what is one thing big or small that annoys you about the U?

Mine: I don't like it when people only read half of an opening post, team or RPG

The egos of some of the people here are borderline insane.

No-selling.

I hate the groveling people tend to do around here.

I also dislike people telling others they have to change their character nigh completely in order to get "noticed".

Yes I dislike this as well. It is maddening.

All the good stuff has been said already. I don't like it when people don't ask if someone is only joking around, before they get all bent out of shape however. People need to lighten up, and get a sense of humor.

People who get butt hurt because someone has a problem with their "friend" take ya ass out side and get some fresh air.

The fact that CV's become a water downed version of high school baffles me. Subliminal insults, kissing @ss, and pretending to be something your not. If I wanted to deal with this kind of insanity....I would of signed up for summer school O_O

Honest thing I'm not a fan of is people who don't build a characters. Like making a character that owns a fortune 500 company or is the top martial artist without said character having any past interactions to gain influence or wins on under their belt, just ruins the realistic feel for me, which is 99 percent what I dig about being here

People that are sore losers and take their anger/jealousy out on someone else.

I hear that, the problem with it though is this

insulter: "Your character sucks seriously go get a new idea haha"

Insulted: "Was that a joke?"

insulter: "Oh yeah lol"

Clearly in that statement there was some type of negativity directed at the insulted person joke or not, but the insulter would never own up to that fact, and the cycle of bs and passive aggression continues.

Brings up another thing: I HATE passive aggressive people, in any setting, Vine or other wise

This is a particularly rare one. In fact, I think I've only run into it once or twice, but telling me how I should write my character pisses me off. This is different from criticism, by the way. I mean, for most of my characters, I've got a definite plan set up. I know what I'm doing with him/her/it, and I wouldn't of made the character if it didn't have a purpose. I respect positive criticism, and I'm good at taking it. But when you flat-out tell me how I should be writing my character, I'm going to want to punch in your face.

Also, the expectation of realism that sometimes pops up. I don't like being realistic 24/7. I'd like to just let loose sometimes, without having to worry about lacking in realism.

Edit: Oh, a third one.

People who start things in open threads. I get enough drama in real life from my family. I usually come to CV to relax a little and enjoy myself. Seeing that crap here (especially when we have a pm system), is annoying.

I hear you, it's just a personal preference. Read your bio, don't take it personally. What I said kind of doesn't apply to divine or magic characters, because those are two that need to have some type of experience filled background to even be played with.

Idk though..all my characters are master martial artist,but its only cause my first character was and my reputation as a writer is based mostly on being a kicking a$$ type nigg@.

@Surkit: My dad is scared of clowns. Because of that movie. Plus, I just can't take that spider thing It turns into seriously. It's so silly-looking.

Dude can be a badass and not be known as one, on some bruce wayne sh!t feel me?

lol I know it's a let down as an adult, but the suspense of it was what did it for most people. I was scared to take a shower for like three nights after that scene where IT jumps out of the sink hole. I think King built up the suspense great with hardly any blood shed. Another one is the Leprechaun lol I lmao at it now, but that lil mf scared me bad as a kid lol
