage. Once again the five chanted the same spell that brought them to this very place. The axis of time, a place where time and knowledge is sacred and forbiddeen as well impossible to access, but due to the disturbance of magic Charmix took advantage of it. "Lets form around this 'floating bubbles pond' and repeat after me." Charmix spoke as the five about and formed a circle around the hude pond of desires. "By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek. By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek. By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek" the water rose up with the bubbles that were already in mid-air and formed a large sphere. The image showned was a sleeping girl, a resemblance striked the others, "It's you Charmix..." one of the enchantress's friend spoke. Of course it was her, it was all adding up, to find more Selene needed the knowldge she seek. "Well if it isn't too good to be true." Selene said as she made her grand entrance from the shadows along with her red head ally. She had to make herself known she would of been caught other-wise but it was needed to move closer to the Tree of Memories.

"You truly are an anomaly." the viper queen moved like that of a snake her hips bouncing from side to side. Placing her fingers on her destined tree she sunk in the knowldge it gave her, the one she wanted and needed. Her magic aura was visible to the normal eyes, "Yes" she thought. And they say the real Charmix is her, the image cascading from the time bubble." she pointed towards the image showing, but it came with a laugh, a devious laughter."No... I'm the real me.." Charmix said as her voice cracked, "Are you know? Touch one of the many tree of memories and find out yourself, the truth hurts sweety." the Black Queen suggested and so the enchantress did. "Careful what you learn, some things cannot be comprehended." she warned, sometimes a mind especially a mortal's mind couldn't bear what they learn, surely it would drive one insane.

"She's right..." a tear formed and slithered down her cheeks. "The universal pluck me from my true home and warped everyone and my own mind to thinking I was the one... to fill in the missing pieces." she cried, the truth was out. She was nothing but a pawn in the universe's game, she was nothing but a nessity for now but then when the universe was done with her she would be replace like many other's before her. "To end this all, your blood shall be spilled and the slumber of the real Charmix will fix this." of course she didn't know if this would work or not, but the manipulative witch had all of them right under her. Splitting the alliances between the players. Save a girl or save billions, either way Selene was going to take it all, the magicks. The skies above the mystic planes swirl in energy as a dark energy bird appeared with three others and a pet. Hymesi the ambient energy force of all magic in the flesh of a counterpart of Charmix. "More guests." she hissed as the demonic children of the Old Ones arrived. Her her left hand she gestured and pose her hand to mimick that of a gun, "First shot needs to be fire in order to start a war." she said in amusement, with that a stream of fire shot from her finger and went straight towards Umbra. The instant she did a shield was formed from his ally Charmix. In that moment all forces collided and the war brew within the axis of time.

It seemed as though every single person found Que's greeting to be quite rude and unfruitful to this unique encounter. Under different circumstances, a group of such diverse individuals probably would not have formed. They could all learn from each other, in fact, Alceus was hoping to learn more about the field of magic from his new comrades however, that would have to wait as his first priority was saving the universe from utter destruction. As expected by mighty Alceus, Charmix devised a plan. An interesting one at that, one that would employ the use of magic without the risk of it's current unstable and unpredictable nature. "Hmm interesting", Alceus thought, his natural curiosity briefly brimming in his eyes. Minutes past as Charmix began to murmur some sort of incantation while Umbra tapped into his weather-manipulating powers in order to aid the sorceress. And just as Charmix had claimed, the Sun was replaced by the full Moon in what appeared to be the night sky. "I've got to say, I'm impressed", The Champion murmured, still worried over the fate of his beloved sister Athena.

And just as he began to worry about Athena once again, his thoughts were read, his mind was intruded. Surprisingly it was by Charmix herself who pleaded that Alceus focus his attention on his current task rather than worry about Athena's eventual fate, reasoning that if they fail to save the universe from it's current dilemma, then everyone, including Athena will be doomed. Nodding his head as he calmed himself, valiant Alceus agreed, "Yeah of course. I'll focus", Alceus said, replying only with his thoughts as he had engaged in some sort of telepathic conversation with the teenage sorceress. "But it's really surprising how you managed to read my thoughts, especially with this helmet on", Alceus said, implying that Charmix's telepathic powers are much stronger than one would initially suspect. To be powerful enough to actually penetrate the Helmet of Wisdom which was designed for great resistance against telepathy... Charmix's mental powers must be truly monstrous. However, before they departed, Charmix assured Alceus that they will find Athena's captor and deal with him as soon as possible but only after what has to be done is done. "Alright. Thanks", the Son of Olympus replied, adopting a more serious and stoic persona, he was concerned for his sister's safety and this brought out the more serious side of Alceus that is very rarely seen. As told by Charmix, Alceus and the others came together to form a circle and joined hands. "We're going to need a presence of a god but the chances of that is highly slim. I lost my connections to them during the start of this madness, but you Alceus, I felt it since we met, you have the connections. Even though it's slipping and fading we can use what's left", Charmix said. They were sensible words with reasonable assumptions, Alceus agreed to the plan.

Asking for all five of them to repeat her chants, Charmix was about to bring forth something that would completely change Alceus' view on his fellow Olympians... well indirectly at least. "By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek. By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek", they all chanted in unison, sounding like one singular being with five different voices speaking simultaneously. Suddenly, in a heartbeat, the very ground began to quake violently as an enormous pentagram formed beneath their feet. And without warning, a beam of moonlight crashed down on the pentagram. So apparently this implied that the spell was working. In the blink of an eye, a white flash of light seemingly caused all five of them to vanish in thin air. As the light dimmed and vision returned to them all, it was no wonder to Alceus when he heard some of his comrades bluntly ask about their current location. "we're in the axis of time itself.... look!", Charmix exclaimed, pointing at mysterious orbs that held entire realities that were tainted by the universe's current situation. "So here we can see all the realities that exist in time? Well this sure is something. I've never been anywhere like this before, and that's saying something", Alceus commented. With no time to waste, all five of them were urged to surround a pond of water with mysterious floating bubbles and repeat the same incantation that brought them to this location. "By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek. By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek. By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek", they all chanted once again. And from the center of the odd pond emerged one colossal bubble.

Someone oddly familiar was seen in the reflection, in some level of unconsciousness. Curious Alceus couldn't help but ask for her identity, but he needed no answer, he recognized the female youth. It was Charmix, and Umbra realized it as well. Charmix saw deeper into the bubble while Alceus himself saw something entirely different. His inner desires, The Champion yearned for the truth regarding the Olympians. He always had suspicions of the information he was fed. He wanted to know the absolute truth as even powerful Zeus himself has once claimed that there are things about themselves that Alceus is too young to comprehend. This was simply the perfect opportunity to uncover this mystery that Zeus so strongly attempts to conceal from Alceus. And though his father's attempts were nearly flawless, one as intelligent and clever as Alceus cannot be so easily deceived. "Time to find out what my father has been trying to hide from me. What he says I'm too young to understand", Alceus smirked, as his eyes peered into the bubbles before him. "What the-", The Champion gasped, rubbing his eyes even. But this was no trick, he was seeing the truth. Before him he saw an Olympian but one that looked strikingly similar to him, but older and with white hair and similar to Zeus as well. "Vasilias, I am Vasilias, my boy. Your uncle and Zeus' brother", this Vasilias claimed. "I am the secret that your father so strongly wants you not to know. I was cast away from Olympus for the most arrogant of reasons. I was it's true leader, and I did not expect worship from mortals... unlike your father and the rest. They banished me after besting me in battle. They wanted worship and recognition and I did not. I was cast away forever", and before much else could be said, Vasilias vanished.

The Son of Olympus couldn't believe what he had just been told. If what he has just learned turns out to be the truth then he will have no other choice but to confront his own father. But this... this could lead to a division in the Olympian family. Oh how mighty Alceus wishes that Athena's power was fully replenished, this she simply had to know. But suddenly, Alceus' senses detected an enormous amount of energy emerging from virtually nowhere. "Where's that coming from?", he asked, snapping back to reality as he turned round to find that another sorceress, creatures of pure energy and the devious offspring of the Ancient Ones had arrived. "Damn it", he said just above a whisper, clenching his right fist in frustration. He had just learned too much and he was now being confronted by a multitude of enemies, oh well... he's a warrior and he was mentally trained to overcome these challenges. And just as Umbra nearly fell victim to an attack from the arriving sorceress, he was luckily saved by an attentive Charmix who had conjured a shield to protect her comrade. "Alright.. let's do this", Alceus said, determined as he balled up his fists. Suddenly, his muscles began to swell as his veins surfaced. His eyes were glowing a golden energy as his eyes became devoid of pupils and irises. Violent winds and whips of blue energy ravaged the air like some sort of supernatural hurricane. As his muscle mass increased and his size as well in order to remain proportional, Alceus' body began radiating an outward flailing aura of golden energy as his body surged with white arcs of lightning. His voice becoming mysterious two-toned with a deeper voice speaking in unison with his usual one. Now at full power, Alceus was ready to do battle, he was in control of a power that was almost peerless but it was hazardous, he has just enhanced his body with his gauntlet's energy, overuse of it will affect him in unpredictable ways, he was honestly taking a gamble at the moment.

As the final member’s of the grouped descended the newly form alliance of magic was ready but for what was the question "Your here because it was fate's action, now shut up and let us get to the bottom of this." The sarcasm dripped from each word, he didn’t have time to care nor he was too focused on the matter at hand but his question or statement earlier was right they would be able to use the moon for their benefit enhancing their own magical powers but unfortunately the moon wouldn’t be rising for hours or so he thought. "Back to what you were saying Umbra. Correct, I can with your help of using your weather abilities draw the connection to the moon. Summoning a temporal full moon down. It won't affect the time sequence but rather affect the time of area it's affecting. Were just doing a small switch, the eastern country will have the sun while we'll have the moon, only a limited time enough for the spell." He was curious his weather power’s were strong he had no doubt it but he didn’t know if he could stretch them that far Alecus seemed to be in the same mind frame inquiring how it could possibly done but again Charmix’s vast knowledge of sorcery proved invaluable to them she explained that through Michael’s own weather manipulating abilities and a spell provided by Charmix the two could temporally shift the moon and the sun’s position “Now Umbra are you prepared, Now focus and try to change the this sudden blizzard outside." He nodded indicating he was ready as she placed her hands on each side of his head he concentrated on the hostile environment surrounding their location it was a normal blizzard magic had affected it like it had the rest of the world, it was harder to control but soon enough through perseverance and talent Michael managed to the calm the raging elements that battered the magical shield protecting them what he didn’t expect was the sudden darkness, looking up into the sky the moon shone down upon them basking in the glow of the Michael felt comfort he was always a night person not much of a morning on though.

However this moment of bliss didn’t last long as a worried voice spoke out to the group "Guys, my sister Athena has been kidnapped. I know because my helmet feeds me info on everything she learns but the link broke before I could learn anything else so I only learned up to the kidnapping point. Something's gotta be done", one after another kept piling on to their save the world list, but Michael felt sympathy for him If he one sister had been kidnapped he’d have been furious beyond all reason Michael admired Alecus’ restraint and swore to himself to if need be help Alecus save his sister but time was running short rapidly.

At Charmix’s command the five individual’s formed a circle and with the help of Alecus’s connection to the Olympians’ they were able to use this connection for their spell. Under Charmix’s word the five began to chant "By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek. By the bolts of Zeus, we summon thee, take us to the one we seek." Slowly the ground beneath their feet cracked, lines sprawled outwards intertwining at certain points until a pentagram formed with each individual at a certain corner of the symbol, the moonlight shown down upon them increasing their collective power and the spell worked. In a blinding flash of light the five of them disappeared from the earth.

Cold hard stone pressed against his face as the shuffling of feet surrounded him the disorientating light soon faded into nothingness and solid shapes formed around him getting to his feet one of his new allies inquired to where the were but Michael didn’t pay a lot of attention to him, he was so engrossed in the place the energies that shifted and swirled around them were mesmerizing Michael could sense it no words could describe it “Were in the axis of time itself.... look!" following Charmix and the rest of the groups gaze the teenage sorcerer saw the countless floating orbs shimmer each containing different scenario’s Michael saw a few some that didn’t resemble him at all but one striking Image presented itself to him, looking deep into the orb it was himself his uniform was the same as now but there was something different about him something in his eyes they were perfect that’s it they were perfect again his soul was back. Almost with his face in the bubble he saw himself standing in the rubble of what must have been a recent battle and his soul dagger was there held in this version of him self’s right hand odd Michael was left handed but soon this didn’t matter it disappeared and not in it’s usual way but with a flash of light the dagger evaporated and a trail shot through the street, winding and swerving between overturned cars and broken buildings until it was absorbed into a body.

Michael knew who’s the body was it was Azrael she had been defeated and he’d gained his soul back Michael could have cried out of happiness but the vision didn’t end there. Slowly the version of Michael in the bubble walked over to Azrael’s unconscious body Michael assumed he’d take her to a medical faculty or lift her out of sight but instead it was much worse this version of him created a sword out of thin air and raising it above his head plunged into forwards into…………

The teenage sorcerer turned from the image he couldn’t watch it any longer. Michael hated Azrael he knew he did but to kill her no he never would be able to do that it wasn’t in him he was too peace loving but could he could his hated really drive him so far, god he hoped not because if that day ever came around he didn’t think he deserved to live any longer.

Michael’s attention was brought back to Charmix who screamed in pain “Are you okay?” he reached out getting ready to grab her incase she feel but she regained her balance "I'm okay, this place has us connected to all different worlds of ourselves different analogues” Charmix said *so that’s what that was just an alternate reality where Im a monster that can’t happen here but………* doubt once again plagued his mind about his future Michael was becoming distracted he needed to focus and as Charmix gave another order the group began to chant once again this time however one of the bubbles containing the alternate worlds rose up a portrayed another image to each of them, he couldn't believe it "She looks like…..It's you Charmix..." looking towards her he was so confused how could she have been the source of the problem she was helping them fix this chaos.

From the darkness behind the group a woman appeared and spoke to them what he was hearing was impossible “This is the garden of time and space. And you my dear Cecilia are not who you think you are, you are an atrocity. You are but a replacement of true values, the false hope, false ambitions, but most of all false memories. The trees speaks the truth. And they say the real Charmix is her, the image cascading from the time bubble." Charmix or who he thought was the real Charmix was clearly as shocked as the rest of the group reaching out towards this tree she recoiled as she touched it only for a moment "She's right the universe plucked me from my true home and warped everyone and my own mind to think I was the one... to fill in the missing pieces." Michael couldn’t believed it he wouldn’t and when the other woman threatened Charmix this was the last straw whether she was the real Charmix or not Michael wasn’t letting anyone hurt her she had fought beside him and that was all he needed to know to trust her.

Above him the sky rippled and multiple people arrived landing in the axis of time and without warning a blast of fire shot from the darker woman’s hand Michael pulled out his spell book ready to deflect the spell but he didn’t need to Charmix had erected a shield to protect him however the force of the blast had shaken him a little and the book fell out of his hands, as it fell out of the shield it was incinerated by the blast of fire the protective enchantments’ clearly were not strong enough and the book was lost to him mentally cursing the woman. A golden beacon shone behind him and charged forwards Alecus had encaged in battle with one of the being’s and around him the other members of his group all attacked and war had erupted in the axis of time, One that would decide the very fate of magic.

Michael didn’t have time to read the book fully only pieces here and there and he couldn’t remember any of the spells he’d read concentrating he remember something Charmix had done in their first encounter she had spoken her spells backwards and inspiration struck him “dleihs....tcetorp...em” his voice echoed through the axis of time and a rouge spell rebounded off of his invisible shield it had worked he’d done it. Rushing to Charmix’s side he stood back to back with her as his new found spell casting ability rebounded blast after blast “Charmix whether you’re the real you or not doesn’t matter, you’re here now and there’s a battle going on if you want to live then stand and fight, finish this!!” those were brave words and only time would tell if he’d be able to live up to them as the forces of good and evil clashed in this most precious plane of existence.

X appeared on the edge of the protective magical barrier that surrounded Charmix’s ancient home. He casually walked inside and made his way towards the mansion, easily passing through the barrier and to the land beyond. The swamp was teeming with life as he made his way stealthily through the trees in order to locate the young sorceress and her comrades. He stopped a few yards away as two more people joined the trio. “This is going to be a problem,” he thought as he watched them introduce each other, “but I can’t change my plans now.” He watched as they five beings began to perform a kind of ritual that brought about a blizzard the Florida Everglades had never seen before. The machine shielded his eyes so he could continue to watch his prey. In the corner of his eye, he could see a sort of barricade from the snow from a barrier that didn’t really exist. When the snow cleared, he could see Selene and Clara sneaking up to the group of magicians, preparing to do something against the large group. “That’s right, attack them like I know you want. While they’re handing you the royal beat down you so richly deserve, I’ll take Charmix and commence with my plan.” What he saw next was something that he really hadn’t expected.

The four magicians and godling continued to chant, then they and the two women disappeared in a blinding flash of light. X leapt from his tree and ran to the smoking patch of Earth where the pentagram had formerly been. He knelt on the ground began examining the energy trail in an attempt to track them, but he could find nothing strong enough for him to piggyback on. The machine cursed as he brought his fists down and cracked the burnt patch of Earth. He picked himself off the ground and opened a boom tube back to his lab.

When he arrived, he began pacing for a few minutes before stopping in front of one of his monitors and punching its screen in. Athena was sitting up from her makeshift bed on the lab table and looked at him. “Sounds like things didn’t go exactly as planned,” she said in a mocking tone as he looked over to her. “They teleported somewhere using the lunar energies and I can’t F&$#*@^ TRACK THEM!” he yelled back and he began heaving in anger for a few seconds. When he saw her helm lying right beside the makeshift bed, a sudden burst of inspiration overcame him. Moving quickly, he grabbed the helm and brought it over to the portal generator and began placing small sensors all over it. “What are you doing now?” she asked as he attached the wires from the censors into the portal generator computer and began typing furiously into it. “Your helm is linked to your brother’s, which is how you are able to give him knowledge whenever he needs it. I can use this link to locate him wherever he is and open a portal there.” He finished typing the last of the calculations into the console and watched as the machine and helm began to light up. A small worm hole the size of a bowling ball began to open up as the machine attempted to make a portal to where the magicians were located when the machine shut down and the helm quit glowing. X looked at the generator with a glare before typing on the keyboard again. “Where ever they are, my portal generator isn’t strong enough to punch a hole through it.” He began pondering how to overcome this when another idea came to him. Several wires shot out of his chest as he activated the portal generator again. When the portal opened again, his eyes seemed to glow with intense energy as he began pouring the power of his internal battery into the machine. From behind a metal cabinet, a secret door opened and another X-Factor walked out. This caught Athena by surprise as the he walked over and watched the portal grow bigger and bigger. “It’s a spare, one of many,” he said to Athena as he continued to watch the portal grow. The portal grew to the size of a man hole cover when it began to shrink. He didn’t wait for it to shrink very much before leaping through the hole, which disappeared completely as he disappeared within it.

X leapt through the air in right in front of Alceus and landed in the middle of the group. He was preparing to perform a front flip with a twist so he could slow himself down to a stop and look cool doing it. Unfortunately, the ground they were on was wet and slippery and as soon as his hands touched the ground, they slid out from under him. “Oh Cr@&!” he said as he spun through the air before hitting the tree of knowledge and falling to the ground. That briefest of touches from the tree filled his mind with knowledge of what had happened since the group of mortals had arrived and the shocking revelation about Charmix. “So there is more than one of her, huh? That means I only need one of her to enact my plan.” The machine began to pick himself off the ground, grabbing onto the tree to help him. More information came rushing into his head, some about himself, some random facts that no one cared about, and one tidbit that could prove vital to the salvation of everything.

X got on his feet and rushed over to Charmix. When he standing right in front of her, he knelt down on his knees and gently picked her head up so that she would look at him. “Umbra is right, it doesn’t matter that you’re a copy of the original or not. You may not believe this, but I’m not an original either.” He moved his hand away from her chin and held it palm up in front of her. The little bulb in the center lit up and a teenager and his dad appeared as a hologram in front of her. He was average in height, build, and his brown hair was of medium length. The part that made him stand out was the brown/green eyes that were full of life. “The kid you see before you was my original copy. His father wanted a way to allow his son to live a long and happy life without the disease that was ravaging his body. Using a government project as an excuse, he made a high tech duplicate of his son’s body and used a strange device to make a copy of his mind to make the thing standing before you now.” He closed his hand and looked into her eyes with the same brown/green eyes. “When I learned I was a copy, I had a hard time accepting it too. But I eventually learned something that helped me get over it, and if you bother to learn anything from this whole experience, let this be it.” X-Factor struggled to find the right words, but then thought of an analogy. “The original is like the trunk of a tree, it is the base from which all the branches are made, but each branch is unique and goes about in its own way.” He then began rubbing the back of his neck because he knew he was getting very sappy and looking very stupid. “What I’m trying to get at is you should feel relieved about being a copy, because it shows just how unique you really are.

He then began feeling even dumber than before and coughed a little in order to ease the increasing awkwardness. “I know how to fix everything, but you are the only one capable of pulling it off.” With that said, the robot drew a small dagger from his belt and made a very shallow cut along Cecilia’s cheek. The cut and the blade   began to show blood as he threw the dagger just above the large sphere showing the original Charmix. The dagger stuck into the stone archway above her and the little drop of blood traveled down the blade and onto the bubble. The bubble then turned the same shade of red, as did every other sphere with a living Charmix. A small stream poured from each of them and out of each stream popped a different Charmix. As their numbers increased, X turned to face the Cecilia he knew and said to her. “You and the other yous must combine your powers to use the axis time to travel back to when the rift was first created. If you manage to seal it there, then it won’t grow to become as powerful as it has now. We’ll buy you as much time as we can, but you have to hurry.” With that, he ran past her towards the three demons and Moonglow. With two swords jutting out from his wrists, X stood between the four creatures and the growing army of magicians and carved a line in the floor with his blades. “None of you will be able to cross this line,” he said as the blades retracted and he whipped out two hand guns from his back.

The arrivial of others came, former Vine Titans along with both the dreaded magic force and demonic swarms. Hailing down from the skies the war commence. The first to shoot and break the silence was the devious Venom Queen: Gloomix. A stream of heated flame went straight towards the novice witch Umbra, using the already available water from the pond, she barely was able to manipulate it but enough to allow her to form a shield to protect her ally from the flaming assault. But the impact of Gloomix's flames enforced by the fluiating magic enhance them, causing her to fall to the floor. The aquatic shield lost it's hold as Cecilia lost concentration resulting them in causing a splash as they hit the ground. The Champion rose from his feets after witnessing something that he was allowed to see, like a morning glory he charged into battle with brillance erupting from his body. Cecilia couldn't believe herself to come, her whole lie was a lie, somewhere lied her real home, her universe, a place she was meant to be all along. The other Charmixs' along with Umbra rushed to her aid. Feeling the strong determination within Umbra, she along with her analogues implanted a mental programming within his brain. Grafting him the gifts to effectively wield the same ancestral spell casting talent Stella Hamasaki was capable of: Logomancy magic better known as backwards magic. The name of the magic differed from those who knew of it, but the effects were the same.

“Charmix whether you’re the real you or not doesn’t matter, you’re here now and there’s a battle going on if you want to live then stand and fight, finish this!!” the newly empowered Umbra said as he stood back to back with Cecilia. She was still knee to the ground, unable to face what was around her. "I'm scared Michael I wanna go home, I'm sick." the witch lost her sanity and was drifting away towards the insane, she hand brushed her long locks of hair, while her mascara and eye liner melted from her eyes and came streaming down her cheeks. "We don't have to fight, we can live together peacefully all as one." Cecilia was lost the other incarnation of her were all weakened due to her condition, them being all linked as one made it hard for all of them to focus better yet use their power. If one were needed to perform a spell they were all forced to comply, uniting in a single thought. Cursed like a coven they were.

Then a manchine that looked successfully like a real man approached her and gently lifted her off her knees and held her by the face, “Umbra is right, it doesn’t matter that you’re a copy of the original or not. You may not believe this, but I’m not an original either.” he said. "Will I see mommy again?" she said hystically, still insane but X worked around it and use it to his descretion. “The kid you see before you was my original copy. His father wanted a way to allow his son to live a long and happy life without the disease that was ravaging his body. Using a government project as an excuse, he made a high tech duplicate of his son’s body and used a strange device to make a copy of his mind to make the thing standing before you now.” X finish as he showed a holographic projection detailing his life and his purpose for being created, “When I learned I was a copy, I had a hard time accepting it too. But I eventually learned something that helped me get over it, and if you bother to learn anything from this whole experience, let this be it.”. Cecilia was lost in her own world to listen to him but he continued on “The original is like the trunk of a tree, it is the base from which all the branches are made, but each branch is unique and goes about in its own way.” rubbing the back of his neck she stared at him, her eyes still watery with tears, the other Charmixs' were on a struggle, constantly grunting in pain while Umbra tried his best to protect them all.

“What I’m trying to get at is you should feel relieved about being a copy, because it shows just how unique you really are. I know how to fix everything, but you are the only one capable of pulling it off." X finished, Cecilia in her own world/mind believed him to god, one who can bring her to her lost mom. A shallow cut slice her fair soft cheeks, then the blade were drawn nect to the large bubble containing the real Charmix, her image was like a sacred portrait, sleeping undisturbed as her beauty reflected and shown down on other's viewing it. The dagger struck a stone archway above the globe image, Cecilia's blood contaminated the sacred pond as it reached towards the bubble. As the bubble was completely red matching the water, it popped. Thus dragging the real Charmix body from the corner of time and space horizon along with many other counterparts. All their bodies fell and slipped into the pond and swam straight out of the water except the original, who laid there lifeless in her suspended animation. “You and the other yous must combine your powers to use the axis time to travel back to when the rift was first created. If you manage to seal it there, then it won’t grow to become as powerful as it has now. We’ll buy you as much time as we can, but you have to hurry.”.

"Yes god, for mommy's sake." she said with the spell that was given to her by the god. All Charmixs' joined together surrounding the pond where the true orginal Charmix was held floating in the middle. "Hear us mother of flames, your life is now in fright, by giving you enternal life, we give you the sparks of fire, for which you must ignite." the chants were on, each and every female holding the name of Charmix within their title spoke the spell multiple time. Their own life and magical energies drifted away from them, a light of from their chest shot and connected to the life Charmix within the lake, calling her to wake and be restore. "Ughh arhhh." they all choked and scream, slowly they were dying, aging extremely fast, once the spell was said there was no going back to stop it. All their bodies minus the one in the pond floated in mid-air, the other's looked in horror as the ritual was killing them all, every Charmix was on the verge of dying. X made sure to prevent any action that would disrupt the ritual, once it was down all their bodies drop to the ground. All died from the process minus Cecilia who manage to retain consciousness. The spell effectively neutralized Moonglow, her body dropped from the air to the ground, barely alive like Cecilia.

Cellphone Girl and other Titans rushed towards her aid. The outcome of the ritualized spell caused the forbidden pond's water to rise up. The pressue of such was something physics couldn't explain more water being released then what was available. As the water stop and descended down, the rushing liquid flooded the grass and dampened it. Steam and mist blurred everyone's vision, soon the mist cleared out and there burning in flames was Charmix, Mary Kinomoto, wearing a white long free flowing dress. Standing admist the chaos, her magical energies attracting the demonic creature and others. She was finally back, walking on top of the water, the flames around her dissipated. Her bare feet touched the wet grass and there she rose up in the air, warping the surrounding back to the time where the fissure was first created, allowing others to witness how the fissure was first created. To ensure that this event didn't result to the one she came out of, she killed the cyber thief before she replicated her powers and travelled back even further stripping her younger self of her probabilities gifts. Her head began to pound, magic was coming to collects it's prize, the price for using such magic. "Nooo!" screaming out in pain, the place began to distort and bend, everyone was then taken back to the nexus of time, the garden of time and memories. Her body fell to the ground but the Champion was there to save her fall again. "What wrong?" he said, knowing full well the kind of price was to be taken for performing such a massive grand scale magic, "I didn't save time instead I made it worse. I changed it allowing another new possbility to open and us being stuck with the same situation as well." finishing off, her blood leaked from her eyes showing what she was suffering from.

He let her down from his arm, and she struggle to stand but kept her ground. Soon the force known as Hymesi resurrected itself from Moonglow, leaving her host and appeared in the flesh. Pure incarnated magic, rippling as magic left her embodied figure complicated. "Give me what is mine!" the force said as she flung her body straight towards Charmix. Her body fell back as she directed the others, "Don't let her get to me, she's vulnerable now, the unstable magic has left her like any other physical being." true but she was much more durable and stronger than other magical creature taking her down would prove the real test to this battle. Gloomix layed low as she saw what was happening, with Hymesi distraught psyche she destroyed all trees of knowldge except for one. Touching it, Gloomix drained it all withering it away, she knew how to end this and get what she wanted. With the plot in mind she waited until it was the perfect time to use her new information and tactic. At the end of this she will get what she wanted and kill Charmix once and for all. "Weakened her! Just enough so I can use a spell to finish this once and for all!" Gloomix said from a distance, falsly aligning herself with the heroes. Non believe her but with little hope they had, they had no choice but too. "If you do anything out of line. I'll kill you!" Charmix said, making sure Gloomix knew the cost of betrayal. She then walked over to the dying Cecilia, "I'm you and your me.... so beautiful.." Mary wipped the tears out of Cecilia's eyes, "I'm here, I'm here." she replied craddling her dead body. Mary could feel the energies Cecilia was giving her, when she was done she died. Covering her eyes so she could meet a peaceful death, Mary gently place her head down and began to strike at Hymesi along with the others.

"YOU TOOK ME AWAY FROM MY KIDS, MY LOVED ONES, AND MY FRIENDS! YOU MONSTER!" Moonglow said, supporting herself on Hotaru's neck. She was then to participate in the final battle to determine if the world was allow to exist or not.

Deep in the heat of an epic and awesome battle, glowing Alceus traded blows with some of the universe's fiercest creatures. His blows were fast like light rays but they struck like crashing asteroids. The amount of power that mighty Alceus was abusing was incredible. He knew the risks of using too much of his gauntlets' energy, the end results are unpredictable, they could turn out to affect him positively... or they can even kill him. He was willing to take this gamble for the sake of the universe. If he died, it wouldn't make much of a difference, as long as the physical universe is saved. "I can see why some of the Olympians had trouble with these guys in the past", Alceus murmured, blocking an energy blast from a demon with his unbreakable gauntlets. And just as he was about to retaliate with a sledgehammer of a punch, he was blasted from behind, sending him flying forward at insane speeds. "Damn it", managing to re-position himself in the air, The Champion turned round to face his attackers and shot an explosive energy ball at a horde of powerful demons. Once it was within a few inches from the demons, the energy ball exploded in a radiant fashion, vaporizing a portion of the horde as Alceus landed on his feet.

Panting somewhat, Alceus became increasingly aware of how much energy he was using. However, he was not physically exhausted, no his god-like physique would not allow for such a thing, but the effects of the energy he was relying on were beginning to affect him. They were straining his body. Mere minutes after having eradicated a horde of demons, yet another group of them approached, this time surrounded Alceus in a circle. Looking around with calm eyes, the Son of Olympus smirked, "I don't usually get pushed to use this much power, but it seems like I have no choice", Alceus uttered as he channeled the remarkable strength in his arms and performed a powerful thunderclap that knocked every single one of his opponents unconscious with a devastating shock-wave, even creating a deep crater beneath his feet. His teammates had no choice but to engage in battle as well, but they weren't as hungry for combat as Alceus was. Despite his immersion in physical combat, The Champion did not forget about what he saw today. There wasn't a doubt in his mind that he would confront his father, Zeus with the knowledge that he has recently learned. In fact, it was not only Zeus whom he wished to reveal what he had learned, but Athena as well. Their father had been hiding an important secret from them since their birth, it leaves Alceus questioning what else Zeus has kept hidden from him and the realization that his father might not fully trust him. This would no doubt bring some strain to the relationship between father and son and perhaps lead to something even worse than a simple trust issues.

Suddenly, The Champion stopped in his tracks. He was sensing something. "Something's coming", he could detect a small amount of extra-dimensional energy being generated. Leaping a few meters away from the source, Alceus witnessed a dimensional portal open before his eyes and who emerged from it shocked him. As he landed gently on the ground, Alceus couldn't believe his eyes. "You're the one who kidnapped Athena", Alceus said, visibly serious as the robot leaped right in front of him. "Doesn't matter. If something happens to her, you'll pay anyway. Right now, there's a universe that needs saving", Alceus said, shooting an enormous white lightning bolt at approaching demons. The odd robot was quick to approach Charmix and began speaking to her as the sorceress was visibly distraught. In the meantime however, Alceus fought valiantly against the enemy forces. After a conversation with Charmix, the robot halted his verbal assistance as Charmix began a magical ritual that would seemingly repair the damage done to the universe. Soon more allies arrived, but Alceus noticed something odd about the ritual. It was generating quite a large amount of unstable magical energy. "What is she trying to do?", Alceus wondered as Charmix and her numerous counterparts continued their ritual. "Has she forgotten about the consequences of using magic right now?", and just as he mentioned consequences, he felt a stinging sensation invade his body. And soon it developed into an unbearable burning sensation, forcing him out of his energy-enhanced state that his gauntlets allowed him to take. Dropping to his knees, Alceus panted. "No... not now. This can't happen now", he murmured. His needed his full power to do battle with the demonic forces attacking them. There was no time for what was happening.

But he had different priorities as he witnessed Charmix and her counterparts age drastically. Getting to his feet, he worried for his comrade. "Charmix!", he shouted as all of the sorceresses' bodies dropped lifelessly. Luckily though, Charmix was still alive. It was miraculous really. "Good.. her energy-signature's still present. She's alive", Alceus said just above a whisper, smiling. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, the mysterious pond's water rose and flooded the grassy field. Soon thick clouds of mist and steam limited visibility, even for The Champion's god-like eyes. He could hardly see but he wasn't as blind as the rest, his energy-senses enabled him to see the energy-signatures of others, he was essentially seeing energy-versions of everyone else. It was really quite helpful in times like this. But as quickly as it came, the mist vanished and with radiant flames all about her, Charmix emerged but she was attracting attention from the demonic creatures that were plaguing them. As the magical flames disappeared, Charmix used her powers, altering the environment, forcing it back to a time before the fissure was created, so that the others were fortunate enough to witness the fissure's creation. With her powers, Charmix accomplished even more however, as expected, her actions did not come without a consequence. The teenage sorceress voiced her agony with a scream as the environment reverted to it's previous appearance. Charmix dropped and fell to the ground but Alceus managed to catch her. "What's wrong?", he asked, concerned for Charmix's well-being. Charmix's answer revealed a detail that could shatter a hero's sense of hope. Her efforts had done nothing but worsen time's condition. Was it becoming a sad dark truth that the universe was hopelessly doomed? Perhaps, but as heroes, they had to find a way to prevent this.

Releasing his hold on Charmix, Alceus watched as the sorceress could barely stand. But his attention was soon attracted by another as some sort of mysterious force emerged from a body in the form of human flesh. But despite it's human appearance, this odd force or entity was generating an immense amount of magical energy. The energy was invisible but it could be felt. The fiendish force shouted at Charmix to return what is rightly her's and almost instantly lunged towards the teenage sorceress. Possibly in fear, Charmix lost her balance and fell backwards, but she pleaded for her comrades not to allow the entity to get near her as they could attack it due to it's temporary physicality thanks to the unstable nature of magic at the moment. "I won't let it get near you", Alceus assured, briefly smiling at Charmix before turning to face the magical entity. Standing right in front of Charmix, acting as a shield, Alceus was shocked when the entity destroyed all trees of knowledge but one. One sorceress who calls herself Gloomix remained hidden from the entity while absorbing knowledge from the very last tree of knowledge. "Charmix's energy is fading away.. she's dying", he realized, taking one look at her. Gloomix was quick to ask for the heroes' assistance so that she may use a spell in order to defeat the entity. It was difficult to believe such a claim from Gloomix. "With magic this unstable, won't you just be doing us more harm than good by attempting to cast a spell?", Alceus said, voicing his opinion, but it's not like they had much of an alternative. "But it's not like we have much of a choice", he sighed. Aware of the possible sinister intentions Gloomix might have, Charmix threatened to have her killed if she does anything out of line.

Still standing in front of Charmix, acting as her shield, Alceus turned round as Gloomix approached the sorceress while he kept his energy-senses focused on the entity. Gloomix said a few words to a dying Charmix and gently wiped the tears from the teenager's eyes. In a matter of seconds, Charmix died but her energies were transferred into Gloomix who attacked the entity along with the other heroes. "Charmix... at least your death wasn't in complete vain. Perhaps the original Charmix can now survive", Alceus thought, he was saddened at the death of the sorceress. True they had just met but the death of a friend is never welcomed no matter how brief the friendship. Looking away from Charmix's body and focusing his angered eyes on the entity, The Champion blasted off the ground and flew straight at the magical entity at speeds nearing that of light. A few inches away from the entity, Alceus pulled his fist back, preparing to deliver an uppercut of such immense strength that even moons would cower before his physical might. He could not let Charmix's death be in vain, it was time to finally unleash his true strength, not his gauntlets' power, but the power that Alceus possesses himself, one that he is usually too cautious to use around others, but with an opponent this powerful, he needs not worry.

X-Factor grinned as Charmix created the reality destroying paradox, then began to laugh maniacally. Everyone looked at him as he stopped fighting the demons and walked over to Alceus. Another portal opened in front of the godling, this one bigger than the one the robot had come through earlier. Vasilias moved between X and the portal, as though he already knew what was happening. “STOP! YOU DON…” began the banished god before the droid backhanded him out of the way. X’s arms disappeared within the void for a few moments before he pulled out the device he had built not too long ago, with Athena trying to pull it back through the portal. “Now it’s time to execute my plan,” he said as he yanked the machine from Pallas’ hands, laughing as he did. The large metal cube lit up as it touched the floor before firing a massive energy beam at Hymesi, pulling her from the godling’s strike. The light engulfed her and she began to scream as the device began pulling her towards it. Selene and the other began to converge on her, but X was already ahead of them. The droid soared through the air and fired two separate beams from his hands, which created a wall of fire to keep everyone from the essence of magic and the device. “I won’t let some worn out magic rejects get in my way!” he yelled to the crowd as Hymesi was pulled into the machine.

X burst into laughter again as several small metal cables shot out of the machine an plugged themselves into him. The magical powers of Hymesi began to surge through his body as a white light began to pour from his eyes. The light grew brighter and brighter until a final burst of light blinded everyone. When it had dimmed, X was floating down from the air. His body was surrounded in a bright, shining gold armor while his eyes were hidden by a bright white light. The cloak on his back was pure white and it fluttered through the air as his power emanated from his body. “Beware, young sorcerers and witches, for none of you can stand against me now.” X-Factor turned his attention to the metal box connected to his body and waved a glowing hand over it. The device shrunk to the size of a Rubix cube and flew into his hand in a blur. His chest plate opened up and swallowed the box within the mess of circuitry and machinery. When it closed, he began to approach the large orb in the middle of the room, and a voice began to invade his thoughts. It was quiet at first, but it began to grow louder and louder with every step, telling him to kill Charmix. And X agreed with it.

Now I can change reality to the way it should be, and with my own mechanical abilities providing a stable base for the magic within me, I can set everything right.” With that, he began to wave his left hand in a counter-clockwise motion as images of what had just happened began to rewind. When he reached the point where the present Mary attempted to kill the cyber thief, and froze the image in place. X reached into the sphere and pulled Charmix out from that moment in time, and looked at her with a look of disappointment. “You attacked the wrong person.” With that he performed an open palm blow that sent her flying across the room towards the other. “You are the cause of the paradox and the tear in time. If you die, then everything goes back to the way it belongs.” Even though his pupils couldn’t be seen, there was a crazed look about him that revealed the magic was affecting more than his body. Selene was making her way towards him, muttering under her breath an incantation to subdue Hymesi. As she was about to complete the incantation, the mechanical magician vanished into thin air and reappeared directly behind her. Calmly and quietly, X brought his face so that only she could hear him and whispered into her ear, “There is something I’ve always wanted to say to you, my queen.” The fingers began to change until they had become golden metal claws directed right at her back. With a quick flash, he dug his claws into her flesh, the points of his claws poking out from her stomach. He slowly lifted her off the ground as blood began to pour out from her mouth as she struggled to stay alive. “DIE LIKE THE LITTLE WRETCH YOU TRULY ARE!” he yelled as a black energy began to travel up his arm from her body. Selena let out a bloodcurdling cry of agony as her body began to shrivel up while he continued to drain her essence. When he had finished, her body looked like a mummified body, which fell to pieces as he dropped it to the floor. X brought his bloody hand up to his face and licked the blood on his index finger before turning to face the others. “Who else wants to volunteer to feed me? You all will fuel me, but it’s so much easier to have volunteers. No? Well then, I guess it’s up to me.

With that, he vanished again and reappeared in the middle of everyone, and gave everyone a wicked smile. “I’ll come back for the rest of you later, but I want to have a little fun with my next meal.” With that, he grabbed Mary and the two of the disappeared from the nexus.

X-Factor and Charmix were standing in the middle of a city where everything and everyone was frozen in place. He willingly let her go and began to walk around with a wicked smile on his face. “It’s just you and me now Mary. No friends to help you, no runes to protect you, just your skill, wits, and power. I’ll give you a two minute head start, so you can run, attack me, or whatever else you want to try. Just keep these three facts in mind. First, I am 2 or 3 times more powerful than you. Second, I know almost every spell, hex, incantation, and ritual that’s ever been performed, and I don’t have to utter a single syllable to use them or counteract them. Third and lastly, I am the smartest computer in the world, so by the time you come up with an idea, I’ll have numerous strategies to beat it and drain you. So you’d better hurry along, cause I’ve got a deadline to meet.

Just as he was about to demolish his enemy with ruthlessness thought to be possessed only by Ares, Hymesi was moved from his path of destruction. "Huh?", he thought, utterly shocked as he re-positioned himself in the air, strongly landing on his feet, sliding back a few feet with a confused facial expression. "What the hell?!", he exclaimed, visibly angered at the one responsible for saving Hymesi from his attack. It was the mysterious robotic being that had arrived, seemingly to help but apparently had a more fiendish agenda. Athena's kidnapper. Not only had kidnapping his favorite sibling make Alceus have a hostile opinion of X-Factor, but now this that he had just done, it was making his blood boil. It soon became evident what the machine's plan was. How he did not see through it was beyond him, but there was no time for examining the steps that X had taken, it was time to act. "I can't take this guy like this though", Alceus soon realized as he observed X absorb a great deal of Hymesi's power then make short work of Selene. He had now given mighty Alceus all reason to tear him limb from limb.

Tightly balling up his fist in anger, Alceus knew that in his current state he didn't stand much of a chance against X-Factor. The robot's mechanical capabilities coupled with the raw magical energy he had just absorbed would prove too much for a currently power-depleted Alceus. "Damn it... if only my gauntlets didn't have any casualties. But even then I think I'd need help against that guy", The Champion thought. But soon, he smirked, despite the situation, he was beginning to get the urge to engage X-Factor in battle. It was in his very nature to want to fight the most powerful beings in his vicinity. "I'm gonna enjoy tearing your head off when I get my hands on you", Alceus said, looking X-Factor in the eye despite their distance. He had no fear of the robot, in fact, he feared nothing, he had nothing holding him back from engaging this new enemy in battle. But of course, X-Factor left no room for resistance, he didn't hesitate to boast about his newly acquired power. And it was just then that Alceus remembered that there was indeed still hope. "I'll volunteer soon", he smirked. X-Factor had been with Athena recently and he simply stunk of her energy-signature. Little did he know that he was basically allowing Alceus to locate his sister, and that would grant a large advantage to the heroes. "Found you!" he thought, successfully locating Athena. And just then, X-Factor escaped the realm with Charmix. However, fortunately, just before X-Factor had left with Charmix, an energy trail from the magical energy he had absorbed was left. While it was invisible to most, one who is adept at detecting energy of all kinds would find the energy trail, utterly visible.

Pulling out the Green Power Ring that he had acquired during his latest mission with the Trinity, the Son of Olympus used the ring to read the X-Factor's leftover energy trail, he would be able to locate it even after an hour simply due to the massive amount of energy in his current possession. "Good", Alceus murmured as his ring had scanned the robot's massive energy-signature. Turning round to face the distraught group of heroes, The Champion addressed them, "I'll be right back. I promise. And when I'm back, we'll find Charmix. I know how to", he said. And in an instant, he used his Green Power Ring to teleport to Athena's location. Appearing before his sister from an emerald dimensional rift, Alceus quickly grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into the rift with him. While travelling through dimensions, heading towards to no doubt Olympus, Alceus gladly reunited with his sister. "Athena, I'm so glad to see you. But there's no time to waste. That thing you were with played us all for fools. He absorbed the power from this magical entity and in my condition I don't stand a chance. But going to Olympus, there's some things that can help us turn the tide", he said, hugging his weakened sister. "I am glad to see you as well. I wish could do something to assist you though", she responded, accepting her brother's warm embrace. "Don't worry. There is", he smirked as the duo arrived in the godly realm of Olympus. At that very moment, The Champion was hoping not to encounter his father, Zeus, he doesn't know if he would be able to contain his anger if the two met right now.

Taking Athena to her quarters in the Olympian dimension, Alceus quickly asked for her indestructible spear. "Give me your spear Athena. I need it for this", Alceus demanded. "Of course", Athena replied, lying down on her soft bed, pointing at her dresser with her index finger. "It's under my dresser", she revealed. Quickly grabbing his sister's spear, Alceus thanked her with a kiss on the forehead, "I'll return it to you, don't worry", he smiled, before leaving, searching for Hercules this time. "Looks like my father, Poseidon, and Hades are all away fighting the demons", he realized, not being able to sense their energy-signature. Finally, finding his brother, Alceus requested that Hercules lend him his Nemean Lion Skin and Adamantine Mace. "Hercules, I need your mace and lion skin now. It's very important. The fate of the universe is at stake", Alceus said, sounding desperate. "Haha of course! Anything for you brother!", Hercules chuckled, removing his lion skin and giving Alceus his mace, "Do return them", Hercules pleaded. Nodding his head, Alceus ran towards the flame of Olympus where he was almost instantly healed and his energies were replenished by the divine flame. There was not much else he could collect but he did his best. Opening a dimensional portal back to his comrades' location, Alceus returned to the nexus with an array of powerful items and his energies replenished. Looking at Umbra, he tossed over the Nemean Lion Skin and Athena's spear towards the young sorcerer. Unfortunately he couldn't bring anything else for the others, the items he could bring were limited as Olympus' most powerful beings were away with their respective artifacts and weapons.

"We're going after X and Charmix. I can follow them to their location. Umbra, put on the Nemean Lion Skin. It will protect you from harm. It's almost impenetrable. And use grab that spear. It's Athena's. Aside from being sharp enough to pierce nearly anything and hard enough to be unbreakable, it'll amplify your weather-related abilities. My father granted Athena access to his thunderbolts and weather powers through that spear. You can use it to manipulate Zeus' weather powers too or make your's stronger. Unfortunately I couldn't bring anything for the rest of you", he apologized, grabbing Hercules' mace. With his energies replenished, Alceus was quick to enhance his body with the gauntlet's power once again, causing an outward flailing aura of golden energy to radiate around him. Soon white electrical arcs surged all about his body, his muscular mass increased in proportion to his height and his eyes glowed as he was returned to his maximum level of power. But with an enemy as powerful as X, The Champion had no choice but to put on his Green Power Ring as well. The moment he embraced the ring's power, Alceus' helmet turned silver along with his belt and chest-piece, while his leg armor glowed emerald along with his eyes, the symbol on his helmet and his gauntlets, finally the rest of his armor turned jet black as a glowing emerald rim surrounded him, right before his outward flailing golden aura.

The Champion's power had increased exponentially, he'd never felt this powerful before. Grabbing Hercules' indestructible mace as it too was empowered by the Green Power Ring's energy, turning it into a silver-colored weapon with a flaming emerald energy all about it. "Let's go. There's no time to waste. Charmix on her own will be in great danger", he said, opening a massive dimensional portal that would lead them to X-Factor and Charmix's current location.

The group began their assault on the weaken force. “I won’t let some worn out magic rejects get in my way!” X yelled, with that his machination had began to absorb and drain Hymesi within himself, taking the force of pure magic with him. "That worm!" Selene spoke in her mind. The manchine began to laugh as he accomplish what non of them had never expect him to do. His body glowed with pure magic, the energies enough to tear them all out without proper spells to protect them. The light which emitted from his leviated body grew brighter untill it blinded those who saw the flashes. Using her hands to cover her eyes, she felt the thrill of anger and betrayal rushing through her, of course she was always the one to betray not get betrayed. As his body reached the ground floor where he saw the opposing group he warned them all, “Beware, young sorcerers and witches, for none of you can stand against me now.” he was right and yet wrong at the same time, Selene was armed with the knowledge and "weapon" in taking him down, she just needed the right distraction to execute her plan. Of course it would of been easier if Hymesi was hostless, now the challenge was more difficult, she had to advise another tactic.

X-Factor turned his attention to the metal box connected to his body and waved a glowing hand over it. The device shrunk to the size of a Rubix cube and flew into his hand in a blur. Then his chest plate opened up and swallowed the box. “Now I can change reality to the way it should be, and with my own mechanical abilities providing a stable base for the magic within me, I can set everything right.” With that, he waved his left hand in a counter-clockwise motion as images of what had just happened began to rewind. Taking them back to when Stella was attempting to fix the mess, “You attacked the wrong person.” he performed an open palm blow that sent the Mistress of Magic flying across the room towards the other. “You are the cause of the paradox and the tear in time. If you die, then everything goes back to the way it belongs.”. "I have to stop this now, take what isn't his." she said to herself, X was leading towards insanity his binary coding all malfunction, pure raw magic was corrupting him. With power comes corruption and now he was paying the price for it. He wasn't a suitable "lively" host, but instead a machine.

Focusing she brew through her own mind to draw the spell she gained from the tree of memories and knowledge. She smiled with the end results. Shifting through the shadows like the venom queen she was, her body slithered around to make way to appear behind X-Factor. She emerge from the flames of darkness like a bat thirsty for blood. She muttered her incantation without the ears of anyone hearing, except for one. X vanish from her line of sight only to appear behind her, whispering in her ear one last time, “There is something I’ve always wanted to say to you, my queen.” a claw dug and ran through her body, reaching through her stomach. She struggle to speak, the pain was too much, her healing factor was gone since magic was haywired. “DIE LIKE THE LITTLE WRETCH YOU TRULY ARE!" he said as he drained her magic and essence, but she quickly used the last of her strength to pluck Mary into the astral plane along with her. Those who witness the kill were speechless, they never anticipated the outcome for Selene to be like this.

"I'm so sorry Selene...." Mary said as she saw the gore and the outcome of her life. "Shut up, don't be. Everyone serves a purpose in life, regrettably I didn't take yours. But lets skip the chat, I'm already dead and my astral form won't last for long." the conversation last for five minutes and Selene disperse from the astral plane. Normally spirits and such were allowed but with magic affecting every psychic and mystical field that was no longer the case. "Remember." Selene last said to Mary as she vanish, with the information in mind she challenged the manchine. “Who else wants to volunteer to feed me? You all will fuel me, but it’s so much easier to have volunteers. No? Well then, I guess it’s up to me.” everyone was still shocked, but Mary knew he couldn't contain the magic much longer sooner or later he was going to explode from it.

Vanishing one again appearing between the people, center of attention, “I’ll come back for the rest of you later, but I want to have a little fun with my next meal.” with that he grabbed Mary and together they both vanish from the nexus of time. They then both appeared in the middle of a city, frozen by X's suppose magic. Everyone lifeless, pause in motion spared by the chaos that enshrouded them, but deep in another plane gods were dying and fighting for survival. He threw her off his arm and walk around her in circles, a smile, a devious one followed him. So you’d better hurry along, cause I’ve got a deadline to meet.” taunting her as he move.

She could feel Umbra and Champion on their way, the telepathic rapport they shared. "You make it as if spells aren't incantation." she corrected him, "Something's off, is your coding malfunctioning? Can't handle the juice?" she teased back, a smile stretched across her face. "Looks like the calvary arrive just in time." both Umbra and the Champion rose from a portal and joined her. "You may be stronger than me, but with the three of us together, I'm sure we can even the odds." she was chancing it, but had to go through with her words, a bluff. "You may be strong and so called the smartest machine, but heres a two cent advise from me. 'There's no such thing as perfection, flaws are always apparent, even if their not transparent." with one of her many quotes said she launch a magical blast towards X, the battle was coming to a conclusion. "Umbra and Champion keep him occupied, I need to get close and end this whole thing once and for all." she instructed the two as they both charged, and Mary stay and gather all the strength she needed. Hymesi was fighting for freedom, for a more suitable host, and she was putting a strain on the machine. "Time to end this." with that said she ready herself for the right moment. "Don't be scared, don't hesitate, he's not a real man, do it." she told herself, making sure she wouldn't slip when the time came.

X let out another laugh as he watched Mary give the other magicians their orders. “You all are just too predictable,” he said as he began to calm down. “I don’t need to absorb any more energy, I never needed to. This was all a ruse to get everyone out of the nexus.” He gave them a few moments to let the information sink in as he disappeared again, avoiding the magic blast, and reappeared behind Alceus. “And godling, this is a little tip for the next time we meet. Never use a high tech weapon against me, or you’ll end up dead.” His eyes seemed to sparkle for a moment while the ring attempted to warn its bearer of the hacking. It managed to utter a few words before announcing that its owner was dead and that it needed to seek a replacement user. With that, it slipped off his finger and flew away in the blink of an eye. “With that out of the way, now I can proceed with my true goals.” He grinned as he snapped his fingers and disappeared once again.

X-Factor reappeared in the nexus as he began to feel the tolls of magic on his body. In his head, he could hear the goddess snickering and say, “It won’t be long now. Soon your body will burn out and I will be free to claim a better host.Maybe,” responded the droid as a small computer monitor extended from his body and laid itself on the floor. “But by the time that happens, I will have completed my goals and transferred myself into another replacement body.” The monitor flickered to life and displayed several ancient symbols, which was the true name of the ancient realm. X sat and entered a meditative state, his hands cupped and his thumbs connecting. He began to utter a phrase in the ancient language while the magical energies engulf him in a calming fire. The monitor began to glow in a similar fashion as each symbol began to change, one after the other. The large orb in the center of the room began to shine as the image of the magical tear appeared on it. “Let time reverse upon the tear and create a world that I desire,” he uttered again and again in the language of magic. Slowly, unnoticeably at first, the tear began to shrink. With each syllable uttered, more and more smoke began to pour from his body.

The moment he stepped foot in the alien dimension, mighty Alceus and Umbra were almost instantaneously asked by a relieved Charmix to keep X-Factor occupied. Smirking as he turned his head to face the menacing robot, Alceus couldn't help but imagine punching his opponent's mechanical face in. "You all are just too predictable", X-Factor exclaimed, shortly after having uttered a laugh during Charmix's allies arrival. X-Factor didn't hesitate to reveal his so called plan to the band of heroes, however, his words bored Alceus. Having spent most of his time opposing countless villains, The Champion is accustomed to hearing these speeches and statements so wearily often. The boredom got the better of him, yawning, mighty Alceus decided to interrupt him, "This must be the fiftieth time I've heard a speech like that", Alceus said, boldly. Suddenly, X-Factor reappeared behind Alceus, warning him to never again use a high-technology weapon against him, referring to his Green Power Ring. "You must have a thing for people's backs", Alceus chuckled, calmly watching his power ring slip off his finger.

As the Green Power Ring flew off into the distance, it unfortunately was not able to equal the speed at which Alceus chased after it with. In mere seconds, the powerful Olympian managed to grab the ring in flight, preparing to perform an act that he had once considered but went against it. Unfortunately, his situation called for such decisions. "Never thought I'd actually need to do this but let's see how it turns out. I just hope I can revert to normality from this", The Champion murmured as he began absorbing the pure raw energy inside his power ring. Sucking the immense energy from one of the universe's most powerful weapons, Alceus' body began to change. His muscular mass increased in proportion to his height while the outward flailing aura of energy around him turned into a lighter shade of yellow. The god's hair turned lighter in color and grew slightly longer as the electrical arcs surging around his body grew more prominent, generating a static sound every one second. "Damn... this is a lot of power", Alceus realized as he had completely sucked the power ring dry as it faded into a lifeless grey color and fell to the ground. With the energy from his Green Power Ring, the Son of Olympus briefly marveled at the awesome power at his command. The immense amount of energy surging through his veins granted him every single power that his power ring did and in addition, it made him exponentially stronger than before due to the two energies resting within him fusing into one.

In truth, he was even more powerful than he was when wearing the Green Power Ring. Instantly landing next to Umbra with his new level of power, the determined hero tightened his grip on the indestructible adamantine mace in his possession. And just as he was on the verge of launching a devastating attack aimed at his robotic enemy, X-Factor disappeared. But it was painfully obvious where he had fled to, and for a dimensional traveler such as Alceus, it would hardly be a task to pursue him. "He's in the nexus. I can feel his energy signature escaping back into the nexus. I can open a portal for us to follow him", The Champion said, tearing open a pulsating dimensional rift of colossal proportions so that everyone can walk into it simultaneously. Jumping into his portal, Alceus arrived in the nexus in no more than a second. Quickly spotting X-Factor who had a computer monitor extending from his body. Soon the nefarious machine was enveloped in a collection of supernatural energies as the computer monitor glowed. The enormous orb in the center of the nexus grew intensely radiant as it shined. "Let time reverse upon the tear and create a world that I desire", X-Factor had made his goal clear now. He had to be stopped at all costs. Generating two pulsating energy balls on his palms, The Champion thrust his palms forward, discharging an energy blast so powerful and so massive that even an entire star would not survive it.

The speed of the attack itself was impressive as well. It sped straight towards X-Factor at speeds nearing that of light. However, in spite of his new awesome power, Alceus had no idea that he was actually being slowly poisoned by this new energy that came as a result of the fusion between his own divine energies and the raw energy from his Green Power Ring. They were incompatible, and Alceus' body was paying the price. After this battle, he will have to remove the Green Power Ring's energy from his body. "Charmix, whenever you're ready, take care of this temporal mess", Alceus requested, focusing his attention on X-Factor.

"I'm scared Michael I wanna go home, I'm sick." He had no comforting words to offer her only hope, hope that they’d all be strong enough to endure this and win. Blast’s of pure fire and energy faltered as his wind barriers bloacked the onslaught of attacks he was determined to protect Charmix and her other selves. He was exhausted and to preoccupied to notice the machine speaking with Charmix soon however he noticed they had all moved around the body of water in the centre of the Nexus while the original Charmix hovered in the centre Michael stood in awe and then horror watching the each and every Charmix collapsed onto the floor. Everyone in the heat of battle rushed to their aid each hoping they could help in any way possible but the body of water rose up and caused a small wave around the sides blocking his path but soon when the water had dissipated he looked up to see Charmix but she was different he couldn’t tell how I mean he clothes were different but something else as well, this new Charmix showed each and everyone in the Nexus the fissure that had caused all this chaos and using her now much more considerable powers she scattered the demons surrounding them. Soon however the strain of using such magic affected her and she collapsed into the Alecus’ arms but she was determined to finish this and got up surprisingly quick for someone so weakened. Michael stood just behind this new Charmix while Alecus guarded both of them for another more powerful magical force ready to jump into action Michael instincts were backed up oddly by Gloomix "Weaken her! Just enough so I can use a spell to finish this once and for all!” he wasn’t so naïve to believe her fully but they needed all the help they could get.

Things were happening so fast he could barely keep up as everyone prepared to attack Hymesi a beam of light struck her and fire surrounded her blocking the combatants path “I won’t let some worn out magic rejects get in my way!” in the air above them the Machine he had seen earlier……what was his name….oh yeah X-Factor had trapped Hymesi and drained her power in a blinding flash of light he descended upon the combatants completed changed he radiated power his appearance had altered as well “Beware, young sorcerers and witches, for none of you can stand against me now.” his statement seemed true none of them had the power to defeat him but that wasn’t going to stop Michael he had to have faith in himself and his friends that they’d be able to stop him no matter what the price. As Gloomix moved from behind him she muttered under her breath but she was quickly displaced of as X-Factor appeared behind her and stabbed her through the chest. Before anyone had time to attack he vanished again only to reappear in the middle of the group Michael braced himself ready to fight but he was not X-factors target it was Charmix “I’ll come back for the rest of you later, but I want to have a little fun with my next meal.” And with that he was gone again only this time with a potential victim.

What was he going to do it would take to long to cast another locator and X-Factor was too powerful there was a high chance he could very well interfere with it “I’ll be right back. I promise. And when I'm back, we'll find Charmix. I know how to" what? What could he possibly be leaving for they needed to get to her now and if he knew a way he should just do it now they needed to get there, wherever as fast as possible.

Minutes passed and no sign of Alecus, Michael was getting worried he was on edge now, but suddenly a portal opened and Alecus appeared again this time with weapons in his arms, without warning a spear and some kind of animal skin was thrown at him. He caught them without much hassle though he did nearly drop the spear Michael was confused at what these were going to do "We're going after X and Charmix. I can follow them to their location. Umbra, put on the Nemean Lion Skin. It will protect you from harm. It's almost impenetrable. And grab that spear. Unfortunately I couldn't bring anything for the rest of you, Let's go. There's no time to waste. Charmix on her own will be in great danger" Now there was something he agreed on as Michael rushed to the portal he put on the Lion skin but clearly whatever Olympian that owned it was far bigger than Michael in both height and frame, he looked completely ridiculous it was blocking his arms and made running even harder but a idea struck him, concentrating on the lion skin Michael spoke “ekam eth noil niks fit” and slowly the skin warped to fit his body he made a mental note to himself to fix it whenever he was giving it back.

Running through the portal Michael arrived in a city centre he didn’t know which but it didn’t matter he and Alecus had appeared directly beside Charmix and X-Factor, as both of them stood at each side of her ready to fight for life "You may be stronger than me, but with the three of us together, I'm sure we can even the odds. “ With that Michael and Alecus charged forward both of there power’s heightened to the max while Charmix fired a magical blast at X-Factor. He heard Charmix speak to them telepathically “Umbra and Champion keep him occupied, I need to get close and end this whole thing once and for all."

Alecus was faster then Michael but even before he got there X-Factor vanished and reappeared again, he couldn’t speak for the other but Michael gained the impression that X-Factor was a coward. Holding the spear in both hands Michael reached into the sky and a lighting bolt far more powerful, more raw than Michael could normally summon shot directly towards X-Factor but again to no avail he disappeared once again this was really getting on his nerves now. The blast from the lightning totalled the surrounding area but Alecus was safe in the air but something odd was happening to him he was glowing but no the usual golden colour it was green. He landed next to Michael and a small ring was cupped in his hands Michael recognised it as he had one of his own before it was a power ring and it must have been the green lantern corps ring that symbolised Willpower just like Michael’s except his own symbolised Compassion though I’m sure that would have changed now that his compassion for other had taken quite a hit recently.

"He's in the nexus. I can feel his energy signature escaping back into the nexus. I can open a portal for us to follow him" damn it he thought this was his plan without us there the Nexus was unprotected and with his current power levels he could easily do what he wanted. Opening another portal the trio made there way back to the Nexus. They had gotten back mere moments later but they were still cutting this very fine X-Factor was already beginning to warp time and space if they waited any longer every once of power they used, every minute would be wasted. Beside him Alecus fired a beam of energy so strong Michael felt himself lose balance slightly but this didn’t deter him. As Alecus braced himself from the force of the blast Michael and Charmix got to work. As the remnants of Alecus’ mighty blast faded after his attack Michael changed forward spear in hand Michael summoned a powerful storm. Speaking to both Alecus and Charmix through there telepathic link “Guys Im about to total the natural system in this place right now but you’ll be safe from harm I’m going to stop the elements from harming you, Charmix I’m giving you a small opening here if this weather blinds his vision enough there’s a chance you can sneak behind him and well do what needs to be done” With his newly enhanced power’s Michael used his mutant weather powers along with the spears magically enhanced powers tied to Zeus to summon wind’s, rain, hail and lighting. A tornado formed and was propelled at X-Factor while the hail and rain thickened in the sky, This was the most powerful storm he’d ever summoned, buildings and humans would have be blown away but Michael suspected that X-Factor’s powers would protect him but all he needed to do was distract him longer enough he hoped himself and Alecus combined could give Charmix enough time to finish this once and for all.

X didn’t expect them to come after him so soon. He also didn’t expect them to have so much power left. The droid was sent flying as the massive energy blast struck him, causing him to lose concentration and cease the spell. X struck the orb with enough force to crack it to the point where it was threatening to fall apart, then fell into the shallow pool below it. “Wait,” he uttered before being pelted by the barrage of rain and hail. When he brought his head up, he saw a massive tornado the likes of which had never been seen before in power and size. Though he struggled, he was soon lifted off his feet and sucked into the screaming vortex. Inside the tornado, all he could do was go completely limp as the fury of the winds sent him flying in whatever direction the wind decided to take him. Eventually the tornado spat him out and sent him flying into the nearby archway, taking a small chunk out of it, and falling onto the ground. He groaned as he attempted to pick himself up, but suddenly began to convulse with a sudden, agonizing pain. Two feminine hands made purely out of energy began to come out of his back, but with a tremendous effort, he managed to pull them back in. “This body has become too damaged. I need to get a replacement body now, or else everything I’ve worked for will be gone.

Using the most of his concentration, he opened a small portal back to his lab. Inside, several X-Factor copies rushed out from their hiding spots and leapt through the portal into the nexus. The closest duplicate rushed to his side and both of their chest panels opened up. In mere seconds, the cube holding Hymesi, his battery, and his mind were in the duplicate, making it the new X.   Its appearance shifted again to the golden armor and white cloak and he looked over at the group that decided to oppose him. “Why are you all trying to stop me. If you knew what I was trying to do, you’d help me like Athena did instead of hinder me.” He grinned at the reaction of the godling as he continued to tempt him. I told Athena of plan and she willingly stopped Poseidon and Ares from attacking me and went with me.  But if you all want to fight me so bad, then so be it.” The duplicates then began to march forward, two for each combatant. Only two duplicates stayed with X as he made his way back towards the orb and got back into a meditative state. The magical aura around him flared again as he restarted his spell in the ancient magical language. The duplicates then bolted towards their targets, each one taking measures to ensure success against their opponents.

A smile splashed across a content Alceus' face. His devastating attack was a success, the enormous energy blast managed to disrupt X-Factor's attempts at his spell and force him off his feet with overwhelming power. The blast's sheer raw power had knocked nefarious X against the supernatural orb with such intensity that the orb itself began to crack, no longer possessing the strength to maintain it's structure. "Seems like he's not as strong as he claimed to be", The Champion realized, his eyes widening during the important realization. Falling into the pool below the cracking orb, X-Factor attempted to halt the assault against him with words. "Wait", he pleaded, only to be overwhelmed by a relentless barrage of rain and hail, quickly followed by a colossal tornado that only the gods are believed to command. Briefly turning round to face Umbra, Alceus was sincerely impressed by youth's skill at manipulating weather. "Damn, he's good", mighty Alceus smirked, glad to have such an ally at his side. While Umbra was indeed being assisted by the spear's power, very few possessed the skill necessary to wield the spear with such confidence and mastery, Umbra was one of those few, anyone else would have most likely struck themselves with a lightning bolt.

Despite X-Factor's struggle to remain on the ground, the tornado's merciless winds snatched him from the ground's comfort, whirling him into the violent vortex where he was tossed and manhandled like a rag-doll. "He's really good", Alceus smiled, focusing his senses on X-Factor's energy-signature, a much better alternative to his vision. As he gushed out of the massive tornado, X-Factor violently fell to the ground. The physical pain that he had sustained from the combined attacks of Umbra and Alceus had clearly taken it's toll on him. Then suddenly, without warning, two ethereal hands emerged from his back. It was Hymesi, she was attempting to escape from the weakened vessel. But the machine's willpower allowed him to force her back into his body. "He's weakened, we can pick him apart now", The Champion realized, signaling for Umbra to launch his next attack. However, in a matter of seconds, X-Factor channeled all of his energies and spirit of concentration to open a rather small dimensional rift that led to his laboratory. From the rift, numerous X-Factor copies emerged, arriving in the nexus to do battle against the heroes. "What's he attempting?", Alceus wondered as the copy nearest to X-Factor effectively transferred bodies with the original X-Factor, thereby rendering the copy, X-Factor's new and unhindered body. The robot's new body reverted to the golden appearance the old one had taken right after the absorption of Hymesi.

As X-Factor focused his attention on his attackers with a condescending facial expression, he made an attempt at manipulating them. "Why are you all trying to stop me. If you knew what I was trying to do, you'd help me like Athena did instead of hinder me", the robot grinned, hoping that the heroes' faith in the greater good would be shattered. "I told Athena of a plan and she willingly stopped Poseidon and Ares from attacking me and went with me. But if you all want to fight me so bad, then so be it". Chuckling humorously at X-Factor's words, Alceus found it hilarious that an attempt to manipulate him had been made, not even Hades has been successful in doing so and he is comparable to Loki in such activities. "What you're trying to do is not for the benefit of the universe. The spell you were using a while ago, my energy-senses informed me of an attempt to alter what already is. Athena was manipulated into working with you, she was coerced. And she was weak, she wasn't in her right mind. A healthy Athena with a clear mind would have seen right through your plan just like we have. Charmix is the one to repair this perversion in time, you simply want to take advantage of the situation for your own benefit", the Son of Olympus said, boldly without any hesitation whatsoever. His heroic mindset would not be so easily broken, not when his entire purpose is to be a savior. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, X-Factor's duplicates rushed over to their enemies, two copies for each fighter. Looking over to Umbra, Alceus made it a point that they defeat their opponents as soon as possible, X-Factor's spell must not be allowed to take effect. "Destroy them quickly Umbra!", Alceus warned as prepared to fight.

With the awareness that he was doing battle against copies much weaker than the real X-Factor, The Champion extended one palm at each copy and completely vaporized both with two respective blasts of energy of immense power. Honestly, they were mere shells when compared to the real X-Factor, who's power was fearsome. Quickly turning his attention to the real X-Factor, The Champion instantly detected rising energy levels as the robot was making yet another attempt at the spell. "Charmix, get working", Alceus said as the veins on his arms surfaced, the electrical arcs surrounding him grew wilder with each second as an abrupt static sound was produced. Leaping into the air, Alceus made a hand motion as a humongous bolt of lightning, traveling at the same speed as his previous attack on X-Factor but even more powerful than the blast that temporarily rocked X-Factor sped down to crash on X-Factor. Considering that the robot might manage to escape his attack's fury, The Champion landed a few meters behind X-Factor and shot a gigantic green fist straight towards X-Factor with enough power to collapse an entire star. While the power he possessed at the moment was truly intoxicating, it would soon begin to take it's toll on him. Not only was it consuming his stamina at an alarming rate as Alceus began to pant in slight fatigue, but it was actively poisoning him. He only hoped that Charmix was preparing herself to stop X.

"Where'd he go?!" Mary shouted, He's in the nexus. I can feel his energy signature escaping back into the nexus. I can open a portal for us to follow him", Champion replied, "Hurry before were too late." she responded and he did so. Tearing the fabric of space and time to create an interdimensional portal that would lead them back to the nexues of time. A solitude area of sacred wonders, forbidden and hard to reach yet the heroes of this chapters made it possible to transverse through. As the three arrived, every hero who were behind was knocked out for the count, "Let time reverse upon the tear and create a world that I desire", he was doing it, but at what cost, changing one event creates another, linked by chains, the casulaties of the outcome would vary, either bad or good, neither neutral as long as the animoly was present and breathing. The Champion rushed into battle, discharging an immense solar destructive blast with enough force to shatter a planet, surely the strength and energy would cause some feedback on his being but he was willing to take whatever account he had to deposit those energy. "Charmix, whenever you're ready, take care of this temporal mess", Alceus requested, focusing his attention on X-Factor, "I'll try!" she said as she concentrated on the fluctuating magic, trying to narrow it perfectly into her grasp.

“Guys Im about to total the natural system in this place right now but you’ll be safe from harm I’m going to stop the elements from harming you, Charmix I’m giving you a small opening here if this weather blinds his vision enough there’s a chance you can sneak behind him and well do what needs to be done” Umbra spoke telepathically as the three minds were linked. Genuis, using his elemental gifts for both offense and diversion, just what she needed. Hail and rain stormed the skies as a massive tornado of size struck down to suck X within it, the sight of such elemental diaster was both awe and frightful. Umbra was quite impressive with his gifts, if Mary didn't have her gifts surely she would run for her life, not a day like this would one ever witness and survive a sight such as this. "Bravo boy bravo." she commented him in her mind. The twister then dispose of him and release him from her aerial assualt, his body severely weakened, giving the magical force he held within him to fight for control, the force emerge from his back fighting for freedom but Factor's willpower and strength reabsorb her back in his body, "He's weakened, we can pick him apart now" Champion said to Umbra, but before the two can engage, X created a portal for escape. "Dam this never gets old." she said in annoyance. The portal remained behind as an army of X-Factor's duplicates emerge, a confusion to tuggle the heroes, "What's he attempting?" Champion wondered, she could feel his curiosities, "He's attempting to bring in his pets, distracting us and wearing us down, once he gets the chance he'll end us." she said as she remained calm, trying to find the original X.

X-Factor then focused his attention on the boundless heroes. "Why are you all trying to stop me. If you knew what I was trying to do, you'd help me like Athena did instead of hinder me", the robot grinned, trying to shatter the hopes of the Olympic hero. "I told Athena of a plan and she willingly stopped Poseidon and Ares from attacking me and went with me. But if you all want to fight me so bad, then so be it". Laughing at the though of victory and the outcome, not even other mischief gods had done so, cunning as they were. Charmix is the one to repair this perversion in time, you simply want to take advantage of the situation for your own benefit", the Son of Olympus said, boldly without any hesitation whatsoever, which Mary looked at him, her hair covering her left eye, she admired his words and his faith within her. "Thank you..." she whispered in the back of her mind.

"Destroy them quickly Umbra!", Alceus urged, shouting in the midst of battle like a true born leader, he made it clear it wasn't X-Factor's place to set his dreams and reality into motion but it was Mary's place to fix her mistakes. The two men were releasing bolts of electrical energy towards the copies. Fighting relentlessy and courageous as ever, she stood and planned, her mind enter a stragetic mode as she gain insight from the knowledge place upon her by Gloomix. "Charmix, get working", Champion spoke as he noticed X was preparing another spell, with the lightning bolts being shot down from many sides and corner of the battle field, Mary used them to her advantage. Manipulating the left over electrical neurons from which the lightning were shot at she redirected towards the reobtic copies in front of her, a feat which was hard for even the most skilled witches to replicate, something that made her unique and vastly skilled giving her, her namesake, Mistress of Magic. Running a path towards X-Factor, there the Champion had already unleash a devastating blast of energy which he did so earlier but at what price she wondered. With the mechanic mastermind serverely weakend, Mary lauch herself behind his back and wrapped her legs on his waist and chaining his hands with hers'. "You've done more harm then good!" she said, "Really, I'm trying to help this world, at what you've done, your actrocius witch!" he retored, " A sacrifice must be made.... and it is going to be me." she spoke in her mind "Then allow me to fix this! Aufero Magus Infusco" she chanted the dark hidden and forbidden spell thrice, which then set off a magical explosion splitting the two apart, as she opened her eyes, daze from the shock wave, "There'll be consequences." the dying wind spirits whispered to her, foreshadowing the effect her spell did. She glanced over to see X-Factors body, which was destroyed as only parts were left behind.

She did it, she ended him but not the rift that was still present. Her body layed on the floor constantly emitting magical electric discharge, her skin grew paler than her original fair skin and her hair turned dark so did her eyes, it was constantly changing back and forth from her original features to this new one. Then the world was turning white and slowly fading away consuming other realities, "What's happening to me..." Umbra said in pain, holding his stomach as he moan in distress, then came the same with the Champion asking the same question. "I had too..." she choked on her words as she got on her knees. Umbra nose and eyes bled simultaneously, she knew the Olympic hero could see his magical aura dispersing, slowly turning his body into rotting decay that flew away with the winds. "CHARMIX, FIX THIS!" the Champion shouted, as he cried while he watch Umbra's body being turned into ashes and writhering away, "Good bye guys." Umbra said as he was now gone. Crawling her way to the hero, she place his head on her lap, removing his helmet to see his true face and eyes, seeing his face one last time. "I had to take it away to end it.. all the bad and evil, all the magic. I had to destroy magic." she cryptically said. "The spell I used not only drained X-factor's magic that he had from Hymesi but from others as well, those within the universe that love and tainted their souls with the craft, as well as permanetly destroying it, ridding the universe of it's very power, I destroyed the very force of magic itself, Hymesi. Now I can hear all the dead mages crying out in pain and Hymesi's final warning to me for doing so, the consequences I'm going to pay" a tear drop ran down her cheeks to land on her ally's forehead. He didn't understand, he didn't want too, he was dying meeting the same fate as Umbra and other mages. "I can feel my magic slipping away too just like the others, all the magic, heading towards the rift, to repair it. It's finally over Alceus... we won." she said slowly, looking into his eyes and smiling. The magic drove her insane, trying to grasp onto her sanity as she stared into his eyes.

"Please Mary, please, fix this, we didn't win we lost look around us. All the harship we faced, all the tears we shed, all the excitement we had, its going away, this world along with others is dying, only to just become a distant memory that no one will ever remember. I know you can fix it, theres always another way, an alternative route, even if the chains are linked, there is a way. Regardless of the outcome its better than this.." his voice was heavy and slow, grasping for all the air that was needed to complete, he was dying, slowly but surely. She didn't know what to say, surprisingly speechless, but she only had one phrase in mind "I... I'm sorry.". Looking into his heavy droopy eyes, and closing hers' she ran her fingers through his head, whispering "It's going to be okay.", " Vitas Phasmatis, Ex Salito, Revertas Phasmatis. Ut Victas, Vitas Phasmatos, Ex Salito." she chanted bringing the effect of the dying Champion back to full health her spell was ensuring it, sparing his life and restoring him allowing him to live. Still, magic was leaving her and she was paying the price for using so much magic, like Umbra the magic formed itself in her suffering a nose bleed and her eyes bleeding as well, her body in pain and slowly dying and writhering away like Umbra's. She slowly reached over and looked at Alceus, a final departure and a gesutre that was to cement their time together and sorrow for which she done as her body was burning away with the winds, witht the last of her physical body left, her lips, implanted a kiss onto Alceus lips, both their soft and tender lips met, her body then completely burned away and travelled with the winds. "Live." the last and final words spoken as it echoed away and the last of her magic was used to set everything right. The world turned white as Alceus closed his eyes and was swallowed up with it leading himself to a brand new world full of change and new hopes, but what of the lasting consequences remained to be seen.

Finally, realities is restored, time is reparied, magic has change, but worse of all the Mistress of Magic is no more or so we thought.

The end, for now....
